This was so gripping and such a fast read.
The characters in this book are all not what they seem. Everyone has a secret or two.
There were many reveals and they were all done really well.

There were some twists and turns in this book which kept it interesting and made me keep reading. The characters were like able (mostly) and the different perspectives were written well and not confusing, as sometimes this style can be. A good read.

Well talk about keeping me hooked! It's a bit slow paced to begin with however when I hit about 70% I couldn't put it down!!
I watched everything I believe unravel in front of me!
And what an emotional roller coaster it was.
Pretty impressed I'd reckon this book to anyone willing to give it a read!

Thank you #netgalley and #bookouture for the chance to review this arc.

Beth's life is not going as well as she'd hoped. A marriage counsellor by trade, she has been dumped by long term boyfriend Richard after he cheated on her, raising her son alone and trying to help couple's who's marriages are falling apart.
One of those clients is Danielle, a burn surviver and successful lawyer who is trying to save her marriage and have a baby with her husband. All while keeping secrets from Beth. But that's ok, because Beth is keeping secrets also, secrets that changed her life.

I'm going to stop there because I don't want to give anymore away! I really enjoyed this book. It's fast paced and mysterious with so many twists and turns that keep you guessing. I love the duel POVs from unreliable character's. The conclusion to the story was perfect. Overall, a great book that I will recommend.

WOW. I am still blown away by this story.
Without realizing it Ruth Heald kept me glued to my Kindle for hours.
The story is told from Beth and Danielle's point of view, some chapters have such shocking plot twists that you just want to move on and on.
We know Danielle is not well at all from the first session with Beth, but the truth we learn at the end leaves us in complete shock.
The author plays with us through Beth's revelations that we don't know if they are real or if it's her mind playing tricks on her.
If you like psychological thrillers as much as I do, you absolutely must read I Know Your Secret, and Ruth's other titles, such as The Nanny. Another 5 star read.
As for me, I’, going to add all of her titles to my TBR, and take advantage of them being on Kindle Unlimited.

I love a professional who has to deal with their own demons while trying to keep the clients from falling off a cliff type book. Beth is a known therapist who has a life that isnt all roses. Her husband left her with their baby. Her new client constantly fights with her husband and grow apart. Both ladies have secrets and no one is who they say they are. and the unfolding of this story was perfect and unexpected.

Beth is a therapist who is reeling after her husband has an affair. They simply can’t reconcile and her world is falling apart, when Danielle walks into her office. Danielle claims she is there for couples counseling, and that her past is a huge issue for their marriage, but there’s more Danielle isn’t telling her. Like she knows that Beth had an affair with her father. Or that she blames Beth for her mother going to prison. Or the fact that Danielle has been waiting for this moment of revenge for 15 years. “I Know Your Secret” by Ruth Heald is an intense read about family, betrayal, and how far someone would go for revenge.

I love a good thriller and this definitely makes the list. As a slow build, the beginning felt a little mundane, waiting for the shoe to drop, but when it did. I. Was. Hooked. Danielle and Beth are mentally squaring off, a chess game of revenge and betrayal, and I am here for it. Who is the cat? And who is the mouse? You’ll have to read to find out.

I don’t want to give too much away, because there are some details you just have to figure out for yourself, but I will say this was an easy 4 stars for me. Twisty and interesting, this is one read you’ll want on your tbr.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for the arc in exchange for my honest review!

As a support worker in the mental health field I cannot recommend a book that gives such disregard to the trust and vulnerability that goes on in sessions between a therapist and client. The amount of manipulation, transference and projection that happens in this book is astonishing. Books like these in the thriller book community continue to add to the Stigma around mental health leading to hundreds of people who don't feel safe to seek help. This is why we need sensitivity readers. One star.

This wasn’t a bad read but at times it was quite predictable and I think I’d have liked a bit more excitement reading this book. It is a quick and easy read. 3.5⭐️

Really enjoyed this thriller, I hadn’t read any of this authors other books but now I will. This really kept the reader guessing how the story was going to unravel.

I loved everything about this book, I didn't get anything done while reading this one. It is truly a masterpiece that needs to be read by all.

Two women both with secrets to hide. This book started slowly. I was tempted to put the book down but I kept with it. Glad I did as the story really improved as it went along. Finished as an enjoyable read.
Many thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to receive a copy of an ARC.

Over all, this was worth the time to read, but I almost DNF'd. I thought I had it all figured out--it will seem the mystery is obvious, but no, it's not. You might be as surprised as I was to find out the twist.

The story itself is good, and it has a great twist. However, the writing style isn't for me. There is so much repetition, and god, I hate repetition probably more than anything else in books. It seemed that the two main characters sounded pretty much like the same person. I had to really pay attention at the beginning to figure out which character was narrating because they sounded the same.

Anyway, because of the great twist, I think it's worth a read if you like thrillers, but skim some of that extraneous sludge.

Thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for a copy of the ARC.
