Now I want to go live on Reindeer Road and I want to adopt Teddy! Loving Christmas as I do, I always jump at the chance of reading any Christmas related books and I must say, this one is one of my favourites!! Debbie Mason has proven over and over what a wonderful author she is and she never ceases to amaze me with her stories. She puts so much heart into them and the characters are so realistic, they become part of your family.

Gabe and Mallory are absolutely wonderful characters and it's instant attraction when they meet but each of them have their problems and it doesn't look like there's a future for them. It's Gabe's adorable 5 year old son, Teddy, who steals the spotlight, he's determined to have Mallory become his and his brothers' new mom! After all, it's his Christmas wish and he just knows Santa will make his wish come true:) There are so many delightful scenes, as well as some very touching ones and you will find yourself not wanting to put the book down.

I received an ARC of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

I loved Christmas on Reindeer Road by Debbie Mason. Christmas books are my favorite books to read. This Christmas book is full of romance and a little child believing in the miracle of Christmas. Read it I promise you will not be disappointed.

3.5 stars

I had the opportunity to review "Summer on Honeysuckle Ridge" earlier this summer so I jumped at the chance to review the 2nd book in this series, "Christmas on Reindeer Road". This book picks up where the first book left off - many of the same characters were an integral part to this book and although this book can be read as a stand alone book, it definitely makes more sense if you have read the first book.

While I liked this book better than the first one, I still didn't totally LOVE this book. I liked it - it was an easy read that I did in one afternoon as I sat on my back deck enjoying the birds flying around. Just when I started to really feel a connection to some of the characters, they would do something stupid that made me totally not relate to them anymore (the way the Chief snapped at the boys for dropping the ornament; the way Mallory seemed to live as a pauper and took a job servicing senior citizens even though she had a medical degree; the awkward interactions between the Chief and Mallory, etc.). BUT ... I truly adored Teddy. Teddy (and Brooks to a certain extent) really made this book so much more enjoyable.

I was provided an ARC in exchange for an honest review. The opinions stated above are mine without biases.

The second in a series but can be read as a standalone story . Gabe and Mallory both end up on Reindeer Road as neighbors raising their children as single parents. They help each other babysit and work on plans to help them keep their families intact and happy.

Along the way there are lots of laughs, shenanigsns, and a few tears. In the end, the youngest of all the children helps the adults find their way. A great addition to the series!

I received a free ARC eBook from Net Galley and the publisher in exchange for my honest opinions.

Fun holiday Christmas story set in Highland Falls.
Two single parents, one with 2 step children, and a widower with three boys.
Teddy is adorable!!
Road to true love isn't easy. But, it's worth it.
Great addition to series.

If this book doesn't put you in the holiday spirit, nothing will. I adored every single word. The characters leaped from the pages straight into my heart. And the emotional depth in this story. It has *all* the feels! Honestly, I just wanted to wrap my arms around these characters and hug them tight. I loved them so much.

I've been reading Debbie Mason since her debut (when she wrote as Debbie Mazzuca) and more than a few of her books have been 5-star reads for me but this one, this one is special. I had already pre-ordered Christmas on Reindeer Road in e-book (because I have limited space) but after reading the ARC I'll also be ordering it in print. It's joining my special holiday shelf of books; those I can see, touch, and curl up with in front of my Christmas tree every year as I once again revisit beloved characters and lose myself in their journeys to a happily ever after.

I highly recommend you add Christmas on Reindeer Road to your holiday reading list.

This is the perfect Christmas read. This book is very warm, loving, heartfelt, funny and sometimes sad. You can read this as a stand alone but the first book is great also. Highland Falls is the perfect background to find new love and to have a Christmas miracle. I read this book in August and still found it the best so you can read it anytime of the year. I just think it will be more special at Christmas time. Mallory and Gabe have got to overcome a lot to end up together. I do think the fight they go through will be worth it in the end. I hope there are more books to come in this series as I would like to keep hearing about these characters. I can't believe I forgot to mention Teddy. He steals the show in this book.

What a heartwarming romance story! I fell in love with the town of Highland Falls in the first book of this series, and I was excited that this book gave updates on some of the characters we fell in love with in book one. We were first introduced to the tension between Mallory and Gabe in the last book, and their story did not disappoint! Both Gabe and Mallory are great characters, and I loved their development and how everything worked out for them. Although I must admit my favorite character in this book was Teddy, I absolutely adored him and his intelligence and Christmas spirit! This was a wonderful addition to the Highland Falls series, and I can’t wait for the next book to come out!

Christmas and a sweet romance all in one. Can a little boy without his mother and a woman who is trying to make a family with her teen stepsons after her husband dies teach everyone the magic of Christmas? Yes! With a mean Grandma on one side a and a Father who gave her up on the other and a romance in the middle this story comes together tied with a big bow just in time for Christmas! Thanks to the publisher, NetGalley and the author Debbie Mason for letting me read an advanced copy of Christmas on Reindeer Road!

Really loved this book! It was such a fun holiday romance and Teddy was the best part! An adorable selfless couple who are both overcoming reputation issues, with cute kids and fun holiday magic! I will say I wanted a little bit more of their romance and look forward to hopefully revisiting this couple in another book or a novella! Overall its a great holiday romance all about the magic of Christmas to get you into the holiday season, definitely worth a read.

This is book 2 in the series and I loved it so much, but now I need to read the first book in the series.

This story features Mallory, who has had a very strange life I guess you could say. She was married to an older man (way older). He was a father of two sons and when he married her he shipped his sons off to England so she doesnt know them at all. His first wife, declared that he was not in his right mind and was too ill to be married and so any rights or money she was supposed to get went to the first wife. Yes, even the custody of the two kids. But she didnt want them, so Mallory asks to take ccustody of them and pulls them out of school in England, and takes them to a new american city where she has good friends and a new job.

To say the boys are angry is a minor statement and so she ends up in jail, on probabation and living next door to the top who arrested her. Gabriel has problems too, He has three sons and a mother in law that wants those kids and so he is fearful to get involved with Mallory because she is a scandal waiting to happen. Though staying away becomes impossible...

This story sound a little crazy but it absolutely works. I loved all the teens in this story as much as I loved the adults. I adored Mallory even with some of her craziness. This was a really fun romance and I adored it. Perfect Christmas romance.

This was pretty much the cutest romance novel I have read in a long time! I absolutely loved the first book in the Highland Falls series (Summer on Honeysuckle Ridge) and I was so excited to get to see a focus on Mallory and Gabe. Christmas on Reindeer Road was equal parts endearing, heartwarming, and hiliarous. I particulary enjoyed the always adorable and incredibly precocious Teddy, who I think stole the show a lot of the times and added a new level of heart to the story. This is the perfect book to usher in the fall holidays and get in the Christms spirit early. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good love story.

My husband looked at my quizzically when I started laughing uncontrollably with my head buried in this book. I haven’t read a romance novel this laugh-out-loud funny in a long time. Peppered with steam between two characters with tense chemistry and all the havoc two sets of families can cause. Teen boys who blame Mallory, their stepmother, for everything—including their father’s death. Gabe’s mother-in-law who would like nothing more than to control his and his son’s lives, and matchmaking friends help to make things go terribly wrong. A small town that knows and judges everything, gossip, and poignant scenes. A shining example of how fun and chaotic Christmas can be, especially when blending families. Heartfelt romance at its best. But this isn't just a Christmas story. It can be enjoyed any time of the year. So, so good.

I guess I read book 1 too long ago to remember a lot of details about it. I didn't remember Mallory at all and felt kind of lost while reading. I thought the whole romance between Mallory and Gabe was a little far fetched (maybe if I remembered Mallory from the first book I would have understood their attraction better). I did like the characters and setting.

If you enjoy Christmas books, you will enjoy this one. This is part of a series, but can be read as a stand alone. Mallory returns to Highland Falls with her step sons. Gabriel is the chief of police, who is widowed and the father of 3 sons. Mallory’s best friend Abby sets her up in house on Reindeer Road next to Gabe’s house. You will fall for Teddy, who is 5 and believes in Christmas wishes. And this Christmas, he hopes his wish for a mom comes true. I enjoyed this book. The storyline was not rushed, like most Christmas stories. Thank you to NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for the E-ARC. This is my own opinion.

Easy read and fun to read! Mallory moves back to hometown of Highland Fall to start a new life with her two stepsons after her husband passes away. She clashes with the police chief Gabe after a dispute with her children. After they figure out what happened they realize they are neighbors on Reindeer Road. Gabe is a widower with three boys and in-laws that disapprove of Mallory. The two are attracted to each other and Gabe’s son Teddy picks her for his new mother. They fight their attraction as his in-laws threaten to take his boys away. Mallory also has to come to terms with her Dad who she thought abandoned her and her past. Lots of love, laughter and sadness at times make this a great read!

Thanks to Debbie Mason and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for this book!
