Little Book of Kindness by Francesco Pirrone is a lovely little book with simple but beautiful illustrations. How to teach empathy has been on my mind lately after a conversation with a psychologist about teaching empathy in med school and how the Danish teach it to children in school as they grow up. This book will be such a good addition to our little library as it shows easy ways that anybody can show kindness and compassion to the world and the people around them. I only wish that it was longer!

My 5 year old and I enjoyed this book very much. He liked it so much that he requested that I’d read it again right away. The illustrations are cute and go very well with the story and the message is easy and simple to understand. Be kind to others and other will be kind to you. We will read this book again and again!

Full of messages I want my son to learn. High contrast colors little ones will love and illustrations even adults can enjoy. This book was super cute and I would absolutely buy it and read it to my son often.

And yes, this picture book is done so incredibly well! I am so impressed. It's full of all the great things of being one of the best picture books. The art is subtle yet clear and outstanding. The words are few yet so effective and crisp. My heart is still melting. Everything about this book is perfect!

AMAZING BOOK! I love this "Little Book of Kindness" which is filled with many very important lessons for children of all ages! This is simple enough to read with little ones and profound enough to read with older children who can elaborate on ways to spread the kindness mentioned in the book. The illustrations were great too! Love it!

A random act of kindness can go a mile. This is such a beautiful pictorial book I have come across. When we were young, we were told to be kind but there were very few instances of people showing us how to be kind. Coming from a generation of being told rather than being shown as to what kindness is, this book definitely does the latter part really well. The world would be a better place if everyone could show a little bit of kindness.

This is a lovely, gentle little book. Line drawings are done mostly in black and white with a few pops of color accenting each page. In a world where conflict and strife seem to tint our every interaction, this book is a nice reminder of the simple things we can do to spread kindness.
