Accidentally Family by Sasha Summers, published by Entangled Publishing LLC is a wonderful read. Accidentally Family is a full length, stand-alone and tells the stories of two families, their loves, their heart breaks, their mournings and their healings and finding love again.
There are Felicity and her teenage kids, Graham and his daughter and not the main characters but they had me in knots Felicity ex's new family.
Accidentally family is a story that stays with me. I read the book some time ago, but I can't get it out of my head, it stubbornly stays with me. It's an excellent written story, complex, fast paced, emotional and had me teary eyed more than one time. My heart was hurting for the maincharacters, all of them.
I recommend the book.

I want to live in Pecan Valley!

Felicity Otto-Buchanan thought Matt Buchanan, her ex-husband had missed their daughter’s graduation like he had missed so many of their kids activities but finding out about the car accident was more than she wanted to deal with but when he died along with his new girlfriend that he left her for leaving her to raise their little boy. Dr. Graham Murphy had let his friendship with Felicity’s family go by the wayside after his wife died and he was left to raise their daughter but raising an angry teenage girl was beyond his capabilities.

Graham and Felicity decide to help each other out figure out how to deal with their families and everything with raising kids and they figure out that they aren’t to old to fall in love again even when some of their family doesn’t agree.

I loved Accidentally Family because it is makes it is the perfect friends-to-lovers romance and it leads to more stories about all the people that live in Pecan Valley. I hope the first book is about Charity and Braden!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Sasha Summers takes the Friends-To-Lovers trope to the next level in Accidentally Family. Told in multiple POVs, Felicity and Graham find themselves coping with what life (and death) hurls at them. Second chances and redemption are key themes weaving throughout, as well as teen angst/coming-of-age moments that are all to real. If you're looking for a comfort read with the right combo of heartache for our stay-at-home times, this is a must! Summers is a go-to for hard earned Romances, but it's also the women's journeys readers will stay for, eagerly awaiting the next title in this series

A wonderful story of friendship, family, and love.

The story is told from six alternating points of view which seemed daunting at first. However, they all fit together pretty seamlessly and I think it was necessary for the reader to understand what everyone is going through.

The events of the plot are set in motion when Matt and his fiance Amber die in a car accident leaving behind their very young son. Matt was previously married to Felicity, but cheated on her with Amber. He and Felicity are parents to Nick and Honor who are dealing with anger and sadness over his actions. Charity, Felicity's sister has returned to town, too. Finally, Graham was Matt's partner in a doctor's office and he is dealing with rebuilding his relationship with his daughter Diana.

This was an emotional and at times heartbreaking read. I really felt for what each of the characters was going through in the aftermath of Matt's death. Even though there was sadness and grief, there was hope, happiness, and unconditional love too. The book also ends nicely, but does leave a number of story threads open. I am looking forward to the next book to see what happens with these characters.

Felicity is a divorced mom with two kids. On the night of her daughter's high school graduation they receive a phone call that her ex husband and his girlfriend and child had a car accident. The girlfriend has died, ex husband is going on to surgery, and the child is in ICU. As the kids father goes in to surgery he makes a plea to Felicity. Graham who was her husband's partner in their medical practice is at the hospital that night. He has never understood why his friend left his family and has not done right by his kids. Graham offers to help them any way he can. He is a single day after his wife died and he has many trials with his own daughter. Will they be able to help each othe through these trying times? This is a story of heartbreak, compassion, and real life problems. It shows family's can be made up many different ways. Thank you for allowing me to read and review this book in Net Galley.

This was a great read. Loved Felicity and Graham and how they found love out of hardship and friendship. I also liked the sub stories of the kids as well. Really wanted it to go on.

Oh my, this book came out of nowhere and hit me in the feels. I couldn't put it down.
From the first page all the way till the end I was invested in this accidental family.

Felicity is the one who holds her family together ever since her ex-husband walked out on their family.
Graham was her husband former business partner and her best friends husband, while her marriage was falling apart his wife was dying.
Now their back in each other life after another loss. They find themselves slowly leaning on one another. and realizing they might just want to be more than friends. Of course, there are a lot of complications they have to navigate. But it is a start to a new beginning.

I hope the author has plans for more books in this series. I want more from all of these characters. Braden and Charity. Owen and Honor. Nick. Diana.

Now I need to go pre-order a copy of this book! Read it, I think you'll like it!

I tried so hard. I got to chapter 6 before I gave up. Everything is just a hot ass mess. The author DRAGS the dialog. She just drags to the point you don't even remember the main reason the characters were talking in the first place.
It's just a no for me dawg.

An enjoyable and heart-tugging tale about the hard choices we make in love and life when children are involved, and how no matter how well you choose, the outcome is not always in your control. The realistic conflicts caught and held my attention until the end.

Accidental Family by Sasha Summers a heart-warming five-star read. This was my first read by this author, but I really enjoyed the style of writing and will be going back to read more. This was such a multi-layered story; each character plays a different part of the story and adds a different aspect. Felicity could have been worn down and despaired, but she was not, she was so much more, anyone else in her situation would be. But she wasn’t the character that I felt most for in this story, that honour went to Nick, he left me in wonder, I am hopeful that we will hear more from this accidental family, as there is so much more I would love to hear.

Absolutely loved this book! Felicity and her two children are abandoned by her ex husband Matt, when he has an affair and forgets his kids.
He is then in a car accident and he and his girlfriend are killed leaving only his orphaned child with no family.
Dr Murphy was Matt’s best friend, he is at the hospital when the accident all plays out and sees Felicity for the first time again in years.
There are so many character lines, I see so many spin off books!! Yea, I hope!!

Wonderful job,

This is the first time I have read this author and I really enjoyed reading this book. The story is about Felicity, her daughter Honor and son NIck. Getting called to the hospital by her ex-husband Nick happens right after Honor's high school graduation. Nick has a child with Amber. They are in a car accident , Amber dies. Matt makes it to surgery but doesn't make it. Prior to surgery he makes her promise to take Jack and raise him. This is a very unusual story and is a good story.. a GOOD READ. There are more characters involved and really make the story.

I loved this amazing, page turner story. It's a book filled with emotion, challenges and may leave you wondering what you would do in such circumstances.

Felicity is divorced, raising her teenagers on her own. Her husband Matt, left her for a younger woman who was pregnant with his child, they never married. Graham is a widowed single dad, who is struggling to raise his teenage daughter who is rebellious as they come. Graham is also a friend of the ex husband and while Felicity and the ex were married they were friends socially as well. Felicity has two great kids, her 16 yr old son hates his father while the older daughter who just graduates from high school as the book opens is a little softer toward the dad. Graduation day changes everything for these two families when the ex is involved in a serious automobile accident along with the mother and toddler aged child. Graham is on duty at the hospital where the ex also worked. Matt is still in the ED waiting to see his family before he goes to the OR for surgery and has one request for Felicity. This kicks off the story, with a complete cast of characters you will grow to love (like Braden)- ahem.
Filly's sister Honor who has taken up residence in Filly's house and has her own story. It's spellbinding, twisty, turns on a dime and I loved every single minute. The characters are real people, you grow to like them, the writer pulls you right into the story and gets you invested in it. The writing is stellar, the plot is seamless and I can't wait for the next book from the author. This was my first read from her and one amazing read.
Welcome to Pecan Valley!

5 easy stars and my applause to Sasha for a beautiful, well done story! Thank you!

Accidentally Family is emotional, filled with hope/hate/pain, incredible characters, teenagers dealing with real life events and so much more!

You will fall in love with this Pecan Valley Novel. Each character carries pain in their own way.

Felicity..... Sight. I wish I was her! She's an incredible mom and puts her kids first, always. But has so much heartache and pain....but despite it all, she looks out for those in her care.

Then there's Graham. Has his own issues with his daughter, who thinks he hates her and wants her to go away....

I enjoyed the children so much! It was like living in an actual home-seeing/reading real-life like problems they are facing as an entire family. So very well written!!

If you're looking for a sweet read- trust me, you need to grab this book.

And I have to say, I hope there's more books in this series---because I'm not done reading/seeing about the secondary characters that I've come to love!

4 stars from me.

Thank you to Entangled Publishing in giving me an early copy in exchange for an honest review.

4.5 stars.
So emotional and beautifully written!
“Accidentally Family”, by Sasha Summers (Entangled: Amara), is a wonderful story about hope and second chances, new beginnings and new families, with surprisingly realistic characters going through some hard experiences.
I was so invested in this romance novel I read it in one setting. The honesty and kindness between the romantic couple and almost all characters moved me. Even the more nasty characters show some sort of redemptive traits in the end.
There are some heartbreaking moments with baby Jack.
There’s no far-fetched drama, no plastic characters, no instant sex; just people trying to rebuild their lives after fate threw them a curve ball.
Besides the main couple, there are other couples/characters fully deserving their own story.

Felicity becomes the guardian of her ex-husband's toddler while her own children are grappling with their father"s and stepmother's demise. Accidentally Family is a charming read. It's about healing, opening up for emotions, and embracing people who yearn to belong. My favorite scenes were between Owen and Honor. Those sizzled with intensity. Everyone found a place to park their heart which was immensely satisfying.

This book should be on the best seller list. I loved it. What a heartfelt book! I laughed and cried so many times. I felt the betrayal. I felt the loss. This book has it all. Great job, Sasha Summers.

It's a pretty emotional book on dealing with betrayal and trying to cope with your new life after some serious changes. We meet Felicity whose husband leaves her for someone younger and now she is raising her children alone and then taking on your ex's child, she was good. Her husband former bestie Graham is now also tryiing to cope raising his daughter who is having issues dealing with her moms death. lots of feels my friends.

This was a touching story about a rather saintly woman, Felicity, whose husband left her for a younger woman. She’s raising her teenage children when she suddenly has to take in the injured toddler son of her ex-husband. Meanwhile, her husband’s former best friend, Graham, is having trouble coping with his troubled daughter after his wife’s death. Isn’t it lucky that he meets up with Felicity who, on top of all her other challenges, kindly helps out with Graham’s daughter.

It’s a sad story as all the teenagers have a lot to deal with and the two single parents struggle to see if romance can bloom in the wake of tragedy.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.
