A solid mystery with lots of suspects who have their own reasons for murdering the famous author Julianna and her husband. The close knit Charleston beach community are all harbouring secrets that make them all appear guilty of these murders. The book also deals with dementia, mother/daughter relationships and the unique ability that some artistic people possess to zone out when they are deep into their craft.

Sometimes, I struggle with thrillers when the pacing is off. However, Murder, Forgotten was well-paced and thoroughly enjoyable. It is one of the best things I have read in recent times. I enjoyed the writing style and would recommend her work to anyone. However, I felt that this book wasn’t a standout for me.

I have not read anything by this author before and after reading this book i will definitely be picking more of her books up. The twists and turns were unexpected and i never guessed the ending. The story lead you in so many routes that every time i thought i had it figured out i changed my mind. I loved the writing style and the characters were fantastic.
