Runaway Bride.
Jenna, realising that her bridegroom cares little for her wishes and feelings absconds from her wedding with, what she thinks, is the limo chauffeur. Luckily this total stranger is a good guy and not only helps her to get away but takes her to her honeymoon destination to hide out. Zach falls for Jenna the moment he sees her face in the rear view mirror of his car and he is reluctant to leave her amidst a horde of happy, loved-up couples. He therefore stays the night to help her settle in, then one day leads to another and then another. Jenna and Zach have fun together but everything falls apart when Jenna’s ex appears on the scene. An enjoyable book.

A sweet story about a woman who runs away from a groom who is all wrong for her and meets a guy who might just be Mr. Right.

Zach ends up helping Jenna when she leaves her fiance. Despite thinking he'll help her just a little, he is instead drawn to her and wants to spend more time together. This leads him to being with her at the resort she planned to spend her honeymoon at. I liked the creativity of all the anti-honeymoon. It really brought both of them out of their shells and gave them time to bond.

Definitely a cute, fun read!

Jenna is doubting her relationship with Elliot on her wedding day. She is not sure about the marriage or the groom. So she runs from the church and gets into a car and assumes the stranger is the driver. But turns out that stranger is Zach, Elliot's former business partner. With no place to go and no one to help Zach offers to plan her escape because he is really good at planning.

They decide to go the honeymoon resort and replace every couple activity with anti honeymoon activities. Like kick boxing, getting drenched in painting and getting a tattoo. And Zach is keeping his fair share of secrets from her. So what happens when they have to leave this bubble and face the reality. Will they want anything more? Or will they leave it as a memorable vacation?

Review-

The first and foremost I want to talk about is book cover. I didn't like the book cover at all. It is kind of dull plus it doesn't resembles the characters at all.

The writing is easy and smooth. It definitely keeps you hooked from the very first page. I like the side characters too especially Chuck he is just too fun to read about.

I couldn't understand the character development because there is nothing to compare them with. The whole book is about those days on the resort. Nothing before that and nothing after that so you don't know how they were as a person before that. I am saying this because author keeps mentioning that they have changed but from what I couldn't get it.

I so wish there was something more after the honeymoon days. Because the whole time they were in bubble away from reality but what happens after that. The story just ends quickly after it with not much action. I couldn't understand the true nature of the characters till the end.

The story is fun no doubt. I really like the chemistry between the two main characters. The anti honeymoon activities were quite unique and thoughtful. It is an easy breezy read with a lot of fun elements.

The book definitely shines at its high moments making you chuckle and cry.

This was a fun read. I really enjoyed the fun spin on it being an “anti-honeymoon” and how they twisted the activities to non couple things. There was definitely chemistry between the characters and overall the story was a quick fun read.

I recommend it for a beach read

This book started out with me laughing and I don’t think I stopped until the end of the book. This was a new author for me, and I loved the author’s style of writing. The story flowed smoothly, and the witty banter kept me laughing and reading the story until the end. I loved the funny descriptions of the wedding dress and the honeymoon resort. They were so vivid and easy to picture. The characters were interesting, and the storyline was unique. Not only did Jenna, the bride, run away from her marriage but to run away with Zach, the ex-friend of the grooms? Then to go to the honeymoon resort and do anti-honeymoon activities? What a hoot! I am certainly a new follower of this author after reading this book.

A lighthearted and fun read. Jenna decides to ditch her wedding and ends up in the wrong getaway car. From there on her life becomes an adventure. Zach becomes the unwitting accomplice as Jenna runs away. The characters, including Jenna’s elderly friends are delightful. These two turn a honeymoon into an experiment that leads to forever love. I loved the quirkinesses of Zach’s character which makes him even more lovable.

You know the books going to be good when you’re rooting for the main characters! Quick read lots of humor and very anti-honeymoon. I recommend this book!

The Anti-Honeymoon by Bethany Michaels is a fun romantic story. Jenna runs out on her wedding straight into Zach’s car. Zach just happens to be an old business partner of her fiance’s and is trying to decide if he should go into the wedding ceremony or not.

I read the story idea and it sounded fun. I liked the idea that they would do anti-honeymoon activities. Zach was super fun. The story line may have been totally unrealistic but I didn’t mind because it was so fun. It is a great escape read and a fun beach read.
One of my favorite characters was also Zach’s assistant. She was fun and oh so efficient. We all need a Marcy in our life.

My only disappointment is that the book cover designer didn’t read the book to know that she couldn’t breathe in the dress so that is definitely not the dress she had on at the wedding.

Sexy and fun - this is an enjoyable runaway bride romp. Jenna runs out on her own wedding and jumps into Zach's car to get away. However, rather Zach is her jilted groom's business rival rather than the hired car she thought.... Before long, he helps her escape and lots of sexy times ensue.

I loved the start to this book - it was well written and made me smile. However, while the middle was sexy, it seemed to drag. I loved the premise of their goal, but it went on too long. The ending was wonderful and with a surprising, yet satisfying, end.

Fans of the genre will enjoy this one. I'd give this 3.5 stars, but will round up to four stars.

After Jenna ditches her finance on the day of her wedding, she ends up with Zach as her getaway driver. He is an old fridn of her fiances, but she has never met him before.
As soon as he meets Jenna, Zach wants to help her, and ends up going on the honeymoon with her. As they start to fall for each other, is it just a fling or something more? When her ex turns up what will happen for her and Zach?

A great read, and I liked how it was told from both of their points of view.

This was a really good idea for a story, I loved the premise, the only downside is that the characters fell for each other a bit too quickly to make it believable. It did make me chuckle though

I thought this book started off
Really well, but then it dragged a lot in the middle for me. It ended with a nice HEA, so I think it is a 3 star review for me. Thank you to netgalley for the arc.
