Of the three books in the series, this was the best. I found the practical advice of breathing and reconnecting a good reminder for children and adults.

I continue to have an issue with the presentation that this secret causes animals to do what they naturally do. I understand it is meant as an analogy. It falls flat for me.

The illustrations are lovely and vibrant. They draw the reader into the story well.

I would highly recommend this series. This was a great story for any reader. The digital version didn't show the picture very well but what the readers would gain was insightful and fun!

Think Big has such a positive message and illustrates a wonderful picture in your head. I read this to my 8 year old and while I fully understood the message, I believe that my daughter did not until I explained it to her in more depth. It is a good short story and we really enjoyed the characters, especially Giraffe!

These critters are on an adventure. There's danger - fire. There's teamwork, and believing you can make it through. It has lovely illustrations, nice art. It's a positive book in a currently negative world that I think most kids would really enjoy this story. While it might be a little scary to some, that's realistic and more like kids books of days of old, and thus I like that aspect.

Thanks to Net Galley for my copy of this book. This review is mine, left of my own volition.

As with the other Kat Kronenberg books, this one has beautiful details in both the pictures and words. My son and I enjoyed reading this one together. Thanks to the publisher for a copy of this book in exchange for my opinion.

This was cute book for children of all ages. The pictures was great and the story was too. I would recommened this for Library and Home Library too.

I enjoyed this book more than the second one in the series. Some of the phrases for kids to "Think Big" seemed a little off, but the last one "I can be the best me" is important for kids and I think the book portrays that message.

I was invited to read the award-winning Live Big series created for children by Kat Kronenberg and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Think Big is the last book in the trilogy. It seems to be written for older children, as it has sections that small children could not do.

There are activities such as writing who they are, their gifts, goals, and passions; creating a family tree, and learning to be generous with not only those on the tree, but with community regarding safety, food and water, medicine. They are then to consider how blessed we all are, no matter our circumstances. This, too would be a wonderful book for slightly older children.

What made The Grumpy Book Reviewer grumpy? Not a thing!

The third book in the series. Moody Baboon challenges Kudo on what to do. Then things begin to change. As with the other books, Baboon learns a valuable lesson about caring and encouragement and learning to think for himself.

This is a fable involving African animals learning how to become their best selves. And by doing so, whether it's gathering food or saving others from a fire, they evolve into the creatures that we know today. And they share ways of being a great person (or animal in this case). The pictures are lively and colorful, which is attractive to the reader. But I had a really hard time with the giraffe, because in the beginning, he has no neck. I understand the story, that he evolves to growing the long neck to be helpful in getting food for the other animals, but that picture really bugged me for some reason. I know that the kudu also ends up changing its appearance, but honestly was not as familiar with that animal before this book. I think children are also going to question what is wrong with the giraffe's neck, because it reminds me more of a cow or something, instead.

I did like how the author included factual tidbits about each of the animals, such as the dance that bees use to communicate with each other about where to find flowers.

At the end of the book are several activities that children can do to re-engage them with the book as they go on hunts or interpret some of the information differently. Plus they can practice ways of living to the best of their abilities, using the Think Big ideas.

Thank you to the publisher for fulfilling my review request via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I continue to love the illustrations in these books. So bright and colorful. It was a sweet story with a good moral/lesson. It just did not hold my childrens attention as much.

It's a little bit too overtly preachy with many many characters. It would be difficult for a child to follow.

This is such a wonderful story to encourage children to believe in themselves and others. It is a great self esteem helper to encourage children the power they have if they try and never give up. It uses African animals to bring this story to life in a way that children can enjoy.

Use this in your study on Africa or animals or onomatopoeias to add character building to a lesson.

This is my honest review for this Netgalley copy.

This is the second book that I read by Kat Kronenberg. I absolutely loved her first book in this series, Dream Big, but this book not so much. The illustrations are gorgeous in this book and I loved that, but the story just did not appeal to me the way the first book did. I still have the second book in the series to read Love Big and I'm hoping to that Love Big will be more on par with Dream Big. I received this book from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for a honest review.

The third installment of the Live Big Series continues to guide us with advice on how to manage stressful situations and to never give up! This book talks about sticking your neck out for others, being grateful, and striving to be extraordinary, I love the message that we can all do good and should strive to believe in ourselves and others. Love the bonus "notes" at the end too!

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC of this book.

I was able to figure out how to read this book and the two others in this series. I had to read it on my Nook tablet through the Kindle app. It was still too small to read even with my glasses and I had to use a magnifying glass to actually read the words. It was an ok book but it seemed a lot preachy. I loved the illustrations, they were amazingly beautiful. The story seemed too cutesy for how wonderful the pictures were. It just didn't seem to go along.

I received an ARC of this book through NetGalley, thank you very much!! I read it to my grandchildren ages 9, 5, and 33 They did enjoy it, and it kept them interested and questioning which is great. The illustrations and cover are beautiful. The story wasa fable with positive messages, teaching youngsters tobe kind, so you can keep and develop friendships that last. Then it goes on to show why and how these friendships are necessary in a community, as the whole group has to come together to solve problems. It also sends the message to be positive and happy as these help you to trust yourself under hard circumstances. Quite enjoyable. Thanks I posted my reviews on my Goodreads , also my Amazon pages.

This series of books is about encouraging good behavior, believing in yourself and sharing with others which is all things children need to learn. The illustrations were beautiful in these books.
I received a copy from netgalley and the publisher and I appreciate it. This is my own opinion.

Think Big is a story of learning to believe in your own abilities. The animals in this story didn’t think they could achieve their goals, but when they believed in themselves, they were able to do more than they ever thought. A fun read for kids and parents to share and talk about.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Better than the last, I suppose, but still not great in my opinion. The animals this time learned to “think big” and strive to be their best and help others, which is a great message for kids. However, in this situation, the animals were trying to escape a wildfire, and the baobab tree sacrificed its trunk for their shelter, but in the end the rain came and put the fire out - it was nothing the animals really did to survive for if the rains hadn’t come they would’ve cooked! But I might be over analyzing it.

Still, I do love the illustrations, so they do have that going for them.
