Well, it's official: I love Helena Hunting. I inhaled this book as quickly as Ronan would devour one of Blair's cupcakes. This slow burn was fun from the start – who could resist reading about a woman who strikes out on her own to open her own cocktail and cupcake cafe? Maybe I'm projecting my love of food as much as my love of romance, but I certainly couldn't. Ronan and Blair's chemistry sizzles, Blair's wacky family is laugh-out-loud funny (and appalling), and I adored the back-drop of them falling in love at the Knight Cap and Buttercream and Booze.

I really enjoyed Meet Cute and have been meaning to read Hunting's backlist as well. With this one, she's on the auto-buy list for me.

Kiss My Cupcake was so sweet and entertaining! I loved the animosity between Blaire and Ronan and their awesome banter as their attraction built and sparks flew. I loved the ups and downs and playfulness!

I really liked Blaire and her fierceness to succeed on her own. Ronan was amazing and I loved his big heart and what he was trying to accomplish with his bar. I loved them meeting, all the bickering and innuendos, and the amusing pranks and fun barbs. There was a delightful slow burn happening as they get to know each other and feelings grew and I really enjoyed it. There's a playful antagonism that's simmering with chemistry underneath it all and I couldn't get enough of it.

This story was outright fun to read! It was light and easy with minor drama and a bit of angst. There's a nice amount of emotion mixed in as well. I loved the build to Ronan and Blair coming together, from that animosity turning more playful to the building heat. There were great secondary characters, some really hilarious moments, plus a really inviting storyline. Blaire's family is crazy and a bit over the top so they created some interesting scenes. I loved Ronan's grandfather and how charming he was, the bond they had together was great. I liked the competition element that was happening as well and how Ronan and Blair ended up working together. I thought the ending was wonderful with a fantastic epilogue, I totally got choked up.

I was super excited to read this and was not disappointed. A lively and enchanting story with a sexy bar owner and cupcake queen! This book left me smiling and happy. I couldn’t read it fast enough!

This was such a cute rivals-to-lovers romance. Hunting is one of the best rom-com writers when comes to character interactions and dialogue between them. Also can write amazing sexy times as well. If you loved her previous books Good Luck Charm and Meet Cute, you'll defiantly enjoy this one.

It was smart, sweet, and sexy. I loved it! The banter between the two main characters was wonderful. I definitely recommend this book and this author.

I devoured this book! The sparks between Blaire and Ronan were flying and I just wanted to grab a bourbon maple cupcake and soak up every bit of deliciousness (of the cupcake and the sparks!).The characters kept me laughing with their sassiness (wish I could have been there for their duets on karaoke night!) and swooning with their romance. I kept picturing Josh from Younger as Ronan. Gramps was also a favorite character! I have to mention that I also loved the shoutout to Daxton Hughes- it is always fun when the author references characters from previous books. Such a fun, awesome read!!

This is a fun and light enemies-to-lovers story. It's great if you're looking for a good time and just want something uncomplicated and easy to read. It’s got a bit of sweet and a bit of spice for a pretty good balance. Ronan was yummy and I was on his side the whole time through every conflict.

It has some problems, like it leans too heavily into the "quirky" girl stereotype and the resolution is rushed. It felt like they realized the book needed conflict so they tossed some in that didn't feel true to the character, then resolved it quickly for that HEA.

But again, it was fun and lighthearted. Recommended if you’re looking for something sweet and simple!

Kiss My Cupcake by Helena Hunting was so adorable. Like beyond adorable. First of all, my favorite place to go in Buffalo is a cupcakery so this book was perfect for me.

This rom-com is an enemies to lovers romance with dual POV. I just loved the flirty banter between Blaire and Ronan. It was especially fun when they were in the enemies stage. They were both very likable characters and I wish I could go to each of their establishments lol. Ronan eating the cupcakes always made me smile (read it and you’ll see what I mean).

This was an enjoyable read. I hope you’ll check it out when it’s released August 11.

I loved Meet Cute so this was a must read for me. I thought it was adorable. I loved the tension from the first meet cute between Ronan and Blaire. I loved their banter and their pranks. I really enjoyed both of their ambition and drive and that was leveled up when they were on the same side. I really liked that it was an easy and fun read. I was in a slump and it was just the right book to get me reading again.

I absolutely recommend this book! Kiss My Cupcake is a laugh at loud romance. The characters are so adorable and I absolutely loved them. Blaire is a chef who loves to make cupcakes and is growing her business. She started in the market selling, then went to a food truck and now she’s opened her new store front store. Her best friend is helping her with pics and social media and has her own down the street. What Blaire wasn’t ready for was a hot lumberjack looking guy who was building an axe bar next to her shop. Ronan is helping run his grandpa’s bar while saving money for his own brewery and he’s enjoying teasing his new neighbor. Blaire is like the pinup classy girl next door but she has a lot of surprises for Ronan. She’s feisty and not willing to let anything mess with her business. This book will have you crying from laughter and shaking your head at the crazy. I loved it and you will too. Five stars ⭐️ !

Another amazing rom com by this author. Adorably sweet with some sexiness and laughs thrown in. Loved Blaire and Ronan's enemies to friends to lovers banter throughout the whole book and the secondary characters as well. After reading this book I need to find where to get these cupcakes as I was drooling through at least half of this one!

****4.5 stars**** I got an advanced copy from Netgalley for an honest review. Wow. I have to say this one surprised me. I was expecting an okay read, but what I got was something that was a little bit more complex. The story is about two bar/restaurant owners working side by side. There is some conflict in the beginning but they end up working together nicely. I would call this enemies to lovers light. The story was a little on the flowery side but kept my interest throughout. I laughed out loud several times. I will say there were some odd family dynamics that were a bit crazy but it didn't dampen the story. I finished this story in one day, it was that good. The end was a bit cheesy and a little too happily ever after but overall this story was a great one. Highly recommend.

This was exactly the story I needed. Perfect light and cheery enemies to lovers, delicious cupcakes and craft beer, super steamy connection that makes for great light smut, a smidge of misunderstanding that doesn’t cause unnecessary drama. Just truly perfect and light, like a cupcake! Oh also, I truly identified with Blaire’s ensemble choices.

Pardon my pun, but this was super sweet! I loved how much Ronan admired the love story of his grandparents and wanted that for himself with Blaire, even through all the pranks, nicknames, and broken unicorn martini glasses. I also loved Blaire’s determination to make her small business succeed, without the help and control of her well off family. This is a fun, light-hearted, enemies to lovers rom com that is perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth

Blaire, a bubbly woman who dress like she’s from Grease movie, wanted to be business-independent from her crazy family opened her own café/bakery, Buttercream and Booze.

Ronan, a hot HOT arrogant man (but loves his Gramps so much) who dress like sexy lumberjack, wanted his own brewery but ended up managing The Knight Cap offered by his Gramps, which has been in his family for generations.

Oh did I mention the two small businesses are right next to each other AND opened the same day? Well, let the competition begin.

If you enjoy enemies to lovers, you sure will enjoy this one. The fun banters, pranks, and cupcake sexual innuendos are the best! Blaire and Ronan trying to one up each other but at the same time ended up working together was very fun to read. Although at some point I did feel like there were dull moments or maybe I just have a lack of sense of humor. Since I’ve read quite a few of Hunting’s books, I couldn’t help myself to compare it. Not my favorite but still a fun fluffy romance read that is perfect for summer!

Prepare yourself to be hangry for some delicious cupcakes! Better yet, go bake some before reading this one. You have been warned 😂

Kiss My Cupcake is about two small-business owners, Blaire and Ronan, who start off competing against each other for business and then slowly start working together to battle against a large chain that moves in across the street.

I am a sucker for an enemies-to-lovers storyline because it always has the BEST banter between the two lead characters and this book is no exception! Blaire and Ronan have incredible chemistry, the pacing is good and it isn’t too steamy (though there are a couple more vulgar parts, if that isn’t your thing).

This is a great romance novel for fans of the genre and my first from this particular author, though it definitely won’t be my last!

Helena did it again!!! Up there to the best book she has written!! A must read! I rate this 5 million stars! The best thing I have read all year!! Knocked it out of the ball park!!

Funny, sexy, witty, and just completely humorous, this book was such a joy to read. The characters are charismatic and standout. The dialogue is perfect, and the mix of funny and sexy is what makes the book spark and stand out. Very fun and easy read!
