A really fun overview of the key books to read in the coming seasons. I like reading the short selections-- it gives a great flavor of the different writers and their works... although I often wish I could just keep reading the stories :)

Appreciate the opportunity to review this book! Thanks

Always love Buzz Books! Have already been approved and read several titles included...and have a few more that I am hoping to review! Especially looking forward to the new Fredrik Backman, Anxious People. Happy Reading!

This is a collection of book titles with some book chapters for books that will be published coming in 2020. This was a really good book for me to read because it gave me a good idea of some of the new releases, making me excited for the fall/winter publishing season (and giving me more books to request from NetGalley). This book helped me to see if there are any books that would be "wasting my time."

If you're looking for new books, I recommend reading this to make you excited for books to be released.

Buzz Books is a fabulous peek in to the future for avid readers. I love the opportunity to read snippets from upcoming releases . This is a big help in planning my reading as well as identifying books/authors for literary events in our community.

Oh, Publisher’s Lunch, you are such a tease… but in a good way. I enjoy previewing the books that will come out later and this Buzzbooks has quite the variety of book. My only issue is that if the book I love is not Read Now and I am not approved, it is such a long wait to get to finish reading.

I really enjoy these books and the sneak peek at upcoming releases! My favorite are the ones that are genre specific.

This book is amazing for a person who loves lists like I do! I like how there are lists for all the genres in the beginning of the book, each one in a separate list. After that, there are the selections that have excerpts. There is so much to look at and read in this volume! I found quite a few books that I've put on my own list.

I hadn't heard of Buzz Books until recently. I'm so glad that I did. These books will be a great asset to readers and reviewers alike. I have found quite a few books that I want to review and many more that I will read and review after they are published.

There is only one downfall that I see from this book; my TBR list is going to grow exponentially! I highly recommend this book to any book lover or reviewer looking for their next favorite read.

Always love this preview and am very thankful to be able to read excerpts from many different upcoming books, a lot of which made their way onto my TBR!

I love these Buzz Books- they give me such a great idea of what's coming up. Plus, I have kind of a thing for 1st sentences and 1st chapters! Thanks for the great read, NetGalley!

As a publishing professional, I've been reading the Buzz Books series from Publishers Lunch for several years. They're a great way to learn about and read excerpts of up-and-coming authors and new books which will be published soon. This Fall/Winter 2020 edition offers a snapshot of upcoming fiction and nonfiction books by established authors and debut authors from a wide range of publishers.

You don't have to be in the publishing industry to access this book — it's available as a free e-book on Amazon, and can help any avid reader learn more about high profile books coming out this fall.

I found the mystery books more appealing than many of the novels included in this edition. Based on the excerpts in Buzz Books, these are the books I’m looking forward to reading when they're available:

• We Run the Tides by Vendela Vida

• Before the Ruins by Victoria Gosling

• The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman

• Cher Ami & Major Whittlesey by Kathleen Rooney

• When the Apricots Bloom by Gina Wilkinson

• The Last Story of Mina Lee

• Set my Heart to Five by Simon Stephenson

• Can't Even by Anne Helen Petersen

Thank you NetGalley and Publisher's Lunch for this eARC in exchange for honest feedback and for introducing me to so many new authors for the next season. I loved most of the stories/samples in this publication. I am most looking forward to Magic Lessons because I love a good prequel! All in all I think my TBR list just grew and I am so excited.

Publisher’s Lunch has a Spring/Summer 2020 Book Buzz available for those impatient readers looking for a book now.

I love these books, I think it is a great concept for people to see what books they may of may not be interested in reading.
I have read quite a few books I wouldn't have thought I would be interested in because of Buzz Books.
Having said that, the books featured in the 2020 Fall/Winter left a lot to be desired, (much like the 2020 Spring/Summer) there were only a couple that I was really into.

The rating for this book is based on the premise of Buzz Books and not necessarily the actual content.

The fall/winter 2020 is definitely going to be a bang for readers. There are several books that I definitely cant wait to finish. I've heard a lot of great things about author Ken Follett and this was my first time reading anything that he had written. Needless to say this sneak peek of his novel most definitely has me wanting more. These books will definitely be buzz worthy. I dont want to spoil any of these great books for anyone so I'll keep details to myself. I definitely will be checking out more of the seasonal buzzworthy books.

I really enjoyed the 2nd except In the Garden of Spite. I wanted to keep reading it because it was interesting, kept me engaged and I wanted to know what happened

Beauty Among Ruins also has a lot of potential. I would have continued to read it if I could have.

There are several excerpts that grabbed me and pulled me into the story leaving me wanting to read more. . However, there were some that I couldn't get into the story at all and was glad when I got to the end

Great collection by many authors I haven't read before and many that I have! The links were incredibly helpful and I've already requested some galleys...fingers crossed!
