I received an arc of this book a while ago and I decided to give it a read today. Sadly, I could not bring myself to finish this book, but I read enough to know that I hate it. The writing style is just so bad and repetitive. I didn't know if the author was actively trying to ingrain information in my head or if said details weren't edited out before publishing the book. I was confused by the 5 star reviews on Goodreads and am now convinced that those people probably didn't read the same book I did.

a story about a young boy who suddenly finds himself in a foreign land not in this world. He has to help them and find a way back home. He has to face some dangerous adventures. Easy to real, full of fantasy.

Absolutely brilliant a true adventure, a story of friendship, hardship and darkness. It had me gripped. A must read. Recommended. 5 stars
