The author's painstaking research and attention to detail is obvious in the writing of this book. The author laid out the information in a manner that allowed the reader to form their own opinion on whether or not to follow the advice presented.

I really enjoyed this short book. Tim Keller has a way with words that is very deep and you have to read it a few times to get a deeper understanding and pause for moments of reflection. Like all of Tim’s book, it was really great in giving another perspective on a topic that we might hear about again and again, but somehow when Tim explains it, its so much clearer and meaningful.

This book is incredibly practical, short, but has all the right focuses in the right places. As a newlywed and pastor’s wife, this is a book I would easily adopt for premarital counseling because it’s a short book with lots of wisdom that is easy to read. Not everyone wants to read a full length book or can even commit to that, yet this short book is packed with biblical wisdom that is a great starting point for conversations and counseling. It also can easily be read in one sitting if one desired.

Thank you Net Galley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my review!

This is a perfect short guide for young people preparing to get married. It can easily be read in an hour or so and could be shared as a couple. A lot of quick tips, reminders, and advice for a long and happy marriage. Interestingly, there is a lot of focus on the importance sex in this book.
