These short stories all include romance and some horror. I found the stories to not be very scary. Overall I enjoyed this book.

A short collection of cosy paranormal romances. I had expected a bit more of a chill factor, but I read a lot of horror and possibly my expectations were too high. There's nothing here that kept me awake at night, but they passed the time nicely enough..

Thank you to NetGalley and to the publisher for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

A good book for those who like horror stories that are not too scary. Just some lonely night creatures looking for love. I liked the last one of a little vampire looking for a family. Such a sweet child...not.

Thank you NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for the eARC.
Unfortunately, I didn't like any of the stories, they were a bit amateurish and I did not engage with the characters or the tales themselves. Sorry.

The author of this book was attempting to explain through a series of dark romances that our perceptions of love are a projection of our darker selves. I liked this approach to the genre, however the author didn't go far enough with it. Even though this was a short anthology, the characters were underdeveloped making it difficult to understand their perspectives and motivations. The stories overall were boring and predictable. It needed to be darker, because for me, the stories were a bit corny and the romances dull.

Let the reader know more about the characters and up the creepiness factor.
