From the opening pages this book has you on the edge of your seat. Full of action, suspense, some romance, definitely keeps you interested. Hits home today with the kidnappings and human trafficking that our nation is seeing. A story that kept me guessing until the end as to who did it.

Don’t Keep Silent is the third book in the Uncommon Justice series and even though I did not read the first two, I did not feel lost or behind in the series. This was a fast paced book with adventure and trying to figure out what happened to Rae’s missing sister in law. The suspense was great and kept me moving but the romance was lacking and I think that irritated me through the story.

I was provided with an electronic ARC through NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

This book was an excellent blend of suspense and romance. At times I found the back story between the two main characters was too much of a focus and made a few questions arise in my head as to how it worked that were never answered. The plot was complicated enough that it wasn’t too easy to figure out who all the different players in the evil plot are. You can’t help but wish for the main characters to make it past their past and get together.

Don’t Keep Silent is a fast-paced, ski-adventure thriller. It is well-written with a plot full of suspense. It’s not one of those you can predict from the start (at least I couldn’t), so that was really great. The author does a great job of teasing out the resolution and pulling readers in.

Despite this and unfortunately, the characters came across as two-dimensional to me. This is usually one of the trade-offs with thrillers, as so much has to go into the action details, and so is understandable. And while there are attempts by the author to give the characters depth (for eg: Rae’s aspiration to be more like her Pulitzer-winning father and Liam’s struggle with what to do with his future), it doesn’t quite hit the mark and gets overshadowed by everything else that is happening.

Some other high points for me were: 1) the way the title (Don’t Keep Silent) is incorporated into the story and 2) the book cover! This story gets 3 stars from me, and I would like to read more from this author.

Many thanks to Revell and Ms. Goddard for a complimentary copy via NetGalley. These opinions are mine.

A thrilling and suspenseful conclusion. I loved every minute of this book because it held me captive, wanting to know how it would end. Definition didn't have it figured out and I loved that.
The character building, both Rae and Liam have been through a lot and have to learn forgiveness, to trust God. The romance, oh so beautiful I was definitely rooting for them from start to finish.
This book takes you on a beautiful journey from start to finish, meeting these wonderful characters and learning more about them and the choices the make and how it affected them in the long run, the struggles they each faced. It's definitely not one to be missed.

Don't Keep Silent by Elizabeth Goddard is a fast paced third addition to her Uncommon Justice series. Ms. Goddard weaves an exciting, action-packed, mysterious, crime fighting tale led by Rae Burke and Liam McKade, two characters who must discover the truth in a complicated web of deceit and mystery in order to save the life of Rae's sister in law.
I absolutely loved the suspense, adventure, and mysteriousness of Rae's search for her sister in law, Zoey. Rae as an investigative journalist doesn't know how to stop searching for answers, which often leads her into dangerous situations. Rae has had close calls in her past, but won't let the dangers and risk slow her down in her search for Zoey. When Rae's brother pleads for her to find Zoey, Rae knows that she must ask for help from the one person dreads approaching, Liam McKade.
Liam was just enjoying a pleasant day of skiing at a local resort, when he is flabbergasted to see a ghost of his past. The woman who blew his undercover work as a DEA agent and almost caused his death is coming to him for help again? What could Rae possibly want from him now?
Rae and Liam have years of hard feelings, confusion, and hatred to work through, but before they can resolve their past, dangers once again threaten Rae. Liam doesn't want to get dragged into another path of danger, heartache, and grief, but he can't seem to just leave her alone against a growing unknown danger. Can Rae and Liam find Zoey before it is too late? Will they be able to work together against the very dark and evil characters that they face? Can Liam and Rae find a way to forgiveness?
I definitely enjoyed this book and have enjoyed all of Ms. Goddard's writings that I have had the opportunity to read. I appreciate the way Ms. Goddard develops her characters as well as the context of her character's struggles and problems. There is a great depth of intrigue, mystery, and adventure contained in this work, which keeps the reader constantly guessing. This is a very well-written, action-packed, tale of faith, forgiveness, family, and the fight for justice. I would highly recommend this book.

Don’t Keep Silent by Elizabeth Goddard is part of the Uncommon Justice series. Ms Goddard is a brilliant author and I love how she consistently writes suspenseful novels with strong female lead characters. In this book, she features an investigative reporter who gets pulled into a missing persons case when her sister in law goes missing. But nothing in this case is what it initially appears. Ms Goddard has crafted a brilliant mystery full of interesting characters with multiple layer that keep revealing themselves as the book progresses. The plot is intriguing and keeps building tension until it is nearly too much at times. Written from a Christian perspective, it is still a book full of hope and second chances. It is an important book, with its very real look at human trafficking and its reality in America. I have read other books by this author and I have found each of them unique and packed with suspense and some romance. I am definitely a fan of this author's work and I sincerely look forward to more books in this series or in similar series's in the future. I received a digital copy of this book from the publisher with no obligations. These opinions are entirely my own.

“Don’t Keep Silent” was sent to me free of charge, by Net Galley,

in exchange for my honest review.

This book was really good! I read a lot of Elizabeth Goddard, and this is one of her best. “Don’t Keep Silent” is a Christian Suspense book, but it has just the right amount of CLEAN romance.

Rae and Liam are the main characters. They are thrown together to help Alan (Rae’s brother) find out what happened to his wife, Zoey. If you read this you can find out how everything turns out...

Does Zoey come home? Is she MIA, with no information found? Will Alan find closure? Or will Zoey be found? Will Liam or Rae be harmed in their quest to find Zoey? Will anyone find love? Or will love end?

If you love Christian Suspense, like I do, you will love this book. I usually have the bad guy figured out early, but this book had me guessing almost till the end. I enjoy that!

I would definitely recommend this book.

In Don’t Keep Silent, when journalist Rae Burke’s sister-in-law, Zoey, goes missing, her brother Alan begs her to use all her investigative skills to locate his beloved wife. When the trail leads her to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Rae is reluctant to return to the scene of a previous crime. One that nearly cost her and former DEA agent, Liam McKade, their lives and did cost them their jobs. But Rae has no choice. family comes first. Once in Jackson Hole, it doesn’t take long for Rae and Liam to cross paths. As feelings are reignited, the two confront a past from which neither one has yet healed. Understanding Rae is desperate to find Zoey at whatever the cost—even her own life—Liam sets aside his distrust and once again teams up with her to solve the mystery of the missing sister-in-law. Set against the majestic backdrop of the Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole is a picture-perfect place where danger and romance seem to thrive. At least they do when Rae Burke is in town, when long buried secrets threaten to destroy everybody she cares about. Don’t Keep Silent is the third book in the Uncommon Justice series and will appeal to fans of both Romantic Suspense novels, as well as Christian fiction.

I’ve been looking forward to this one! The final book in Elizabeth Goddard’s Uncommon Justice series about three brothers in the stunning setting of the Grand Tetons in Wyoming.

Liam McKade has returned home after years away in the Marines and the DEA. He’s still on leave after his last undercover op where he blew his cover with a drug and human trafficking ring to take a bullet for investigative reporter Rae Burke. When Rae reluctantly comes to him for help, he’s not sure he can trust her after she shattered his heart. But her sister-in-law Zoey is missing, and Rae will do anything to get her back. Liam and Rae team up to dig into Zoey’s disappearance, and it leads them back in to danger- with dangerous men and in a relationship where both are afraid to hurt the other for the second time.

What a thrill ride! Right from the start you can’t wait to discover what happened to Zoey, what on earth happened in Liam and Rae’s past, and who the bad guys are. With continuous action, Don’t Keep Silent will push you to keep reading til you finish. I loved this story and this series. I enjoyed figuring out the puzzles. My only regret is I would have loved an epilogue with all three brothers to finish off the series, even if it is a little sentimental.

I discovered Elizabeth Goddard not long ago when I read the first two in the series back to back, and I’m always excited to find a new name in romantic suspense.

Thank you Elizabeth Goddard for allowing me to participate, I love your stories.

Rae Burke just received the phone call that no one wants to receive, her sister-n-law is missing. Her brother Allan, and Zoey's husband, called her to ask for her help to find her. Rae is an award winning journalist and is very good at research, he felt if any one can help find her it is Rae. But Rae figures out very quickly that she will need help. There is only one person that she would even consider contacting. But she is not sure he will be willing to help her in light of how their first encounter went.
Liam McKade just wants to melt into his ranch and work on finding peace for his life and soul once again. So when Rae shows up asking for help to find her sister-n-law, he really wants to run. He almost lost his life the first time around with her. And his heart is still not completely healed from her.
But he would rather help her than hear that something happened to her and have to live with that. So he agrees.

This was a very good story and as usual with Elizabeth's stories, I did not want to see it end.

I've enjoyed this series by Elizabeth Goddard about the McKade brothers. I do think Liam is my favorite. The second book in this set had kind of left us hanging about Liam and Rae, and this book brings their story to a satisfying conclusion.

Rae is desperate to find her missing sister-in-law, Zoe. And she is convinced without a shadow of a doubt that her brother had absolutely nothing to do with her disappearance. But the authorities aren't so sure, and it doesn't seem that they are focusing on finding Zoe. So Rae takes matters into her own hands.

Liam is her first, and most logical choice, to help her find Zoe. Together, they make an unstoppable pair.
They must, however, reach an understanding. Try to figure out what happened between them. Why things went badly. And, now, they must also decide if they are willing to risk love again.

Full of action, danger, romance, suspense, and more, this book will have you quickly turning pages, desperate to reach the end.

nvestigative reporter Rae Burke will do anything to find her missing sister-in-law, even if it means facing Liam McKade, a man who almost lost his life saving hers. A former DEA agent, Liam thought he could find peace at his Wyoming ranch, but he just doesn't feel at home anywhere anymore. When the reporter who blew his cover on an important investigation inserts herself back into his life, he's less than thrilled. But Rae's keen investigative skills have led her down the right path--and directly into the dragon's mouth--leaving Liam no choice but to protect her. As the danger increases, the past they both tried to flee catches up to them, along with the feelings they once had for each other.

This is the third book in the Uncommon Justice series. It is not necessary to read the first two books to read this one. This is the story of the third McKade brother, Liam. When his cover as a DEA agent is blown and he is injured he heads home to the family ranch in Wyoming. When he left it wasn't under the best of conditions. So he is hoping to make things right with his brothers. While there, he runs into Rae Burke. She is the reporter who blew his cover and was responsible for his injury. He wants nothing to do with her and tries to stay as far away as possible. Rae is trying to find her missing sister in law and she will do any thing to find her. Even ask Liam for help. Against his better judgement he starts to help her. What they don't know is the kind of people they are up against.

This is a book that I recommend for all those who like a good mystery. The book kept my interest the entire time.

I was given this book by Revell Publishing via NetGalley in exchange for honest review. I was not compensated in any way.

Rarely have I enjoyed a third instalment of a series more than the first book!
I’ve read all three books of the Uncommon Justice series by Elizabeth Goddard and this book by far is my favourite.
From page one to the end, readers are treated to an adrenaline rush of an experience. Rae Burke’s sister in law is missing and her investigative journalism skills are just the ones needed to find her. Liam McKade, the youngest of the McKade brothers, feels lost after an undercover op sidelined him and left him recovering from his injuries, not to mention a broken heart. When Rae’s investigation brings him to his doorstep, he has no choice but to help the woman who blew his career to smithereens.
This book has everything that makes a great suspense – conflict, conflict, conflict and a bit of more conflict that keeps piling on our heroes until it’s impossible for them to come out unscathed. There are connections galore and secrets that once revealed leave the reader surprised. And honestly, one reveal nearly floored me – I totally didn’t see it coming.
There is an evident faith thread woven throughout the novel, not just quick prayers offered up to get out of a predicament. There is genuine faith for both Rae and Liam which was kind of refreshing. It’s not preachy, but it’s there nonetheless.
We see our couples from book one and two enjoying wedded bliss which was kind of nice, but they definitely didn’t play a significant role in this book – more of a cameo appearance to let us readers know that everything worked out for the others.
A note to readers who are sensitive to certain topics – this involves human trafficking and drug dealing.
If you want a read you won’t be able to put down, this one is likely for you!

Don't Keep Silent"
By
Elizabeth Goddard

"Don't Keep Silent" by Elizabeth Goddard is the last book in the series . The series "Uncommon Justice" is about three different brothers in each book. It is a stand-alone but you might want to read in order. This isn't the first book by this author I've read. She is one of my favorite suspense writer.

The first thing that caught my eye was the book cover. It was telling me, this is a suspense book for you. While reading this book and making it to the end, I realized it had a lot of interesting thing. This book was filled with everything you could ask for in a book. It has action, adventure, suspense, murder, love and even human trafficking. Then I opened the first page and that was it I was hooked. I never wanted to put it down and I didn't want to end the book. I wanted it to continue! The author made all the characters likeable and interesting. I will gladly recommend this book to family and friends.

Another win for Elizabeth Goddard! I have read all three books in this series and they are all good. This book shares a few characters with the previous books, but does well as a stand alone novel.

The main character Rae Burke, is asked by her brother to find his missing wife. He wants her to use her investigative reporter skills to find out why she didn't come home. Rae knows that her sister-in-law, Zoey has secrets, but she would never leave her husband or their special needs daughter. Not sure who she can depend on, Rae seeks out the one man she can trust, Liam McCade, because he already saved her life once before. Liam would prefer never to see Rae Burke again. Yes, he saved her life and was injured in the process. But he thinks she blew his undercover operation and cost him his job.

When someone tries to kill Rae several times, Liam realizes she must be getting close to the truth. He decides he should protect her until Zoey is found. He just can't seem to protect his heart from his growing attraction to her.

I thought the book was well written. It has mystery, danger, bad guys, good guys, a little romance and light Christianity. I read it in one sitting. I just had to know who was responsible for taking Zoey. I will continue to read any books Elizabeth Goddard publishes.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one, but the suspense and twists kept me engaged. I really also enjoyed the description of the area in Wyoming. Sounds like a beautiful place. Only drawback is that this is not the first book in this series and I think it would be helpful if the others were read first for some clarity. It’s not a huge deal, just worth mentioning. Recommended.

I love every book by Elizabeth Goddard but the Uncommon Justice series set in the Tetons is great! Rae Burke is an excellent protagonist who is determined to find her missing sister-in-law no matter what! Former DEA agent Liam McKade can't see himself settling down to help on the family ranch in Wyoming and action seems to follow Liam! When Rae is in danger, Liam is going to protect her! You will get to drive down treacherous mountain roads and go snowmobiling, skiing and snowshoeing while trying to escape the bad guys! There is lots of action and danger in Don't Keep Silent! Rae and Liam are wonderful main characters. I recommend Don't Keep Silent to anyone who enjoys romantic suspense! I received a complimentary e-book through NetGalley. This is my honest opinion.

This book took me several chapters to full get into, but once I did I read the rest of the book in two days. (Would have been one day but darn work kept getting in the way of my reading) I did kind of forget the characters in the previous two novels, so I wish that I had went back and re read those just to job my memory. But, it was still a really good book! Enough mystery to keep me wondering but not enough to keep me from sleeping at night :), real, human, flawed characters and a love story that may or may not have brought a tear or two to my eyes.
