This is a wonderful devotional. It has a morning and evening prayer and each day has a reading from the Old Testament, New Testament and Psalms. What a wonderful way to begin and end your day. A wonderful daily devotional. I love the format. There is a scripture reading and prayer for each morning and each evening. It is easy to follow and easy to read. It only takes a few minutes to read, so it is great if you have a busy schedule! I highly recommend this book. It would make a great gift for friends and relatives!

This was a lovely compilation to start and finish the day. It was a particularly good time to read this with all the cancellations of church services. It’s also a nice way to keep God in your life daily.

A tender invitation into the power of God’s word as you start and finish your day. Old Testament, New Testament and Psalms or Proverbs readings are provided each day. The prayers for morning offer a suggested prayer that reflect upon the main themes identified in the daily reading and then the evening readings leave you with reflections to meditate upon as your final thoughts for the day. I highly recommend a journal to track your own thoughts and growth. While designed for more personal reading, I can see how this would facilitate a small group study as well. This book is a great tool to use in reading the Bible on a daily basis and read it through in one year. It tells you what scripture to read each day. There is a daily morning prayer and an evening reading. This will help you stay on track all year.
