I think that after the previous books this one was my favorite. Della was saved from an abusive marriage from her brother Arlo-though you cant really say saved because the poor girl really suffered. I was so proud of Della having come from such horrible circumstances she picks herself up and decides she is moving on she was going to start a new chapter. Here comes Tucker, now Della has had a crush on him for about a year and since he is her brothers best friend she knows she is off limits since he treats her like a little sister, but Tucker is seeing her as so much more..They start a secret affair that ends up blowing up in Tuckers face and he regrets what he tell Della to do..I wont tell you more I hoped I piqued you interest..

This is the third book in the series and another winner. I had a hard time putting this one down. I loved Della and Tucker a lot. Tucker is going to make you swoon. Della is an inspiring character. She has gone through the ringer, but she is gaining the sense of her true self worth. That was a beautiful thing to watch. I just love the people of Credence. The elderly people where Della works are a hoot. They had me in stitches with their humor. Tucker and Della together are so sweet. It makes you hope they can see what is right in front of them before they let it slip through their fingers. This book has left me hoping there is more to come in this small town. I love this series and I would highly recommend this book. It's going to make you laugh, cry, and happy sigh. It's one that pulls at all the emotions.

I love being back in Credence. This is such a cute series. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to read an early copy of this gem thanks to Entangled Publishing and Net Galley.
Della's story I was very much looking forward to it and I knew it would be one I would love. Della and Tucker will give you all the feels. He's her brother's best friend who she's been crushing on and she decides he is going to be the one to help her while she gets her life going again. I love a brother's best friend story. You will laugh, swoon, and in the end fall in love with these two.
This is an absolute must read. While it is part of a series it can be read as a stand-alone. I myself have only read the first book in the series before I started to read this one. But I am definitely going to be reading the second one right away. So I highly recommend the ENTIRE series. It's the perfect binge read to escape with during these crazy times.

Della Munroe is ready to take back control of her life. She ready to see what dating all is about and she’s going to download Tinder and get started. After the first disastrous date she decides it would go better with a wingman to show her the ropes. She decides on Tucker Daniels, bar owner, her brother’s best friend and all-around good guy. She might have a slight crush on him but since he only sees her as his best friend’s sister all should be ok.
Tucker Daniels would rather Della not go out with a bunch of guys who are only on Tinder for one thing. He can’t say no to her so he’s not only helping her with her dates, he’s teaching her how to drive.

Della decides she wants Tucker to teach her a lot more and he tries to resist because of the age difference and his friendship with her brother but ultimately gives in to his feelings. Well written and enjoyable with a hint of past difficulties.

I’ve read a few of Amy Andrew’s books and have enjoyed my time spent in each one. Asking for Trouble is the third book in her Credence, Colorado series. All of the books in this series are stand-alone titles. And I can say with one hundred percent certainty that Asking for Trouble is a true stand-alone because I haven’t read any of the other books in the Credence, Colorado series, and at no time did I feel lost or like I was missing a huge piece of the backstory. She did a wonderful job filling in any holes without making the reader feel like it was an information dump.

Asking for Trouble is an emotional journey of one young woman who has been rescued from unspeakable trauma and has worked hard to heal and move forward. After years of having no one to turn to, for the last few years she’s had her brother she never knew about and a town that has loved and supported her in so many ways. She’s also made some pretty wonderful, if not somewhat unique friends that are ready to support and encourage her through learning what becoming a normal young, single woman today looks like. Including falling for her brother’s best friend.

NICUnurse’s Rating: This book tackles the very emotional topic of abuse: emotional, physical, and sexual, so beware of that going in. There shouldn’t be any triggers, but I’m not a professional, so I can’t say that with one hundred percent accuracy. There are a few flashback scenes to fill in Della’s backstory, but they aren’t too bad, in my opinion. What this story does show us is that there can be triumph in survival and learning what being “normal” can mean. And Della does this in a very unique way (but with unwavering support from her therapist). So, what you end up with is a well-written story of survival, finding healing and a new normal, and finding love when coming out the other side of trauma…with a hefty dose of sexy times thrown in. There are some truly laugh-out-loud comedic moments that will have you cheering for Della and her crazy, quirky group of friends that offer her unconditional friendship and unwavering support. And it left me definitely wanting more from these characters!

I give Asking for Trouble by Amy Andrews 4 out of 5 stars!

Gah! How does Amy Andrews do it? She writes such complex, compelling characters that are so worthy of finding their happily ever afters, that you fall in love with them as they fall in love with each other.

This is the third book in the Credence Colorado series although it completely stands alone. In fact, while the couples from the first 2 books (Nothing But Trouble and The Trouble with Christmas) are name-checked, they don’t appear in this book. Although many other characters - and many new ones - from the quirky town do feature. But fear not if you, like me, hate a name dump of characters - it’s not like that. And the people of Credence are ‘real’ people with quirks - not ridiculous parodies of irritating schmucks that sometimes appear in novels as the meddling townsfolk.

But our book isn’t about them - it’s about Della and Tucker.

Della has had a hard life; Harrowing in many respects. While there’s never any truly gory detail - and the book happens 4 years after her rescue from her abusive situation - I can imagine that this detail may be triggering to some. For me, it just made me like Della all the more. Seeing how far she’d come and how strong she was - even if she didn’t know it herself. She was such an inspiration and I was her biggest cheerleader from the first page to the last. She put me to shame with her bravery and I admired her big time!

Tucker. *Sighs* What can I say - I’m a sucker for a Tucker. I can imagine all the girls sighing as he strides by in his checked shirt, boots and cowboy hat, looking like a deliciously dirty lumberjack. But he’s got a heart of gold. And how he loves and cares for Della… If it wasn’t so beautiful - I might cry. I probably did cry, if I’m honest.

Della and Tucker are just perfect together - and more than just sexually. But sexually they are hotter than the red spot on Jupiter. There was definitely some pearl clutching and face-fanning going on as I read the steamy scenes. It might take a while for the pair to take the plunge - but by God they more than make up for it when they finally do get going.

There’s definitely a build-up to the full-on sex scenes but there’s also no scrimping on the hot moments even before that. I’m trying to forget about dirty Rosemary, the saucy 80-year old, but the trip to the sex shop was both hilarious and really interesting. I’m thinking I need to up my game some. But maybe not to full-on Tinder. While that was also illuminating and hilarious - it was also down-right terrifying!

Other things to love about this book - apart from the awesomely swoony love story - the triple bromance of Arlo, Drew and Tucker. Who doesn’t love some boy banter? Betty the Cavalier King Charles - my own ovaries nearly exploded when Tuck arrived at the door with her tucked under his arm; I’m getting overheated just remembering it. But best of all is the humour. No, best of all is Ms Andrews’ writing in general. How she manages to make me feel like I’m not reading, but sitting down to catch-up with my bestest friend while she tells me a love story - is something I’m not quite sure how she manages. And as with hanging out with your girls, you’ll laugh, cry and tell each other all the juicy, dirty details. It’s utter perfection.

Whether you’re new to Credence, Colorado, or you’re like me and planning to move there - you will fall in love with this book and more importantly, Della and Tucker. Please give it a go - you will not be disappointed. 5 swoony stars.

Della is an amazing women and I love how she is finally at the point of taking back a lot more control in her life and there are plenty of laughs, awkward moments and frustrations for them both when Tucker one of her brothers best friends agrees to be her wingman. You will laugh, cry, hoot and tut and want to shake them both as they go on this journey, but what am amazing journey it is that is made even better with the help of their friends in Credence! I am well and truly addicted to this series now!!

Credence gets another happy couple. Della was a broken girl when she first came to Credence. Now years later she has morphed into a beautiful butterfly and is looking to spread her wings. Tucker is the resident handsome bartender and her brother’s best friend. He has watched her lose that cocoon and unfurl her wings. They each have unacknowledged feelings for each other.

The antics continue with the seniors running around and the many women who have flooded to Credence. Although this is a story set in a small town it is lively and fun. The issues that Della deals with are serious but are dealt with in a gentle and caring way. Tucker, Drew, Arlo and the other characters form a great supportive network that helps her find her feet and fall in love with her her prince.

Della and Tucker’s emotional story in Asking for Trouble by Amy Andrews, book three in her Credence, Colorado series, was a humorous, sexy, and emotional story that checks all the boxes. There’s the hot bartender, best friend’s little sister, a woman with emotional baggage getting back into dating scene, Tinder disasters, reluctant wingman, driving instructor, and sex shop shenanigans.

Sexy bartender Tucker has watched traumatized Della bloom from her cocoon into a butterfly, wanting a normal life. As Della adjusts to having a normal life, Tucker is the one by her side, helping her, guiding her, and encouraging her; but he drew the line at taking her to explore the sex shop. The scene where these two dissect the Tinder offerings and pictures is hysterical Della asking Tucker to give her sex lessons, even if in secret, showed how far this sex abuse survivor had come. You know Tucker has to be one of the good ones when he remembers Della saying she wanted a dog someday and then brings her one when she moves into her own place. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and they are perfect for each other.

Ms. Andrews wrote a wonderful, funny, sexy and emotional story that is not to be missed. She provided a tale rich that sizzled with their chemistry, humorous conversations, and endearing characters giving Della and Tucker a chance at love, happiness, and a future together. I highly recommend Asking for Trouble to other readers and look forward to reading the next book in this series.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

I received this for an honest review! I gave it 4 out of 5 because it was too slow for me at the start. I also felt like something was missing in the end. I know it ended on a high but it still felt like there was just something that could have sent it a tad of the happiness edge. Overall it was a great read about someone with a tragic past getting a happy ever after....and that of course seems to happen. I’m pleased to say the characters are delightful, especially the old folks and Drew. Winona is gonna give some bloke a run for his money soon I hope.
If your looking for romance, laughter and maybe a few tears look no further than this book.

I am not sure how to explain Asking for Trouble by Amy Andrews. It is certainly a wonderful read, being serious but also laugh out loud funny. I did that more than once. The main character, Della, had been recused by her brother from a terribly abusive marriage. There is no chance of the ex-husband returning but the way Della has had to work to overcome the bad experiences is heartbreaking. Still the author does not dwell on the bad but on the huge progress that Della has made, starting this book three years after the rescue. Yet, I feel that this may be a trigger for some, so go in aware then enjoy because the book is amazing.

Credence, Colorado has been the support and caring community that Dela needed. I could only wish that everyone could find such a community. Overprotective brother, quirky residents especially some where Della works and one interested hot friend of her brother’s. Little sister to close friend is a common trope but Amy Andrews takes it a step more. I found myself laughing, cheering and learning how to “speak fluent idiot”! Tucker, you rock!

An ARC of the book was given to me by the publisher through Net Galley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I quite liked this story, although it is not up there with my favourites by Amy Andrews. I felt bad for not relating more to Della after all she's been through and risen above. Tucker is a great hero though, I liked his blend of ruggedness and softness .
Just be warned this story contains a few descriptions of sexual violence which could be triggering to some readers.
I received a free digital copy via NetGalley, but the opinions expressed are my own.

Asking for Trouble is the third book in the Credence, Colorado series and I definitely recommend it! I love Amy’s writing style and she really shines in this one. I feel like I have been waiting for Della and Tucker’s story since the first book and it did not disappoint. It was so great to see Della come out of her shell! I loved Tucker and thought he was the perfect book boyfriend. I cannot wait for the next one!

Loved this story. A perfect escape for the times right now. Loved Della and Tucker. After getting about of a bad relationship, Della is ready to date again but she is not having a good time at it so she asks Tucker for help. Loved their chemistry. He was really patient with her due to her past and it showed. He was there for her when she needed him. Great characters and a great story. Loved this story.

I read an early review copy of this book from NetGalley and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Della Munroe is sick of being invisible and is ready to take back control of her life, and she wants to start off by dating. Though she knows who she would like to date, but doesn’t think he is interested in his best friends little sister. She however does manage to convince him to be her wingman.
Tucker is attracted to Della but she is his best friends younger sister and off limits to him. But when she asks for his help to be her wingman, he can’t say no. And is not only vetting her dates, also teaching her to drive. But when Della wants him to teach her the art of kissing and more, he is caught between a rock and a hard space.
Wonderful characters, sweet moments and some amazing chemistry made this a highly enjoyable read. Della is a fighter and it was wonderful to see her finally come into her own. And Tucker *swoon* was just wonderful with her, so gentle and thoughtful. I think they were just perfect together.

I have wanted more of these characters since they were introduced and I was not disappointed. Tucker and Della both had valid points for not wanting to admit their feelings, but there were times when I wanted to scream because of the way they were acting. The horrors that Della lived through were heartbreaking and I found myself being so proud of her for coming out the other side stronger than ever.
Tucker tried to remain her friend, due in part to his friendship with her brother, as well as her past. I found it frustrating that he put so much into the age difference, but could see his reasoning at the same time. I loved how she ultimately went for what she wanted. The residents at the assisted living facility where Della worked were a hoot. The way the proposition came about and their relationship grew from friendship to way more was endearing.
When Tucker pushed her to explore her dreams it was so heartwarming, even though it broke his heart to do so. After he finally realized he loved her, I appreciated how he confessed to her brother and her brother's reaction. The shopping trip, rain storm and driving lessons were all a slow burn to get them where they both ultimately wanted to be. There wasn't a moment of this book that I didn't like or enjoy. Even the hard to read parts were great, because they let the reader understand Della more.
I highly recommend this book and can't wait for the next in the series. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.

I definitely struggled with this book. I really liked both characters in the beginning of this story and I loved that Della asked for help. She went through a lot with her ex-husband. Everything she's been through made some of her behavior even more unacceptable to me. I don't want to spoil any parts of this story for anyone else but I will say that when someone tells you their boundaries, respect them, regardless of why you think they have those boundaries.

I've read all three books in this series and this was the only one that I felt I had to push myself to finish.

I really enjoyed this one. This is a sibling's best friend, age-gap, small town, western romance. I like all of that!

Before this book Della was saved, by her brother Arlo, from her abusive husband. By the beginning of this book she is divorced and in therapy. I love Della's growth throughout this book.

Tucker is just a beautiful man.

The secondary characters are so amazing in this story. I think Rosemary might be my fave side character. She is this older woman and she is hilarious.

I love the guy friendship in this too. The one between Arlo, Tucker & Drew.
I
can't wait to read more in this stand alone series, because I need more of this world.

What a fun but very steamy read this proved to be! It is packed with humour from the very start and had my laughing out loud at so many of the incidents.

Credence, Colorado has a lot more men than women living there so you'd assume that Della Munroe wouldn't find it hard to find someone to at least date. However, she's now lived there for three years and most of the eligible males treat her like she's their younger sister rather than a potential girlfriend. Maybe that isn't totally surprising when you realise she's a domestic abuse victim who was rescued by her big brother and brought to the town for him to protect and to help her recover . . . . and her big brother is the local Sheriff so heaven help anyone who does anything to upset her in any way! There are very few folk he trusts to help her, but one of them is his best friend Tucker Daniels. When Della decides to start using Tinder to try to find someone to date, Tucker is coerced into being her wingman but this definitely makes life even more interesting as he's her secret crush - and she's his!

For those of you looking for romances which have the action behind closed doors, I'll say this definitely has an open door policy! There's romance for a couple of the residents where Della works, hilarious dates,  a ladies outing to visit a local shop where different aids are demonstrated and discussed, a lovely puppy, friendly blackmail and lessons galore in this fun read. Tucker is a real gentle man in every sense and their hot romance starts from a cool beginning but soon heats up! What a brave, resilient and determined young lady  Della has become after such a traumatic experience. These two are great - and so are Drew and Arlo. I really hope they both get their own books soon!

I requested and was gifted a copy of this book via NetGalley and this is my honest review after choosing to read it and thoroughly enjoying doing so.

In ‘Asking For Trouble’ we meet Della Munroe. Della has been living in Credence ever since her brother save her from her abusive husband. Now, three years later, Della is starting to feel better and more confident. It’s time for her to start living again. And to start dating again. But after her past, this isn’t really easy for Della. So who better to help her out than Tucker Daniels, the town barkeeper, her brothers best friend and the guy she secretly has a crush on.

‘Asking For Trouble’ was a really fun, romantic, sexy and feel good book that kept me hooked from the very beginning. I’ve always loved reading about small towns, and Credence is definitely a town I love. Combine that with two fun and very likeable characters and there’s nothing about this book I didn’t like. Sure, it was a little predictable.. but not in a bad way and not in a way that bothered me at all.

The romance between Della and Tucker was very enjoyable. You could easily feel their chemistry. And I loved the whole barkeeper, brothers best friend part. It definitely made for a swoon worthy book.

This book also made laugh out loud several times. The interactions between Della and her friends where just so funny. I definitely made my husband look up with a questioning look several times. And then there was Tucker, who desperately tried to not be embarrassed by Della’s questions.. I loved them.

‘Asking For Trouble’ was a very fun read with a swoon worthy romance.
