I had a hard time getting into this book. I felt like there was missing pieces of the story, which made me Struggle getting through the story. Lily didn’t have enough depth for a main character.
I did feel like this story had the potential to be amazing if more was added to it

Turner left his home town to get away from his father and now he's returning 12 years later, after the death of his father. Turner broke Lily's heart before he left and now that he's back, she realizes that she is still attracted to him ... and he doesn't even remember who she is.

Although the premise of this book is great, I had a hard time following the storyline because it felt like there were chunks missing. I don't get why Turner was so in love with Lily right from when he arrived back in town ... but yet he doesn't remember her at all. And Lily as so in love with Turner, yet she avoided him. I did like that Lily was a strong female lead who had her own business.

Unfortunately, when I don't like one of the main characters, I really struggle to enjoy a book. Lily is not a nice character. She's supposed to be an adult but spends her whole time avoiding Turner because of something that happened when they were teenagers. Did he sleep with her and run away? Or at the very least kiss her. When it turns out what it was that he 'did' it's so stupid and pathetic. She really needs to get a grip and grow up.
I ended up skimming towards the end. I suppose that she gets her 'happily ever after' but I wouldn't bet that it will be ever after. Surely poor old Turner will come to his senses and run off back to Berlin and get the chance of a real relationship with a woman, rather than some emotionally stunted teenager.

"Seducing the Dragonfly" by Sara Ohlin was a romance novel about the fictional small town of Graciella in the Pacific Northwest. Lily is a strong-willed, determined and independent woman, who is a craftswoman and takes real pride in everything she does. Turner is a golden-boy of the the wealthiest family in town. Son of T.D. Brockman, a miser and harsh man to his sons and the town.

After some successful years as a real estate broker in Berlin, Germany, Turner is burnt out and needs some time off. His partner suggests he return home, to help his family settle their estate after his father's passing. Then he meets Lily, a beautiful, sexy woman who seems to hate him for some reason. The pursuit is on to figure out her coldness towards him and win her heart.

The novel is an erotic romantic novel with a few sex scenes, but otherwise, the book has well-developed characters, an interesting story line, and was enjoyable as a whole. It is not a prerequisite to read the first book in the series to understand the characters and what is going on.

The story of Lily and Turner. He is back in town 12 years after he left. He never knew how she felt about him back then, so will she give him a chance to break her heart again?

Looking forward to the rest of this series

I feel like huge chunks of this story went missing and didn’t make it to the ARC. I never understood the instant attraction Turner had to Lily and why he started chasing her around. I also couldn’t fall for Lily’s ridiculous immature behavior when it came to Turner in the ENTIRE book. She acted like a teenager instead of a supposed grown ass woman who had traveled the world and educated herself. The story had potential but it failed.

I was provided with an ARC of this book by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Kristen and Tyler are two people that have this overwhelming attraction for each other but... Kristen is hiding a secret. Tyler thinks she hated and loathes him but kristen is just trying to keep her secret safe.
While working on a project together, they see that they have an instant chemistry and attraction to each other that they can not ignore. They give him to it and it grows to something so much more.
But will Kristen forgive Tyler the one that she never thought she would in the past and let him know the secret she has been keeping?

I really enjoyed this book and this authors writing style. I cant wait to read more by her. She is one I will be following for sure.
