Really loved this book! It was such a fun holiday romance and Teddy was the best part! An adorable selfless couple who are both overcoming reputation issues, with cute kids and fun holiday magic! I will say I wanted a little bit more of their romance and look forward to hopefully revisiting this couple in another book or a novella! Overall its a great holiday romance all about the magic of Christmas to get you into the holiday season, definitely worth a read.

This is book 2 in the series and I loved it so much, but now I need to read the first book in the series.

This story features Mallory, who has had a very strange life I guess you could say. She was married to an older man (way older). He was a father of two sons and when he married her he shipped his sons off to England so she doesnt know them at all. His first wife, declared that he was not in his right mind and was too ill to be married and so any rights or money she was supposed to get went to the first wife. Yes, even the custody of the two kids. But she didnt want them, so Mallory asks to take ccustody of them and pulls them out of school in England, and takes them to a new american city where she has good friends and a new job.

To say the boys are angry is a minor statement and so she ends up in jail, on probabation and living next door to the top who arrested her. Gabriel has problems too, He has three sons and a mother in law that wants those kids and so he is fearful to get involved with Mallory because she is a scandal waiting to happen. Though staying away becomes impossible...

This story sound a little crazy but it absolutely works. I loved all the teens in this story as much as I loved the adults. I adored Mallory even with some of her craziness. This was a really fun romance and I adored it. Perfect Christmas romance.

This was pretty much the cutest romance novel I have read in a long time! I absolutely loved the first book in the Highland Falls series (Summer on Honeysuckle Ridge) and I was so excited to get to see a focus on Mallory and Gabe. Christmas on Reindeer Road was equal parts endearing, heartwarming, and hiliarous. I particulary enjoyed the always adorable and incredibly precocious Teddy, who I think stole the show a lot of the times and added a new level of heart to the story. This is the perfect book to usher in the fall holidays and get in the Christms spirit early. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good love story.

My husband looked at my quizzically when I started laughing uncontrollably with my head buried in this book. I haven’t read a romance novel this laugh-out-loud funny in a long time. Peppered with steam between two characters with tense chemistry and all the havoc two sets of families can cause. Teen boys who blame Mallory, their stepmother, for everything—including their father’s death. Gabe’s mother-in-law who would like nothing more than to control his and his son’s lives, and matchmaking friends help to make things go terribly wrong. A small town that knows and judges everything, gossip, and poignant scenes. A shining example of how fun and chaotic Christmas can be, especially when blending families. Heartfelt romance at its best. But this isn't just a Christmas story. It can be enjoyed any time of the year. So, so good.

I guess I read book 1 too long ago to remember a lot of details about it. I didn't remember Mallory at all and felt kind of lost while reading. I thought the whole romance between Mallory and Gabe was a little far fetched (maybe if I remembered Mallory from the first book I would have understood their attraction better). I did like the characters and setting.

If you enjoy Christmas books, you will enjoy this one. This is part of a series, but can be read as a stand alone. Mallory returns to Highland Falls with her step sons. Gabriel is the chief of police, who is widowed and the father of 3 sons. Mallory’s best friend Abby sets her up in house on Reindeer Road next to Gabe’s house. You will fall for Teddy, who is 5 and believes in Christmas wishes. And this Christmas, he hopes his wish for a mom comes true. I enjoyed this book. The storyline was not rushed, like most Christmas stories. Thank you to NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for the E-ARC. This is my own opinion.

Easy read and fun to read! Mallory moves back to hometown of Highland Fall to start a new life with her two stepsons after her husband passes away. She clashes with the police chief Gabe after a dispute with her children. After they figure out what happened they realize they are neighbors on Reindeer Road. Gabe is a widower with three boys and in-laws that disapprove of Mallory. The two are attracted to each other and Gabe’s son Teddy picks her for his new mother. They fight their attraction as his in-laws threaten to take his boys away. Mallory also has to come to terms with her Dad who she thought abandoned her and her past. Lots of love, laughter and sadness at times make this a great read!

Thanks to Debbie Mason and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for this book!

A sweet romance between two people traumatized by bad relationships. Both have strong defenses against falling in love, but it happens anyway.
Both bury themselves in their work , but have strong friendships.
Ms. Mason weaves a sweet and amusing tale with a little intrigue added to the mix. Her characters are well rounded and for the most part extremely likable. She adds a little paranormal...granny in the garden and it hits all the right notes.
Mallory and Valentine heal as they open up to each other and eventually get to their happy-ever- after.
I requested and received a NetGalley ARC and highly recommend this contemporary love story.

Debbie Mason has done it again! This is only my second novel from this author, and I loved it just as much as the first.

Christmas on Reindeer road is the second installment of the Highland Falls series. The first one was Summer on Honeysuckle Ridge. Each of these novels can be read as a stand alone. However, you will appreciate Christmas on Reindeer Road a lot more if you read the first installment.

The descriptive summary of the novel pretty much outlines the story so I won't go into detail on what Christmas on Reindeer road is about. What I will say is that you will laugh at the awkward moments, and you will cry at those poignant moments

Christmas on Reindeer Road is a thoroughly entertaining romance novel which will make you feel warm and fuzzy all over. With a Christmas setting, how else can you not feel comfy and cozy after reading this novel?

4.5 stars rounded up. I really liked this novel. It is a feel good romance with an enchanting ending.

I received a digital ARC from Forever/Grand Central Publishing. The review herein is completely my own and contains my honest thoughts and opinions.

You will love this book! Mallory Maitland's life has been turned upside down and believes that the spirit of Christmas will solve everything. Oliver and Brooks, her stepsons, are still angry you men. Life as they know it ended and are making things as hard for Mallory as possible. Gabriel Buchanan, chief of police, has 3 boy, Dylan and Cody, who are twins and Teddy. Now Teddy is the same as Mallory, he wants to celebrate all things Christmas. When these two meet, plans are hatched. It is going to take all of Highland Falls to make this happen and even a little help from the outside. The ending was just priceless.

This is a fun story, perfect for getting into the sprit of Christmas. The chemistry between Mallory and Gabe is strong, but their reasons for not getting involved are just as strong. What they don’t bargain for, however, is the magic of Christmas that Gabe’s 5 year old totally believes in. Ups and downs, mishaps, good friends, family drama, and the wonderful town of Highland Falls make this an entertaining, heartwarming, and emotional book. I loved it!

We were introduced to Mallory Maitland in Summer on Honeysuckle Ridge and I was wondering what would happen with her back in Atlanta. We also met Chief Gabriel Buchanan when he first arrived in town in the previous book. This book starts with her returning to Highland Falls with her teenage stepsons, who are not happy at all to be with her. They would prefer to be at their boarding school in England, but all of the money from their father's estate ended up going to his first wife and she will not pay for them to go there. They disappear when they stop for a bathroom break close to town and make false accusations of her of mistreating them in an attempt to get back to Atlanta. This leads to social services being involved throughout the book.

Mallory and Gabe become neighbors due to Abby finding the house next door for her to rent. Gabe has his own issues over his three sons with the parents of his deceased wife. This leads to them tiptoeing around their attraction to each other because they do not want to risk losing the boys. Adding in the senior citizens and Abby's videos leads to lots of funny moments in this Christmas story.

I look forward to the next adventure in Highland Falls.

I received a copy of this book to review from the publisher, Forever, through NetGalley and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Every time I read a Debbie Mason book I think this has to be the best one yet. This is no exception. Once I picked it up and started reading it seemed like I was there. I became a member of the little town and couldn't help but be pulled into the story.

The cast of characters were awesome and the words came alive on the page. A must read for the holidays. Another great book by a woman who can tell a story so well that you think you are part of it. Kinda hated for it to end, now I miss the characters.

This was a fun Christmas story covering lots of emotions...love, loss, friendship, reconnecting. It’s easy to fall in love with the characters; most of them anyway. The storyline was fast paced and a real page turner! I was sad to have the book end, and I’m hoping I’ll revisit these characters in the next book in this series. I received a copy of this book from NetGalley and the author. All opinions expressed are my own.
