What seems like a wonderful blurb caused me to go in desperate to find out what happened next. I was totally confused and ended up reading multiple parts over again to make sense of all the changes.

Apologies for the late response on this title, and apologies for clogging up an inbox on old titles.

While I am aware it's obvious, I have chosen not to read/review this title.

As always, I appreciate access to titles and look forward to the next one...which I have likely already read based on how long ago this title was published.

Thanks, again.

This one was sexy hot from beginning to end. April was in Vegas to get married when she caught her fiance cheating the night before her wedding. Not only did he leave her with the bill for the hotel room but all the charges he incurred. When she is kicked out she stumbled into her college boyfriend, Quinn, who she had broken up with and he still feels like she is the one who got away. When he discovers what happened he wants to help her and volunteers to pay off her bill. She agrees but only by offering up herself as collateral which he agrees along with sharing with his friend, Austin, for a month. What starts as a whirlwind day turns into a double wedding in two chapels when they both marry April. What will happen when her fiance comes back to claim her once more? Will Quinn and April figure out their trust issues?

This book is hot & sexy. The plot kept me interested and the characters that are likeable were you hope for a happy ending. The characters have great chemistry and the story starts out great but I did not really like the ending of April getting back together with her ex that cause so much heartache.

It was an ok story, I found it just like every other romance book. Nothing really stood out to me. Couldn't really connect with any of the characters.

This is a spicy one! If you're looking for a hot read that you won't want to put down, then pick up this book! Honestly, I was surprised how invested I was in this book, as it's not usually my first choice for genres. But overall, I really enjoyed it. The characters are well developed and the sexy scenes are well written. This would be an easy recommendation for anyone who likes a spicy read!

A steamy, erotic romance.
Great chemistry between April and the two business partners Quinn and Austin. This sort of relationship and the quirks that come with it are not my thing. Though I do enjoy this author and her stories.
It's entertaining smut and it kept me glued to my kindle.

The book was well-written and spicy. The sex scenes were fully realized and I love that they could share without it being creepy. I enjoyed the fact that for one of the throuple was a second chance romance.

Opal Carew is always a hot and enjoyable read.

Fave author. Auto buy on Amazon.

Twists and turns that Opal Carew is brilliant at penning.

Unmissable.

Erotica is one of my genres of choice and I really enjoyed this one. Sometimes eroticas don't have great storylines, but this one definitely kept my attention from the very beginning.

April is Las Vegas for her wedding but when her fiancé cheats, she is left with a huge hotel bill. She runs into her ex-boyfriend Quinn who offers to bail her out. April does want to be in his debt so she offers herself to him for a month. Quinn wants to share her with his business partner Austin and sparks are definitely flying be will she have to choose between them? Fast-paced read with loads of drama and intense steam. Great characters and a hot read.

This book didn't work for me. There were many POV changes, which just made me confused. The characters were not fully developed. The sex scenes were just ok. This book had potential but missed the mark.

The story was about what I expected. It could have been better, with a stronger plot and less annoying heroine, but the story isn't awful if taken at face value. I requested this book when I was desperate for more romances not involving monogamy, but it somehow still felt monogamous.

I honestly don't know what to say here. I think perhaps my expectations set me up for disappointment. It was just a DNF for me. I thought the premise was horrible.

Super Sexy M-F-M read that brings together college sweethearts April and Quinn. And oh, Quinns' best friend Austin. The chemistry between these three or scorching and I loved how two alpha men step in to take care of April, when she's at the lowest point in her life. Also great that April cheating ex gets his due and April, Quinn, and Austin find their HEA with each other.

This was my first book from this author. While i enjoyed the story and of course, the SMUT; this was a bit different from other adult books I've read. I haven't read many second chance books but this was good. I will definitely have to check out more of her work. I loved the drama, especially the steamy scenes, and my first ever MFM story. Will have to read more of that.

There were a few parts where i found myself skimming over but still overall was an enjoyable read. Thank you for this copy for me to read in turn for a review. I can't wait to see what interests me next!

April Smith finds herself abandoned, broke and in a serious financial predicament on her wedding day after her wealthy ex-fiancé stuck her with the entire bill for the extravaganza. As luck would have it, her ex-boyfriend from college sees her sitting forlornly outside of her hotel suite, soon to be ousted by hotel security. Quinn Taylor considers April the one that got away and decides to rescue her. However, he’s not without trust issues as he believes she left him for a wealthier prospect. He and best friend and business partner Austin Wright are now equally as prosperous and take her in. But, Quinn has some strings attached that are pretty unconventional.

This was pure erotic fantasy with a lot of romance as background. It’s a wonderful set up for a second chance romance with Quinn and Austin as pure perfection. Austin sees his role as convincing Quinn that he still has strong feelings for April and does everything he can to get him to reconnect, all while falling for April himself. It’s a really good premise for a combined relationship and delivered on the steamy aspects of the story. Where it fell short for me was how the beginnings of the threesome felt rushed, not given the time to develop and brew. And, the resolution with the ex-fiancé should have been more protracted and some potentially powerful moments were missed.

I enjoyed the concept and the steamy sessions but needed more from April and Quinn to fully buy into Quinn/April/Austin. By the end of the story, I still hadn’t figured out April and her reasons for leaving Quinn in college rang thin. And, I wanted more of a showdown with that ex-fiancé, my bloodthirsty need for justice left wanting

I received an advanced copy of the book. I felt that there could have been a little more to the storyline. It seemed a tad intense and unrealistic. Didn’t really keep my interest

It seem’s like the wait has been forever for the next full length Opal Carew novel and the wait is finally over.

Opal Carew is well known for her erotic romance novel’s and I would even dare to say that she is queen of the Erotic romance genre. She perfectly balances sex with story line and character development. So for me who has followed Opal’s work through the years I a tad bit surprised with Stroke of Luck. Now to anyone who else who has followed Opal you may have noticed that her past couple of novel’s have solely focused on a menage couple story line with no same sex play. Stroke of Luck isn’t any different. Now it would be remise of me if I didn’t mention that I long for the old day’s where it’s just filthy with all sort’s of sin going on.

But the menage storyline is not what surprised me. What surprised me was that we had what seemed like more storyline than we did sex. I ALMOST teetered off the erotic romance genre and just regular romance. The story and character development definitely took front and center in this book and it was a refreshing change.

The story start’s off with April having made a betraying discovery and the consequences of that betrayal. Only who knew her ex could be such a vindictive douche bag. It’s a stroke of luck that as she’s getting kicked out of her hotel suite, her college boyfriend is walking down the hallway. Only they didnt end on the best of terms.

When Quinn exit’s his hotel room the last person he expect’s to see is his college girlfriend in the hallway and looking so distressed. Despite her breaking his heart he stop’s to see what the commotion is. Unable to let her go through all this he offer’s to pay for the hotel room and after much begrudgement April accept’s Quinns generosity.

With no where to go and not a single dime to her name thanks to her ex fiancé she has no way to repay Quinn for his generosity but to take Quinn up on his offer. Have sex with him for a month. Then their debt is settled, but that’s not all. She also has to have sex with his best friend and business partner Austin.

Austin think’s April is beautiful and after meeting her for the first time and seeing the way she affected his friend he could immediately tell she is the one that got away. If only he could keep his own feelings out of the mix when it comes to April.

Will April come to term’s with her self worth and be able to accept a relationship with two handsome wealthy men? Will Quinn be able to trust April again with his heart to give them a second chance? Will Austin take what he want’s and live happily ever after or will he bow out to his best friend?

Well those are all question’s that you’ll need to find out when you read Stroke of Luck!

I can say I did read an ARC in exchange for an honest review and while I highly enjoyed this book I couldn’t help but feeling left with wanting more. While there was character development and storyline and sex I couldnt help but feel a lot of meat to the story was left out. it wasn’t as detailed out as I would’ve liked. It had a glossed over feel to it compared to the rest of her stories.

With that said it was still a wonderful book to read and the sexy times were classic opal sexy times. My only wish for the next book is to bring back some of the old Opal style and let’s sin it up!

I was really excited to read this and see how everything played out but I was disappointed. I don't really like when my books change perspective mid chapter. I wasn't really into the writing style or the characters. I couldn't relate well to them. I thought the sex scenes were okay nothing great.

Thank you netgalley for the ARC
