BEST book in the series for me! Kelly saved the best Wynn for last (so far). I'm so sad to see this series end, although there are a few more Wynn's out there that should get books (IMHO). Jax is just the best man out there, he saves his trivia partner from embarrassment when she dramatically leaves her fiancee at the alter! What comes next is just the most wonderful adventure in finding yourself, healing, forgiving and moving forward with your life. The way Kelly writes is just magnificent.

I'm a longtime Jamieson fan and also enjoyed her writing as Karen Erickson. It's safe to say she made me a hockey fan. The Wynn family hockey series has been hit or miss for me but I liked Game Changer.

I think it's in part because I'm kinda sick of Bad Boys that otherwise sane women can't resist. And by bad, I mean BAD. Borderline sociopathic. I have another favorite author who is on this kick, and teases readers with statements like "I'm in the middle of the sequel to "X" and my hero is just so awful. I love him!" Well I didn't. These guys mostly seem irredeemable to me so it was a relief to encounter Jax in Game Changer. A "good guy" who is NOT boring.

Molly is his Friends to Lovers partner and for once the friendship seems real. They share a lot, have a lot in common, and both want to do the right thing--until they fall in love and it all becomes more complicated. .

Game Changer has Jamieson's by now trademark (mercifully short) foray into public policy/politics,, which I do NOT enjoy. I hate it when I can read a romance novel and discern the author's political preferences. There are better forums than that, but I suspect authors are getting positive feedback as this is increasing. My question is why risk alienating half your reading audience? That's why I knocked off a star in the rating.

The most recent book in the Wynn Hockey series is about the grandson who has stayed away from all the family drama. With the news of his grandfather's worsening condition, he decides to check on him. The only small problem is that he brings along his teammate's fiancee after they discover he was cheating on her. She just wants a break from it all, so Jackson offers to take her with him in a friendly way. This story is about friends, family and learning to adjust. It's about taking care of those around you to build a strong support system that takes care of one another. Jamieson makes you feel right along with the characters of everything they are going through, the heartache, the anger, the sadness, the joy, the relief, all while telling a story that anyone can relate to. Okay maybe not the being from a family of pro hockey players but the issues are all there.

I loved the characters and the storyline development of this book. It was absolutely one of my favorites so far and I can't wait to delve in to the next one. Way to go Kelly!!!

Jackson & Molly’s story was close to my heart. My grandma also had Alzheimer’s so my heart hurt while reading. But it was worth it in the end! I loved Jackson & Molly’s journey.

I voluntarily reviewed this book.

Another winner from the Wynn family hockey series. I really enjoyed Jackson and Molly's relationship especially the fact that they had a foundation of friendship and common interests. Their love of trivia and secret handshake were adorable.

One of my favorite aspects of this book was the lack of drama between Molly, her ex-fiancé, and Jackson, who happens to be Steve's (the ex-fiancé) teammate. I don't want to give away any spoilers but I actually found Steve's reaction upon learning of Molly and Jackson's relationship pretty humorous.

This was a fun read and despite the fact that it opens with Molly leaving Steve at the altar because he was cheating on her, it was pretty low drama, a fact I enjoyed. I would definitely recommend this book.

Game Changer by Kelly Jamieson was a fun and engaging read.

Molly Flynn finds herself with a wedding day she never envisioned and Jackson “Jax” Wynn is her “escape.”

The connection and mutual respect Jackson and Molly had for each other bleed off the pages.

Jax and Molly are friends, trivia partners and when they end up together alone as life throw Molly a knuckle puck (yes some hockey humor) the way these two interact captured my heart. The way Molly listened and encouraged Jax to reach out to his family warmed my heart. These meaningful interactions has the reader knowing these two have each others best interest in mind.

A huge thank you to this author for NOT rushing the physical part of this story, when the physical comes it truly allows the connection these two share to be even more electric.

I adored how this happy wasn’t pushed, that both characters were trying to think really think about the circumstances they find themselves in, it has me convinced this is happy forever.

The how Molly and Jax come to realize they can navigate the obstacles they see standing in the way of their relationship was awesome and it allows for healing and a path forward.

I have been invested in Kelly Jamieson’s Wynn Hockey series from the start. This is a crazy, messed up, dysfunctional family yet with each book they seem to be figuring out how to get past the hurt and anger that tore the family apart and enjoy one another. In Game Changer, the only Wynn not working for a Wynn owned team helps out a friend only to find that friendship isn’t the only thing on both of their minds.

The last thing Jackson (Jax) Wynn expected to be doing at his teammate’s wedding was helping the bride escape after she outed the groom as a lying, cheating snake. Granted the bride is a friend of his and his trivia night partner, but he’s still concerned about how it will affect his team if word gets out. However, he feels the right thing to do is help Molly out and he doesn’t quite know how to say no when she invites herself on his trip to California to check in on his family.

I honestly don’t know what it was, but I loved the friendship between Jackson and Molly. I think it’s because Jax always seems so serious and in control and Molly is a bit freer and not afraid to share her feelings. They complimented one another very well and it was fun watching them try and deny their growing feelings.

I loved that Molly encouraged Jax to open up to his family and talk about things that he never wanted to confront and it was amazing that he actually took her advice and began to work through some difficult situations with his family and begin to learn a lot about himself. Molly spent a great deal of the book sticking her head in the sand and refusing to deal with her ex- fiancé, her family, her friends, and the wedding she ran out on despite Jax encouraging her to deal with it all.

I enjoyed seeing the younger generation of the Wynn family coming together to support their grandfather who is declining from Alzheimer’s disease and his wife. I love all their different personalities and it was interesting seeing them grow as people and realizing they enjoyed one another’s company.

Molly and Jax spend a lot of time together both in California and then in Canada, this is a slow burn romance but it was perfect given the circumstances.

Game Changer was poignant, yet there was fun and romance making it an outstanding story.

About to marry the man she thought she loved, Molly Flynn left her cheating fiance at the altar and escaped with his teammate, who happens to be her friend and trivia partner. Jax Wynne knows letting Molly tag along with him to California over the summer break is a bad idea, but he can’t say no.

As their casual friendship starts to grow quickly into something more, their attraction heats up as well. And, when they agree to a limited time fling, they both think they can walk away unscathed at the end of the summer . . . but they were wrong.

I adored this couple. I loved that they were friends first and had a bond over trivia nights before anything more happened. The progression of their relationship felt easy and organic and it was so clear how good they were for one another. Molly helps Jax acknowledge his feelings and deal with his family issues and Jax helps Molly feel worthy again after being cheated on. And, the rockiness they faced in their relationship just had them appreciating each other even more.

Game Changer also tied up a lot of loose threads dealing with the Wynne family drama and was a really fab read for fans of the series. 5 stars!

Once you've read a few novels by this author you'll see she likes to alternate chapters from the perspective of the male and female lead characters. So when you pick up Game Changer and in Chapter 1 Jackson is going to attend his teammate's wedding to his friend Molly and then Chapter 2 is from Molly's perspective you know that you are in for an interesting ride!

Jackson Wynn is from a famous hockey family and has distanced himself from them over the years. He finally realizes he can't continue doing that because his grandfather has Alzheimer's.

Molly calls off her wedding in a spectacular fashion, but then needs to escape. What better way than to leave Chicago and fly to California with her good friend Jackson?

This was a fun book and I had a hard time putting it down. I look forward to hearing more about the Wynn family in the future.

Jax is the Wynn who just wants to keep his distance and play hockey on his terms. Molly thought she found the man of her dreams, to watch them shatter at the altar. She turns to her trivia partner in crime Jax to take her away from the chaos that her life was in. Molly and Jax work in ways they did not realize as the hockey break consumes their lives. I want to visit this lake and see the beauty of Canada now. Relationships are never easy and this book proves it. Adored seeing Wynn family from past books and can't wait to read more.

It’s Jackson Wynn’s turn to have his story told! I enjoyed this one so much. Molly finds herself in need of a getaway....from her own wedding day and Jackson finds himself with a vacation mate. I loved that Molly and Jackson were strictly friends while she was engaged to Steve. I love this crazy family and can’t wait for the next book.

Okay, first I must mention that as far as beginnings go in a book, this Wynn book is a #win!! (I can never write Wynn for the #win enough lolol) Second, I have so much love for not only Jackson and Molly but the storyline as well that I am ridiculously bursting! My heart is so darn full you guys! There’s more to Game Changer than just a romance journey between Molly and Jax. There’s the Wynn family as well. I know I’ve said this before, but I mean it this time lol, THIS is the best Wynn of them all!!!

Jackson and Molly are two of my favorite people right now. They were so good for each other. It wasn’t a one way thing. Molly had a lot to adjust to, obviously, but so did Jackson. They both had struggles outside of navigating a romance together and they were each other’s perfect ally. This was spectacularly swoony. ALL OF IT. From their romantic times to their sexy times to their building friendship to just all of it. I smiled a lot while I read this story and I also had a couple tears. Not because the story itself was s ad, quite the opposite, it was just overwhelming at times between the family dynamics and the team dynamics all being so positive. It’s one of the best *happy sigh* I have experienced in a while!

READ THIS BOOK. READ THIS FAMILY. Seriously.

Messed up families are the story of Jackson's life, So when he discovers that his grandfather has Alzheimer's he takes it as a sign from fate to make amends and put things right. Its the end of hockey season and he's looking forward to a quiet vacation with his family. Having a tag along is the last thing he wants or needs but when Molly seeks refuge with him after being betrayed by his best friend at the altar, he cannot tell her no.

The last thing he expects is for him to acknowledge that Molly is starting to feel more than just a friend. He's the poster boy of a commitment-phobe and Molly deserves everything good in her life. And losing her is the last thing he wants. Bad Boys sometimes need to change their plans.

I had taken a break from hockey romance for a while and have recently started to pick them up again. This is part of a series but I was able to read it as a stand alone. I was drawn to this because it is a jilted bride story. The story opens with Molly walking down the aisle and when it is time to say her vows, she reads texts from her intended to another woman. She flees the ceremony with the help of her friend Jackson. It is the hockey off-season and they flee to Jackson’s offseason home.

This book is friends to lovers. Although I wish I knew a little bit more about their friendship, so that was the one thing I probably missed from previous books. Molly and Jackson’s relationship develops nicely. They have an attraction to each other but know that they “can’t” be together because of her failed wedding and because Jackson is the teammate of her ex.

There is a scene where Jackson masturbates while he thinks Molly is sleeping and then Molly masturbates while Jackson is in the shower. This was very HOT.

Overall the book was cute and a quick read. It delivered a solid story and I believed in their relationship and was rooting for them to get their HEA. The conflict was minimal and not too angsty.

If you like hockey, I think Jamieson is a sure bet.

It's a challenge to read hearts. Yet, Jamieson continues to accept that challenge by proving herself quite adept at doing so. Game Changer brings back one of my favorite families. The Wynns are always welcome on my bookshelves. From their grace of character to their strength of heart, they don't hesitate to make an impression. However, it's the least seen amplified flaws in their character that continue to draw me. Foolish pride, huge ego and fear of vulnerability are a constant when dealing with a Wynn. Molly and Jackson are the lastest in a long line of unlikely matches. They shouldn't work, but you so what them to. Unpredictable is a beautiful thing when you are getting to know your heart.

LOVE this one.... the Wynn family is full of drama, but there is a lot of love in that drama. I really love Jax, Jackson, he was pretty amazing and Molly, was to die for. I loved her courage, her wit and her quirkinesses. Friends with a common interest of trivia and her soon to be husband and Jax's teammate. Wedding date set for Molly and the unthinkable happens the night before..... so much wedding drama and then..... where to go? Jax, comes into check on her and ends up taking her home and in a matter of hours, she is planning on tagging a long on his trip to California to see his family. One thing leads to another and their friendship grows and their understanding for who each other are grows deeper. Their week vacation, turns into a summer get away as she can't even think about staying in Chicago for the summer and facing all that is there for her. Little do they know the trouble they are both in as their feelings turn from friends to lovers.... but it this a love that will last? There are so many challenges for this relationship.... will it last or is it a true summer fling?

I so LOVED Jackson and watching his figure out his feelings and his family. How things that happened in the past shaped his future, but he did not have all the information and as he finds out, it changes his outlook on life. LOVED it.....

4 star

I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, laughs, naughty fun, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Play to Win (Wynn Hockey #1)
In It to Win It (Wynn Hockey #2)
Win Big (Wynn Hockey #3)
For the Win (Wynn Hockey #4)

This is Molly and Jackson’s story. Jackson needs to go home and see his family, but he has a wedding for his teammate first. When that wedding becomes crazy drama, he leaves but the bride Molly who was betrayed needs a place to hide out. He allows her to stay with him as he is leaving the next day. When Molly asks to go with him to meet his family, he is not onboard but allows her to come. What happens when you fall for the one you should not? She comes with a lot of drama can he deal with that? His family is crazy, and they all love her, but does that mean he should also? What happens when he is back with his teammates?

I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I recommend this book.

Molly left her fiance at the alter after reading his cheating text messages. Jackson is Molly's friend and went to check on her and ended up "keeping" her all summer. It was a good book, I just wasn't as drawn into this one as the other ones in the past. I couldn't feel the chemistry between Jackson and Molly but it was a good story. I do like this author and one so so book would not deter me from reading more :)
