This is a preview of upcoming releases in fiction and non-fiction for the Fall 2020 season. Each section includes an synopsis of the book and a brief excerpt. I am most interested in "Prophets" by Robert Jones Jr.

Thanks Publishers Lunch and Netgalley for sharing this sampler of upcoming titles. As always, it adds to my “to read” list immensely.

A great way to see some of the new offerings coming this fall and winter. The books available are fiction, debut, non-fiction and young adult. Especially nice is the available site that takes you to NetGalley where you can request an advanced readers copy. Also available are the first few chapters of an upcoming book. . Thanks to #NetGalley for making this publication available. The opinions expressed are entirely my own.

This version introduces 30 excerpts from to be released books this fall/winter. these excerpts are useful to gain some feelings and insights about the content and style. It makes it thus easier to decide what to read when the books are published. I always look forward to these excerpts.

This book is a series of excerpts of books to be published in the near future. This can’t really be the typical review but I did enjoy this and have yet another TBR list. I will definitely be on the lookout for the next Buzz books that comes out.

What a delightful sampling of this Fall’s publications. I always look forward to the publication of the Buzz Books to see what I might like to read in full. I almost always find a book or more that I want to read. A great way to experience new writers and new to me authors. I also get to sample some know authors.

Bravo and thanks to Netgalley and Publishers Lunch for broadening my horizons. I am not required to leave a positive review.

I like this collection of pre-release books that are sure-to-be popular titles and a mix of authors I’ve known about but haven’t had a chance to read yet, like Ken Follett, Matt Haig, Jonathan Lethem, Sue Miller, James Patterson, Jeffrey Archer, David Baldacci just to name a few.

This book is a perfect resource for me professionally and personally. Another bonus is that many of these books are available on Netgalley. I can get a little feel for the book through the excerpts then I can request the book through Netgalley to read. I’ll have lots to share with my book club and/or some patrons at the library I think would enjoy this type of book. I’ve enjoyed and I’m thankful for this opportunity to get a peek at what will be on bookshelves soon.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. Thanks for this. It was very informative and has influenced my recent book purchases both for myself and school.

This is a wonderful resource for avid readers, book bloggers, booksellers and librarians to learn about and read excerpts from upcoming releases. I think the online version would benefit greatly if there were links at the front of the book where it lists each release by category so that the readers could jump to the section (summary & excerpts) for the release he or she was most interested in because my guess is that many people will not read this cover-to-cover. That said, using this book I was able to add lots of books to my to-be-read list.

This is an interesting way to learn about upcoming books. Several looked good. I got it for the Matt Haig preview and it made me excited for the book!

I appreciate the intention of Buzz Books. I look at each to ensure I am not missing any noteworthy titles in my library and in my reviewing. My constructive criticism would be to include more BIPOC writers and writers of other historically underrepresented communities.

I find this format difficult to work with as if I want to read a sample from a particular book, it is difficult to locate that book within the text. I wish there were an easier way.
