Michelle O'Leary is one of my favorite authors, so I was so excited to find that she has a new release, and this short story did not disappoint! At Sun's Rising takes place in the world of the Sunscapes trilogy. Although it can be read as a stand-alone, a reader who has read the trilogy would understand the background of the characters and probably enjoy it more. Even so, the author does a fine job at describing the world and setting. The characters are well-developed for a short book. There is a nice balance between the plot, suspense, and the romance, however, the romance is still central to the plot, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

I DEVOURED this book! I have been hurting for some really spectacular space-y romance, and this delivered on literally every level I could have asked for. Beautifully written and consuming, this book is already one of my favorites of the year. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!
