GOD CALLS YOU WORTHY was sent to me, free of charge by Net Galley, in exchange for my honest review.

Written by Margot Starbucks and published by Barbour Publishing, GOD CALLS YOU WORTHY is a book of “180 Devotions and Prayers to Inspire Your Soul”. It is a well-written Christian devotional.

I pulled one quote from the book that really touched my soul, and I believe it will yours, also.

“The enemy says, ‘You’re not really worth knowing. You’re not really worth loving.’

God says, ‘I paid a huge price for you…! That’s how much you mean to Me! That’s how much I love you!’”

I just love this!! Jesus loved us so much that He died for us. For that reason we can tell Satan to HUSH!

Each day you will find a TITLE, a VERSE, a DEVOTION, and a PRAYER.

I love that the devotion is short, so there is no excuse to not spend a few minutes, each day, reading and meditating on God’s Word.

Then, at the end, is a Scripture Index.

I would recommend this for you to read or as a gift. It is a very nice devotional.

This is a beautiful devotional. The artwork on each page is stunning.

Each page offers a new topic for consideration with an associated Bible verse. The discussion and prayers for each verse tie each devotional together beautifully.

I loved Made for a Purpose:
"The word of the LORD came to me, saying, "Before I formed you in the womb I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
Jeremiah 1:4-5"

I received an ARC from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

This devotional is such an inspiration!
Each day, for 180 days, you read one very short paragraph, as well as an applicable Bible verse, and a short prayer. While each reading recognizes our human flaws and inabilities, it is actually very encouraging in making sure we as women take time to recognize God's almighty power, grace, and forgiveness. It reminds us (as the title implies) that we *are* worthy to be called Daughters of the Most High King! It cover topics from fear to commitment; from identity to gratitude. No matter where you are in life, or what you're feeling, this book will touch your heart!
This devotional would definitely be a blessing to all women, regardless of age or place in life.
*Thank you to NetGalley and Barbour Publishing for providing me with a copy for review! I was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own.

A great book.

First, I had a problem with the title though. The Biblical teaching is that we're not worthy, but rather, it is Christ Jesus who makes us worthy through His love and grace unto us.

Nonetheless, these devotionals are timely as it helps us learn the various deeds God has done to us, how He views us currently as His children, and the tremendous promises He has given us.

This book will therefore enable us to treasure God more as we learn more of Who He is, and what He has done, is doing, and will do for us His people, and thus will be of great help in our maturity and sanctification to the praise and glory of God, and the good of us His children.

Highly recommend the book.

This book is a reminder of how worthy we are in God's eyes. The book seems designed to help the reader change their internal dialogue to a more positive one. Each of the readings follows the same format: verse, devotional, and prayer. Short and to the point, all the while giving the reader something to consider. If you enjoy devotional books, this is one to check out.

Boldly and courageously walk in the truth of what He has called you; worthy. A very simple format with deeply powerful messages to transform your internal dialogues. There are 180 readings: a verse followed by a devotional thought with relevancy to today’s culture (not more than a paragraph) and then a prayer (usually just a few sentences) that cuts straight to the heart of the matter. I appreciated the concise writings but relished the pure and simple Truths offered. My heart was blessed and encouraged, and I know that I will return to this devotional often.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions offered are my own and freely given.
