I loved everything about “Don’t Keep Silent” by Elizabeth Goddard. I loved the characters, the theme, and the suspense. This book hooked me from the first page and kept me hooked until the very end. It had me guessing the whole time! I could tell that Elizabeth Goddard really did her homework, because there were some very complicated things going on!

The main characters – Rae and Liam – were so likeable. And I was cheering the whole time for their relationship to work! I think another reason why I loved this book so much was that the theme was different than what I usually read. This was a fresh, new subject, which I enjoyed greatly.

I definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the good, clean, romantic suspense genre. You won’t be disappointed!

I received this book from the publisher through NetGalley for my honest opinion.

“Don’t Keep Silent”, by Elizabeth Goddard, is a continuation of the Uncommon Justice series following on from the previous two books. It focuses on Liam McKade, the last of the three brothers in this series. You don’t need to have read the other two books but I loved them so I’d recommend it!

Liam is the quiet and opaque brother. He is highly trained having been in the military and the DEA. I enjoyed being inside his head and getting his perspective on his family, the town and the investigation. He is deeply loyal and intelligent but his patience is tested when he runs into Rae Burke, the investigative reporter who used him, blew his cover and broke his heart.

Rae is passionate, determined, impulsive and scared. The combination drives her to seek Liam out, despite their history, to help her hunt for missing sister-in-law . Liam realises the only way to prevent harm coming to Rae is to help her and the two find themselves in the midst of a situation far more sinister and wide-reaching than either anticipated.

As in the previous two novels, the mystery is intriguing, complex and surprising. It kept me guessing to the end! Suspenseful, I found the pages flying by, eager to read what would happen yet. The supporting characters are well-rounded and interesting, they add substantially to the realism of the story.

Both Rae and Liam have a deep faith in God in spite of the difficult circumstances and the dark underworld they have both fought to expose.

The whole series is a delight to read if you enjoy suspense romance! I loved it, it’s a five out of five on the enJOYment scale.

This is the third book in this series by Ms. Goddard. All I can say is it will take the reader on a wild ride to the end! The book was fantastic! This is probably my favorite book by this author. The story will leave you guessing what will occur and who is behind everything. There are multiple twists and turns. In this book, readers get to know Liam better. Liam has been through a lot and is trying to figure out what his future holds. He is surprised when he sees Rae Burke again. Rae feels terrible at what happened with Liam, but would do it all over again if she had too. She needs Liam’s help, so she must try to get him to help her find her sister-in-law who is missing. Plan to read this book all the way to the finish once you start. I highly recommend this book! You will not be disappointed!

This book had me hooked from the very first pages! It was action packed and filled with courageous and selfless men and women throughout.
Rae and Liam's paths had crossed in the past, they fell in love in a past investigation, but were torn apart through circumstances that were out of their control. Now Rae is trying to find her missing sister in law and turns to Liam to help her. She knows as a past DEA agent, he has the skills to help when her investigative reporting skills might come into dangerous situations. The dangers come and the past resurfaces in ways they never expected.
My main issue with this story line was the way Rae kept placing herself in harm's way because that is what she thought her dad would have done. In one place, she thought she would end up dying before writing a big story like her dad had. Another place stated that her mom was planning to divorce her dad because he was never at home and was always placing himself in dangerous situations. I guess I just don't understand why that was what kept driving her to do dangerous things when it was not a good thing when her dad did it during her childhood.

I was hooked from the first page, “Her abductor thought that by hiding her here in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by this frozen world, she would be trapped. For the average person, that was true.”

Just when I thought I had things figured out (a little Grin) the author pulled out all the stops and goes places I never imagined she would. Revealing that, “A person would have to be completely unaware of the world around them not to understand the unimaginable evil waiting in the shadows.” Reporter, Rae Burke, Zoey, her sister-in-law (victim) and former DEA agent Liam McKade knew this all too well.

I was amazed at the depth of characterization in this mind-blowing page turner. Buckle up for an unbelievable, gripping, fast-paced, roller-coaster ride, with high-stakes It is a story of honor, forgiveness and justice with a natural spiritual thread. Author Elizabeth Goddard shines as she delivers sharply drawn characters, a vivid and beautiful back drop, and a thoroughly enjoyable unlikely hero. It’s a read you won’t soon forget and would be a great choice for your next book club pick.

HEART-STOPPING PAGE-TURNER!

Elizabeth Goddard has brought readers a true heart-stopping page-turner with her latest release DON’T KEEP SILENT (Uncommon Justice Book 3). This book is one that will keep you up way into the night! From beginning to end, Goddard takes readers straight into super fast-paced, story of forgiveness (when it is not easy or deserved), honor (that has been earned) and justice (deserved punishment).

It is the story of Investigative Reporter Rae Burke who has traveled from Denver to Wyoming in search of her missing sister-in-law. Only she is going to need the help of the one person in the world who would probably rather never see her again, former DEA agent Liam McKade. The last time Rae saw Liam, she blew his cover on an investigation years in the making and ended with him taking a bullet for meant for her. The trouble is she knows he is the best in the business. When they finally meet to discuss the situation of the missing sister-in-law, they both realize there is much more going on between them than a working situation but both are too afraid to take a risk. Soon, Goddard plunges these two characters into the depths of intrigue that will leave you breathless!

I was provided a complimentary copy of this book by Revell and NetGalley. The opinions expressed here are completely my own and without influence.

I enjoyed this romantic suspense. The setting of a winter ski resort was engaging. There was a good deal of suspense so the pace of the plot moved well. I felt the characters were developed well and there was a good balance of character thought and action.

I appreciated the red herrings sprinkled throughout the plot. I have to admit, I had my eye on the wrong guy as the villain more than once. The restoration of the relationship between Liam and Rae was done well. The initial tension between them is based on previous actions. I thought perhaps I had missed a novel in the series but the previous actions are eventually revealed in the narrative.

This is a good romantic suspense for readers who enjoy characters who have a history they must work through to renew potential romance while they try to find a missing woman and stay alive too. While there is some mention of God, the faith message is not a strong one.

I received a complimentary egalley of this book from the publisher. My comments are an independent and honest review.

Note: This is the third book in the "Uncommon Justice" series. This book is a Christian romantic suspense book. Setting a book in Colorado and Wyoming during the winter made me nostalgic for my own time spent in Jackson Hole (where I "met" my husband on a church ski trip). But there is NO way that I would be willing to attempt the skiing parts of this book. (I don't think that really is a spoiler). Actually throughout the book, it was quite clear to me that the female heroine was much braver than I could ever be!

While it could be a stand-alone, the reader might appreciate meeting the characters found in books 1 & 2. They work well together. Liam McKade was the brother that no one was sure about in the first two books in this series. Now that he gets his "own" book, we figure out why.

Rae Burke is determined to protect her family. Actually rather she is always looking out for those who cannot help themselves. This is a grand quality, but her impulsive actions do cause her to land in tricky situations. (A few times in the book, I truly was unsure that she was going to survive). She comes to understand that while she was acting on behalf of others, she also was seeking approval.

Liam is feeling a bit lost. Once Rae returns to his life, he makes it his mission to protect her. Their relationship was interrupted. Determining how to right the wrongs was definitely a challenge for both characters.

The sister-in-law who is an important part of the story was definitely clever. This novel demonstrated the fact that being skeptical of certain situations is sometimes wise. While the author dropped clues, there were quite a few sketchy situations that were not resolved until the end.

The only drawback: I would have liked an epilogue especially since this is the last book in the series. I felt like the ending was slightly abrupt. Maybe interaction between all of the characters in the other book? Otherwise I did really enjoy it. My rating is a 4.8 star.

Thank you to NetGalley and Revell Publishers for allowing me to read this book before it was released. I wanted to be able to review because I think more people should read this author's books. All opinions in this review are my own.

Don't Keep Silent, by Elizabeth Goddard, is the final tale in her Uncommon Justice series. When Rae Burke learns that her sister-in-law, Zoey, is missing, she knows she must immediately jump into action to help track her down. The first man she thinks of to help in her cause is Liam McKade. Liam is a former DEA agent, who previously helped Rae track down another missing woman. Rae knows he would definitely be up to the task!

Danger seems to be following Rae and Liam with every step they take. This is a high-energy tale that will leave you unsure of who can be trusted from the start. Don't Keep Silent will definitely have you on the edge of your seat until you reach the last page!

A tale not to be missed!

Such a riveting story.
I devoured it in a day. The plot was paced perfectly. The tension pulled me from one chapter to the next. The characters are deep and well fleshed out.

It is set in Colorado and Wyoming during the winter months so lots of snowy cold mishaps occur.
Rae is trying to help her brother find his wife, Zoey, who has gone missing. The story takes us on a journey that involves human trafficking, drugs, and money laundering. Rae enlists the help of a former DEA agent, Liam McKade. The two have a past and have to learn to leave it in the past and to focus on the task at hand. Of course working together brings back pleasant memories and force them to work through the problems from the past.

If you enjoy suspenseful, romantic stories, this one is the book for you.

DONT KEEP SILENT....Elizabeth Goddard
Liam a former DEA agent working undercover was injured while saving Rae an investigator journalist. She was writing about the trafficking of women. He was at the ranch healing from injuries, and she has come back looking for a missing sister in law. She blew his cover, and now he is back having to protect her. This was more of a suspense with the romance being the second element, which I liked. Good series by the author, slow moving, at the beginning so one gets the details of what is going on. Given ARC. by Net Galley and Revell for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

“Too many ways to die in this scenario flashed through her mind all at once.”

With action, adventure, and intense danger at every turn, author Elizabeth Goddard takes readers back to the majestic valley of Jackson Hole, Wyoming and the beautiful snow-covered Rocky Mountains, where secrets from the past never stay hidden for long. Even though Don’t Keep Silent is the third book in Elizabeth Goddard’s Uncommon Justice series, it can easily be read as a stand-alone novel.

When investigative reporter Rae Burke’s sister-in-law goes missing, she turns to former DEA agent Liam McKade to help her. Unresolved feelings from the past are the least of their problems, as attempts on their lives take a shocking turn.

Don’t Keep Silent is the perfect conclusion to the Uncommon Justice series, and fans of the McKade brothers will love the cameo appearances of Austin and Heath throughout the novel. Elizabeth Goddard’s breathtakingly beautiful descriptions of the scenery make me want to visit Wyoming and stay at the fictional Emerald M Guest Ranch. Readers will not be able to put this book down! The action and adventure keep readers captivated in the storyline as they try to piece together the clues of the puzzle along with Rae and Liam.

Don’t Keep Silent is highly recommended for readers of romantic suspense, especially those who enjoy books by authors such as Dani Pettrey, Lynette Eason, and Susan May Warren.

Don't Keep Silent has been on the top of my to be read list for 2020!

With a cover like this one I expected this to be my favorite of the series. Sadly, I was wrong. Now, don't get me wrong! I enjoyed Don't Keep Silent, I just didn't find it to be my favorite in the Uncommon Justice series.

Liam's and Rae's relationship was one that I loved following. I just didn't love the way that the suspense was carried out, and it may be that this is just me at this time, I don't know.

While in all I loved Don't Keep SIlent, I was somewhat disappointed that Liam was the only McKade brother that was in more than a couple of scenes. I had hoped to see the brothers and their spouses together.

Still, I look forward to more of Goddard's books!

Due to the crimes dealt with this book is recommended for 16/18 up.

I voluntarily received and reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

I enjoyed this last book in Elizabeth Goddard's Uncommon Justice series! I loved the character of former DEA agent Liam McKade, and wished there had been a bit more of his story! I would have loved some more flashbacks to that pivotal event in Rae' and Liam's history that's mentioned so often. Overall though, the story kept my attention for the most part. I expected more action\suspense in certain parts. I enjoyed the romance that wasn't too in-your-face. The whole "ex-boyfriend coming back to save your life" is not my favorite, but this was actually done really well.

All in all, if you love a good romantic suspense novel, check out Don't Keep Silent!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Liam is still getting over his near death experience when the person who caused him to get shot shows up again. She (Rae) has the nerve to ask for his help and against his own better judgement, he finds himself drawn to protect her once again. For Rae, it’s personal. Her sister-in-law is missing and Rae will use all of her journalistic skills to track her down, even if it puts herself in danger.

The plot is interesting and a bit complex as seemingly different strands start to converge. The characters are intense but likeable. The romance is believable. The book has a good, urgent pace. There’s a twist or two. It was hard to put down. I’d highly recommend it.

Thank you to Revell for providing me with a free copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

Don't Keep Silent is the third and final installment of the Uncommon Justice Books and was a great addition to the series. I have enjoyed all of the books that involve the McKade brothers of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Liam is a former Marine and DEA agent who was working undercover with the agency when he was injured saving Rae Burke, an investigative journalist working on a story involving trafficking women. He was working on a case to arrest the same man that Rae was investigating when Rae was put in danger and he saved her. Now, Liam is back at the family ranch, recovering and helping out his brother Heath, who has improved the ranch and turned it into a place for guests to visit and tour the wilderness in the area.
Rae Burke is thrown back into her old investigative mode when her sister in law Zoey goes missing and Rae's brother/Zoey's husband asks Rae to help find her while he stays home with their autistic young daughter. Zoey is from the Jackson Hole area where Liam is now living so Rae enlists his help because she knows that she can trust him since he saved her before. It is thought that Zoey could be in the area.
The two have an action packed time of dangerous incidents where someone is trying to let them know that they are getting too close. As the two work to get answers, their former attraction to each other is rekindled. This is a page turner with a great story full of suspense with twists and turns that kept me guessing who of the suspects are involved in this complicated mystery. I highly recommend it.

'If no one ever held his heart, then he'd never have his chest ripped open and his heart pulled out and cut to pieces.'

Elizabeth Goddard brings her Uncommon Justice series to a close with the last McKade brother's story. Liam McKade is a former DEA agent who nearly lost his life keeping investigative reporter Rae Burke safe and alive. Now he is back at his family's ranch and she shows up in town trying to find her missing sister in law.

I have been looking forward to this book and Goddard doesn't for a minute. the suspense continues throughout and I absolutely could not put it down nor discover the culprit! Goddard throws a few surprises in to keep the reader on tender hooks, too. Well written, great characters and unrelenting suspense make for a great reading time. Don't Keep Silent is the perfect finale to this great series.

'God, what path do I take?'

*My thanks to Revell Publishers for a copy of this book. The opinions here are entirely my own.

Don't Keep Silent by Elizabeth Goddard is a hunt for the truth of what happened to Zoe. The story moves and bends as the suspense keeps readers flipping through the pages. I enjoyed the fast pace of the plot. The romance was really low key too, which is the way I enjoy my romances when I 'm in the middle of a suspense novel . I don't want to be distracted by all the romance and emotions flying everywhere. Fans of Romantic suspense authors like Irene Hannon, DiAnn Mills, and Colleen Coble should pick up this novel and enjoy it.

I received a complimentary copy of Don't Keep Silent by Elizabeth Goddard from Revell Publishing, but the opinions stated are all my own.

I so enjoyed this story!
I love how Elizabeth Goddard weaves mystery into her books to keep you on the edge of your seat. Her style of writing is fantastic while at the same time the characters seem realistic and believable. ( It's what I love about her books).
Lots of twists and turns throughout the book and some of these I didn't see coming! I love guessing at the whodunit scenarios.
The supporting characters weren't well liked but that's to be expected. To me, it's what made the story so awesome!
I enjoyed Liam and Rae's story so much and I was glad to see Austin and Heath back too if only for a short while.
I really enjoyed the plot. It was interesting to see how the investigators go about their searches for missing people although some of it did send some shivers down my back. That's my favorite part of the book is learning what they do and how they do it.
I've watched a lot of shows like this but I think I'd rather read about it.
Indeed money is the root of all evil. Always has been, I think it's in how people use it.
Liam and Rae certainly have a lot to overcome but I was rooting for them through the entire story. I think that if things were meant to be God would certainly orchestrate it wouldn't He? I like to think so.
I've really enjoyed this series and I hope there's more to come. I hate saying goodbye for now.
But, I will say this this book is certainly worth the reread. I loved every minute of it and it kept me from facing whatever is going on with me right now.
I wish that I could give this book more than 5 stars because wow it was just amazing!
I highly recommend this book for everyone!
My thanks to Netgalley and Revell publishing for a wonderful story! I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions are my own.
