First of all I didn't realize this was the third book in a series until after I already had it in my possession. No worries though I bought the first two so that I could read them all in succession.

I was able to binge read the three books that are currently in this series and wow. This series is definitely something and I hope that this author continues it for more books. That being said, I felt like this book was the weakest out of all the books from this collection. Unlike the first two books it just felt a little flat for me. You could see the romance build but there was no real chemistry bursting off the page for me. In addition, Gillian Archer, chose to highlight Sabrina's relationship and to me it would've been better if she finished the other two brothers romances then did two novels about Sabrina and her moms relationship. Overall I'm excited to read the next book which I'm hoping focuses on Nathan.

This is a second chance romance with a wounded hero, some angst, a little wit, and some very HAWT times. This couple sizzled across the pages. The pacing was perfect, the story moving constantly and the addition of amazing secondary characters added to its charm.

I absolutely love this series! I’ve been waiting for Sabrina’s story and I was not disappointed.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

While this is the third book in a series, I found it pretty easy to read as a stand alone. The only event that was mentioned a few times probably was a major event in a previous book but not too important to Sabrina and Logan's story.

I loved that Logan finally woke up and realized that maybe talking to a "shrink" could be helpful and maybe he could get back to a somewhat normal life.

Logan and Sabrina had quite a road to a HEA with their history of him running and ghosting her and a big secret that Sabrina is not sure that Logan can handle. Mix in Sabrina finds out that her "dead" father is not really dead and you have non-stop drama. And Wow, those brothers are quite a handful! They make the book funny but I can see how Sabrina would just go crazy having that in her life!

I enjoyed this family and looking forward to reading more about them - hope Maddie finds her HEA!

A Bad Boy's Second Chance Romance (Burns Brothers Book 3)

📚💕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💕📚

OMG what a deep read!

In the third book in A Bad Boy's Second Chance Romance we have Logan and Sabrina’s love story.

What a rocky start these two had, but what a beautiful story it is.

The writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shocking moments. I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

Authors Blurb: Sabrina
He was a charming S.O.B. when I dated him two years ago, but the Logan Carter who arrives at Bad@ss Builds is a shadow of the one I knew. This Logan is surly, bitter, and scarred evidence of the fire he survived marked him both inside and out.

Does he really not remember me?

Logan
I’m upright and functioning. Isn’t that enough? I shouldn’t even be alive. And I definitely don’t have time for the bubbly, gorgeous woman from my past who can do better than me.
No matter how much I wish I could be the man she remembers.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

I've enjoyed each book in this series and Spark was everything I was looking forward to. Logan is tortured from guilt, from physical and emotional scars. He and Sabrina were so into each other before the accident that changed his life. His withdrawal from ever aspect of his life left much unfinished business especially with Sabrina. Now business has brought them back together and he doesn't know how to handle it. So he does the worst thing he can. Ignore her!

Sabrina has gone on with her life but seeing Logan just reminds her of all pain of his leaving. She tried so hard to reach him after she learned he was badly hurt. And her feelings for him linger.

It was heartwarming to see these two find their way back to each other. They care so deeply and are meant to be together. Of course, it's not easy. There's plenty of poorly dealt with emotions to give the story strife and keep the reader wondering and engaged.

All this is a lot to deal with but there's so much more going on. Sabrina learns her father isn't really dead which adds tons more emotional stress AND her cousin/brother's father isn't done with trying to get something out of them either which ensnares Sabrina too. It's a wonder she can deal with everything happening at once. Oh, and a potential career change.

With all this happening, this book is a really good way to spend a few hours.

Archer reeled me in with a heartbreaker of a bad boy and a spitfire of a heroine. Spark is all kinds of combustible. Sabrina and Logan bounce flames of of each other that will easily set the heart on fire. Logan is a wounded alpha with the scars to prove it. He has quite a bit to answer for when it comes to his previous behavior told Sabrina. Sabrina offered him her heart, but received nothing in return. Fast forward two years and one almost tragedy and Logan comes face to face with his unpleasant past. Could he have finally gotten the message when it comes to life and pride? Step into a world where the temperature rises with ever page you turn. Spark pushes buttons when it comes to emotions and scored a perfect 10.

Spark is just as hot as the first two books in the Burns Brothers series. Gillian has taken their stories to a whole new level, this time not only full of romance, suspense, a hunky leading man, add in cute puppies, and we have a winner.
Logan has a lot of bitterness stored up and believes Sabrina could and should find someone better. Sabrina loves Logan even with misunderstandings over the past couple of years, she still can’t get him out of her mind, or her heart.
This book was a feel good story and definitely captivated my attention from beginning to end.

*ARC kindly provided via NetGalley. This is my honest opinion.*

This is my first book from the author. I can’t believe that I haven’t met the Burns Brothers before now. I’m definitely changing that soon! This can be read as a standalone, so don’t worry if you haven’t read the previous book; you’ll be able to keep up just fine.

Sabrina works as an accountant for the Burns brothers. They are really her cousins but since they grew up together, they are more like annoying older brothers. Her life is simple without much drama. Everything changes when her ex-boyfriend, Logan, shows up again. Logan is an ex-firefighter. Two years ago, he was injured in a wildfire and he never been the same again. He’s scarred both physically and mentally. What he’s been doing the past 2 years is pushing people away.

Their first encounter after all this time is horrible. Logan acts like he doesn’t recognize her, and Sabrina is really mad about that. Logan has too many things to work through and he’s reluctant to let people in. Throughout the book, they slowly heal each other. Sabrina is a silent supporter to his struggles and he’s someone she leans on while going through some personal things.

You can fell the emotions in the book. The chemistry between Logan and Sabrina is palpable, but so is the hurt and the frustration. Life isn’t easy…However, the message that the story left me with, is that everything will work out eventually when you have people that love you by your side!!!

I liked Sabrina and Logan story so much. It got puppies and actual conversation between the characters to clear the misunderstandings, yes!

Spark by Gillian Archer is book Three in the Burns Brothers Series. This is the story of Logan and Sabrina. I did feel this could be a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Logan and Sabrina had dated for a few months a few years ago but he went off on assignment for a fire and he ended up not talking again. Of course Sabrina was hurt by this. Now in their present day Sabrina is helping out her brothers at their bike shop when Logan walks back into her life. Logan isn't the same man she once knew. Logan isn't the same confident somewhat cocky man he used to be, now he is scared on the inside and outside. Logan doesn't feel worthy of Sabrina so at first he tries to brush her off, but this is their second chance at love.

A good, solid HEA with a wounded hero & heroine. Their situation was realistic and characters relatable. Definitely looking forward to Nathan’s story!

I have been a fan of Gillian Archer for a long time, so I was extremely exited when I got a copy through NetGalley of her latest creation, in exchange for a review, which I am happy to provide. I was hooked right from the beginning and enjoyed the chemistry between our love birds. Even though this is the 3rd book in the series you won't feel lost reading it out of order, but I would recommend you get to know all the Burn Brothers. The storyline moved along at a nice pace, and it was very entertaining with some smoldering love scenes. Can't wait to see what will happen next.

Spark is not what I expected...but in a good way. I can honestly say nothing but his new behavior makes Logan a bad boy. Rowdy and naughty, yes, but not a bad boy.

Spark is a second chance romance. Lo and Sabrina have history. They have mountains of issues and some things to get off their chests but in the end even you will be happy with the results.

Also, go Maddie for starting something (I'm positive) will end very well for her!

Archer continues the Burns brothers series with another stimulating romance! The characters evolve as the story unfolds & the reader enjoys becoming wrapped up in the larger family drama that surrounds the protagonists. I was equally interested in all the relationships of the family, and it makes for a compelling series, complete with passionate romance, lifelong friendships, & intrigue.

WE have a second chance love story between Logan and Sabrina, after getting together for two wonderful months, Sabrina really felt something for Logan, but he ghosted her when she came back and wanted nothing to do with her. Years later he comes to her place of work to install something and comes face to face with her but played it like he had no clue who she was which broke her heart, reopened the heartbreak, on top of that she finds her mother arguing with this man who she comes to find out is her daddy, who she thought was dead because her mother told her..Story was ok, we find out that Logan suffered in a burn unit and I kind wanted to know more about, instated of him feeling like he owed everybody, when whom he really owed something to was Sabrina, yet when he finds out he handled it wrong, However when Sabrina is in danger he comes thru.

Lots of angst, lots of drama, lots of steam. It took me a little while to warm up to Sabrina. Even though I loved her interaction with her brothers, I felt her reactions to ‘bad news’ a bit immature and selfish. Maybe because of her age? Logan was a typical tortured, angsty hero. Even though he was described as being physically scarred with burns, this story thread didn’t seem to be as developed as his emotional trauma.

I'm still on the fence with my rating for this book. I kinda want to give it a 2.5. Overall, the plot was good but it was the writing and execution I had a problem with. Some of the writing in the scenes felt juvenile and there were times when things got way too dramatic when it was unnecessary. Like, a character would blow up so much that it seems like a teenager would do, not an adult. It came to a point where I had to take breaks reading this book because I got so annoyed by how the characters responded to certain situations.

The story began showing the intense attraction Logan and Sabrina had for one another. When he left to fight wildfires, it changed everything for him as well as her.

He lost one of his best friends in the fire and began pushing those who truly loved and were loyal to him away. When he was reunited with Sabrina two years later, he didn’t know how to accept the fact their feelings were still present. Sabrina was also keeping a secret from Logan. She didn't think he was in the right place mentally for her to share.

One thing, I didn’t understand how Sabrina could get mad at her brothers for telling her business but forgave her friend Hope without a second thought.

Overall, this was a great story. I would recommend adding this to your reading list.

I received a free copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Although I hadn't read the first two parts of the Burns Brothers, I was able to pick up the story of Logan and Sabrina very easy. Sabrina and Logan had a relation a few years ago, until Logan walked out on Sabrina and she never heard from him again. But now he is back in town. Only scarred for life and not only on the outside.
And although Sabrina may not be happy with him, her brothers on Bad@ss Builds need him to ensure they can continue their work.
While Logan is working at Bad@ss Builds, he sees how Sabrina is struggling with her big brothers and the fame of their television show. But he doesn't want to let Sabrina near his heart again, because he broke her heart the last time when he didn't want her to see the scars he got from his accident.
But when Logan finds out that maybe he is not the only one scarred, he may have to rethink his attitude.
A tragic, wonderful read. With lots of family banter and funny stories. And a spark, which may turn into a fire. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc. And I will be going back fo the other Burns Brothers stories!
