I could not get into this one.
Sadly, I have to give up on this author since I haven’t been able to get into the last few stories I’ve tried by her.

“The Tycoon’s Convenient Bride” by Leslie North, is the third book in the European Tycoon series.

The story focuses on the last of the three male friends, Anthony Charles Harrington V (referred to as Tony), aka Billionaire bad boy.

In a last attempt at his freedom - before becoming the responsible businessman who needs to take over the family business - he flies off to Fiji and meets Diana Tinsley, a volunteer nurse.

A holiday fling was all it was meant to be.

2 months later, Tony finds Diana at his castle door with news of her pregnancy. On the spur of the moment he proposes a marriage of convenience, believing this was the best route to not make the same mistake as his father.

Throughout their story there was a growing realization of the love they have for each other, although in their own POV. It was quiet maddening at times where one moment they would fall into each other’s arms than next deny their feelings for one another. Both separately declaring that the other does not want a loved marriage or the other didn’t love them.

Cute story overall.
Star rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ and 1/2

I received a free copy of THE TYCOON’S CONVENIENT BRIDE (European Tycoons Book 3) by Leslie North in exchange for an honest review. Billionaire Anthony Charles Harrington, V, is on the verge of a dynastic engagement to someone he barely knows when Diana Tinsley, with whom he had a recent holiday fling, shows up on his doorstep with a baby on board. Tony easily changes gears to become engaged to Diana. Diana had no plans to marry, but the baby changed things. As Tony’s wife, Diana gives up her career, tries to fit in, and works to become the society wife he needs to support his business. The marriage starts out platonic, but the two soon rediscover the passion they shared at their first meeting. When Tony chooses business over family and makes it clear that their arrangement is business only, Diana realizes her emotional attachments are unreciprocated. Will the pair continue in a platonic marriage, decide to have a real marital relationship, or go their separate ways?

This was short and entertaining. Both parties have to consider whether to enforce their expectations or allow hope to guide their actions.

The Tycoon's Convenient Bride, is my favorite kind of romance novel. Marriage of convenence turns into marriage of love. It also shows us that money can't buy happiness.
