It was quite enjoyable. But some times it felt a tad too long. I got to know Jared quite alot, and my interest grew with him. But Kathleen was sometimes just there? a little annoyed about the damsel in distress thing. But she was okay.

this was a beautifully done book, the characters were great and I really enjoyed reading this novel. The cover is also beautifully done.

A long story but definitely worth the read. When you get to last page you will be wanting more - 400+ pages is not nearly enough!!

This is a bedtime story

The main plot points were interesting, but unfortunately I didn’t really enjoy the book that much.

The characters fell short, their personalities were not consistent and the conversations were period inappropriate, I’m not even sure what’s the period.

Too much was happening and there were too many characters.
And some cliche plot points.

This is book one and it ends with a hanger.
