I have read a lot of Deaver books in the past but this one wasn’t my favorite. Maybe because I hadn’t read the previous book I was a little lost in a couple of spots. I had trouble connecting to Shaw and skimmed part of the book. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

Never was a Bone Collector fan, Colton Shaw is another matter.

With so many long time writers team writing (all bad) Mr. Deaver continues to make us afraid and he uses the common to do it

Excellent read

The Colter Shaw Series Book 2
The Never Game was book 1; which I really enjoyed. I was excited to continue the series.
I am thankful to publisher for ARC.

Colter is from survivalist family, so an expert tracker. He is now a "reward seeker" helping to
solve crimes and locate missing persons.

The Never Game ending was a flip of a coin.
Decision made, he is now working locate 2 missing teens that are wanted for several reasons.
That search takes him to new and some dark places. Now, realize, that these places are real.

I enjoy this series, I am looking forward to where Colter goes next.
