Hanna is back and reeling from the revelations made at the end of the last book Love Bites. In this episode Hanna gets to meet some of her heroes from the art world who just happen to be long lived werewolves. That is until now because someone is killing them off. This story sucked me in and kept me flipping pages till the bombshell at the end. This book can be read standalone but is so much better if you’ve read the first. I am anxiously awaiting the next installment.

When new threats and crazy werewolves follow her every steps, whom to trust ...

First thing to say I hate the author, she had me on edge for almost the whole book because of the opening scene.
After, I loved this book even more than the first one. When I often think the middle book in a trilogy is the weak one as it just ties some knots but leaves most for the last installment.
But here, the story was going better and better chapter after chapter. I did even forgive her Morrison’s lapse.
Sorry I felt like Hanna was cheating on Mark.
I still had my moments at being upset because of Hanna’s denial and blindness. Yet, Abernathy is so uptight at revealing nothing, I can also see from her point of view how trusting him is not an easy thing.
When things looked like crazy in the first book, here it reaches an other level. From the many artists showing up, the werewolf alphas in a frenzy hunt, a new sleuthing with an other unexpected villain and Hanna’s past getting a new top-notch revelation, it was quite a rollercoaster ride.
My only complain was Abernathy being an absentee for a too long part of this tale.

4.5 stars for a tale loaded like a cheese platter, so many choices and options, suspense, murders, threats, paranormal beings, secrets ...

Now, the end of the year seems very far away to await for the last book.

I was granted an advance copy by the publisher, here is my true and unbiased opinion.
