This book was so entertaining. I was drawn into the story from the beginning and was involved until the end. The characters were complex and interesting. I found the story to be well paced and engrossing throughout the whole book. I was invested in the couple throughout the book and felt all the emotions through both the highs and lows of the story. The side characters were such an integral part of this story as well. This is the love story i needed to read at this time. If you want an entertaining and well written book this is it for you

I really enjoyed this book. I thought the rivalry and banter was so much fun. I also liked the premise of hiring someone else to speak on your behalf before meeting up. It made for some really funny and awkward scenes. Overall, I would recommend this book. I would love to hear more from Zoey and Miles.

I found this one a bit slow. Miles and Zoey are great characters, but by the time they got together I just didn't care about their relationship anymore.

This book was entertaining even if it did not contain a unique storyline. The characters were engaging and even though the readers could probably figure out the outcome of the story it was still enjoyable.

Simple the quintessential rom com enemies to lovers for the millennial age. I really enjoyed such a funny easy read and look forward to more from this author.

Cuteness overload. I love books like this. Everything was so perfect the way the book was written. I can’t wait to read more of this Author.

I really enjoyed reading this book. This is because it was such an easy read and I read it fairly quickly.

Zoe, the female protagonist is a character that you can’t help but love. It felt like you were experiencing things with her and helped you empathise with her reactions. It was really lovely to witness the development of her character, as she grew in both confidence and personality.

I would recommend this book to lovers of rom-coms and those that need a pick me up.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for letting me have an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

Dumped by his fiancée, not only is Miles couch-surfing across New York City, but downsizing has forced him to set up shop at a local café. Also, he no longer believes in love. Not a good look in his line of work…helping people find love as a ghostwriter for a failing dating site.

Thank you for the copy of Ghosting. I was intrigued by the cover and synopsis for this one. I tried to pick it up a few times, but I was not able to connect with the story line and characters. Unfortunately, it did not work for me. I'm sure that others will like it and I have seen several favorable reviews for it. Thank you again for the opportunity to read Ghosting.

Thank you to Kensington Publishing and NetGalley for my copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. I will not be sharing my thoughts/reviews outside of Netgalley in a review

This was a classic enemies to lovers romance book. I thought the plot was well conceived and executed, and the characters were interesting enough to keep me involved in the book. They were a lot more involved as people than I sometimes see in romance novels. Readers who like a slow developing, but satisfying, romance will enjoy this book. 4 stars.

Thanks to NetGalley and Kensington Publishing for the ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

DNF

I read 20% or so, but I couldn't connect to the concept. These business seemed so ludicrous to me that I couldn't get past it, nor did I connect to any of the voices or the humor.

I liked the premise of the book. Ghostwriters falling in love was a cute storyline. Unfortunately it took me a long time to get into this book, I don’t really know why. The main characters were great but I was bored easily with the storyline. Overall, it was an okay book. I do recommend this to others that like cute romances.

I received the ARC from the publisher and Netgalley for my honest review. Thank you.

This book was written by two authors, and it feels like it. There were times I was quite charmed by it, and then a chapter or two later I'd be rolling my eyes. And occasionally there would be some detail that didn't quite make sense, or something that hadn't been important before was suddenly LIFE OR DEATH CRISIS DEAL BREAKER THREAT LEVEL MIDNIGHT. I loved that the cast of characters was diverse, and that it was a love letter to both authors' hometowns (NY and LA), but the hero and heroine could both be unlikable at times without much redemption, and numbers didn't add up as to how they could each live in an expensive city on maybe $250 a week (and buy coffees and takeout dinners constantly). The Carrie Fisher-esque landlady/mentor, the tedious work emails, and the pretentious "Hotel the" provided some great moments though.

The book was billed as the retelling of Cyrano / The Shop Around the Corner / You've Got Mail, and those are some big (and wholesome) shoes to fill. So Zoey's incessant weed obsession and the sex scene that happens without much romantic lead-up will probably not be a hit with those looking for a Hallmark Channel vibe. But for a quick, light read, you could do worse.

Thanks to the publishers and NetGalley for a digital ARC for the purpose of an unbiased review.

Thank you for letting me read and review this book. Unfortunately this book was not for me. I think I have a case of pandemic reading.

I had a hard time getting through this one. Both of the characters started off getting on my nerves, especially Zoey. Enemies to lovers is my favorite trope so I had high hopes even not liking the characters initially. I found the idea of ghostwriting for a dating app interesting. Completely unique plotline for me. Zoey and Miles pretend to be matches and chat together. They start to get closer. I found this to be way too much of a slow burn. The ending was good but it just took too long to get there.

I have to come to realize that this book is just not for me. I tried picking it up many times in hopes that it would be different, but it was not. I didn't particularly care for the characters or what happened to them and ended up DNFing it.

Ghosting is a classic romcom with a 2020 twist! Perfect escapism for this messed up world! I liked both of the main characters which doesn't happen very often, and I enjoyed the journey the story took as the plot unfolded.

I received an advance copy. All thoughts are my own.
