The Bromance Book Club (the first book in the series) was so good! But sadly, book 2 and now book 3 fell flat. The characters were so boring and the storyline was just too much. I will continue to read the series though.

This may possibly be my favorite of this series so far!!! I love this cast of characters and Lyssa Kay Adams has such a fun way of writing that it’s so hard to put her books down. And this one has CATS!!!! I LOVED IT!! Beefcake made me die of laughter each time he came onto the page I swear. I loved Noah and how sweet and caring he was toward Alexis. I also really connected with Alexis and felt for her so much with the sexual assault trauma she was going through. I really appreciated how they both learned forgiveness and dealt with all their issues with the family. It was a really sweet friends to lovers story but it did have that hilarious romantic comedy vibe as well. It was a great balance!!! I loved seeing Mack and Liv and their wedding stuff ahh that was so funny and so cute!! I love this world and I’m so excited to read the next one!!

I have enjoyed all of these in this series and this one was no exception. I liked that this one delves more into the issue of women finally sticking up for themselves and I enjoyed that Noah is not only her best friend and supports her but also is in love with her and wants to help her along the way. I wish she would have given in and realized earlier that she had a support system with him but it worked out in the end! I also of course love she owns a cat cafe. I can't see what else happens in this series!

Okay, so I love Noah and Alexis – they’re so comfortable with each other and so good at respecting one another’s boundaries and space, even as friends. The conflict they experience (cause that’s why we’re here, right?) is realistic, if not a little bit over the top. While I understand why it happened, it was a little frustrating at times to see many of their problems unsolved due to a lack of communication (which is even hyperbolized by Mack).

As a whole, communication (or lack thereof) was the main crux of this book. Between Alexis and Candi, the family and Alexis, Alexis and Noah, Noah and his family, it was all just a problem. I get Noah – he speaks through technology, he’s not a people person, but I was surprised that Alexis was a really impulsive and emotional reactor, because I didn’t get that feel from her in the past. They end up resolving a lot of things, but there were a lot of problems in that department (especially from Candi, she was a big problem…).

I also feel like there were a couple of loose ends at the end of the book. I had a few questions that were left unanswered and I wish they were – particularly regarding Karen (if you know, you know). But I did love how everything fell into place at the end – paving the way to show how communication can make or break a relationship of any kind and it’s important to be open if you want to understand other people’s point of view.

Was this my favourite of the Bromance Bookclub stories? I’m going to say no – the plot was kind of everywhere and I wish the main storyline connected more with the book he was reading – I would’ve appreciated more excerpts to connect the dots for us, or foreshadow better. Did I still enjoy it? 100%, it just wasn’t my favourite.

Not as big of a fan of this one as others in the series - feel like it has kind of run it's course! I would still recommend The Bromance Book Club and Undercover Bromance,

I absolutely loved this book! I was so engrossed by the characters right off the bat. Her writing is out of this world, if you've been in a reading slump this is a great place to start, it absolutely blew me away!

Super fun, and definitely excited to read the next in series. I appreciate the story that includes both a swoonworthy romance and some more serious topics, as it makes for a well-rounded reading experience.

Literally couldn't love this series more. The couple has such perfect chemistry, and the friends to lovers trope was used so well here!

I looooove this series. I love the premise, I love the breaking down of misogynic expectations and I love the characters. Noah was another 10/10 protagonist.

This series keeps getting better and better. I love the banter between all the men in the book club and I especially loved this friends-to-lovers plot. You could tell from the first page that Alexis and Logan really, deeply cared for one another on such a genuine level and I was sobbing through the whole thing.

Ahh this book! The Bromance Book Club is proving itself to be an auto-buy series for me, and this book just kind of sealed the deal. Noah was a character I’ve been waiting to get more of, so Crazy Stupid Bromance was a must-read! I grew to love Noah in the previous book, so I was stoked to see how Noah and Alexis’ relationship would grow. Their friendship was so awesome and all in all, I loved the friends to lovers storyline. The tension and ~yearning~ was so satisfying and I loved getting to see their romantic relationship develop. More than that, though, I was heavily engaged in their own personal journeys. Noah was a bit of an enigma in the previous book, and his relationship with his mother and step-father gave a lot of background to Noah’s character. I loved Alexis and was rooting for her the whole time, but her father and his family’s sudden reappearance into her life took this book in a far different direction than I had anticipated. I really disliked her family and personally struggled with Alexis’ kidney donation storyline, so I don’t think this book will be something I reach for when I need a comfort read. All in all though, it was still a fun and charming book absolutely worthy of this series!

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. I tried so many times to get into this book as so many people have loved it. I'm hoping that I can get an audio copy and try again because so many people have recommended it to me.

In the second book of the Bromance Book Club series, Undercover Bromance, Alexis was the victim of sexual harrassment at the restaurant where she worked. Due to the case of #metoo as her ex-boss was a celebrity chef, her life hasn't been the same since. Now Alexis has started a successful cat café, in part due to the fact that she is now a household name. One of her newest customers approaches her and tells her that they are sisters. Alexis cannot believe that this is true so she asks her best friend and computer security expert, Noah Logan, to find out if this is at all possible.

This is just perfect for Noah. He loves Alexis. Of course he does, as they are best friends. But, for Noah it is far more. He is desperately in love with her. With the extra time they will be spending together researching the claim the woman made to Alexis, Noah hopes he can find a way to tell her how he feels. Noah does have an ace up his sleeve. He and his buddies are part of a book club where they make life lessons out of the romance books they read. Noah is hopeful that their current book will offer him the tools he needs to get Alexis to see his true feelings.

This book was just as enjoyable as the first two. I loved Noah and Alexis, the drama surrounding Alexis, the friends-to-lovers trope and Noah's friends and their interpretations of the books that they read.

Many thanks to Berkley and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

Another great installment in this beloved series by Lyssa Kay Adams! I just love the idea of men reading romance -- can we turn this into a reality? Adams is a blessing to the romance community. I can't wait to read the last book in the series!

I’m kind of a sucker for this series. I don’t know. I enjoy this group of high-powered seemingly-macho-alpha men who have formed a book club that reads romance novels so they can learn to be better men and to be better participants in relationships. It’s just a concept that I enjoy so much.

I like that we get to see the guys meeting up to discuss the books they’re reading, and I like that we sometimes get to read snippets from those books. What I really enjoy is when the guys can see one of the others of the group acting poorly and they call him out on his crap. Honestly I think we need more men in the world who are willing to call out their fellow men when they’re being sexist or pig-headed or just outright jerks.

Noah and Alexis’s tale is that of friends-to-lovers, and Noah has known for a while that he is crushing on her, but we get to see Alexis as she starts to crush on Noah, though neither of them says anything or makes any moves.

Both Noah and Alexis have some past issues they need to work through, and it causes tension for their relationship, both on a friendship level, and on a budding romance level. But with a little bit of communication, a little bit of desire to not lose their friendship while also forging something else, and of course with a little bit of help from the Bromance Book Club, perhaps everything will work out.

It’s not really a spoiler to say that things work out, right? I mean, a book can’t be fully classified as romance if there’s not a happily ever after, or technically a happily for now. Otherwise the book is a fantasy with romance elements or a historical with romance elements, or whatever.

I also love that the guys are so gung-ho about the “Grand Gesture,” and that they insist on always running for the grand gesture. I think it’s utterly adorable.

While I was excited for this story, because I enjoyed getting to know both Noah and Alexis a little bit in the previous Bromance Book Club novel, I will say that nothing compared to how I felt when I heard that the next book was to be the Russian’s story…and I’ll have that review up in a couple weeks.

CRAZY STUPID BROMANCE was a heavier read for The Bromance Book Club Series (book 3).

TW: Mentions of sexual assualt/victim blaming, loss of a parent, parental abandonment, death by war, DNA matches/unknown family

Alexis and Noah's friends to lovers story was a good read especially as these two characters don't play major roles in the beginning of the series. Alexis or foundly dubbed "Lexa'' by Noah, runs a cat cafe. After exposing her sexual assaulter to the media, other sexual harassment and assualt survivors find solace in Alexis's cafe as a place to share their stories and find peace.

Alexis faces a lot in this story - from a curmudgeonly neighbor to suddenly finding a never before known family. Alexis is asked to donate a kidney to help save her Dad she's never met. All the while, she begins a relationship with her best friend Noah and manages her busy store. This book details her maturity and her path to recovery from trauma.

There is a lot of great content in this book. While it has darker themes than the other Bromance book club books, the themes are so integral to the experiences of many assault survivors. While Noah and Alexis weren't my favorite love story, their coming together made me genuinely happy for these characters to get their HEA.

Crazy Stupid Bromance is the third instalment in the Bromance Book Club series. Alexis’s life has been a bit crazy lately. She owns her own cat café, which has become a meeting ground for woman who have experienced sexual harassment, and uncovers a family secret. She also is in love with her best friend, Noah. Noah is also in love with Alexis and reluctantly receives help from the Bromance Book Club. Adams delivers a funny romantic novel that also touches on major issues- the after effect of speaking out about sexual harassment, forgiveness, compassion, and trust.

Adams’ 3rd in her contemporary Bromance Book Club series is sweet, heartbreaking and laugh-out-loud funny all at the same time. Her stars for this, friends to lovers, installment are over the top yet still very relatable and the close group of friends are there to circle the wagons and to hit them upside the head when they do stupid things and to top it all off there’s Alexis’s catzilla. Then there’s the Bromance Book Club members, real men who aren’t afraid to show their feelings. This novel also shines an important light on the #metoo movement and organ transplantation. Fans of contemporary romance will love this series.

The Bromance Book Club is about to get a new member albeit kicking and screaming but Noah Logan needs help to tell his BFF that he wants more. His friends in the club try to convince him that all his answers are between the pages of a romance novel. If it will help Noah get the girl, he’s all for it.

Alexis Carlisle has been through a lot since she went public about being sexually harassed by a celebrity chef, now she’s a successful café owner and her café’s doors are always opened to other victims who need help. One thing she knows is that she couldn’t have done it without the help of her bestie, Noah, but lately she’s been having thoughts of Noah in other ways, like naked. She’s just not sure she’s willing to jeopardize her friendship for what could turn out to be the biggest mistake of her life.

Friends to lovers is my favorite trope, so of course I was drawn to Noah and Alexis' story. Add to that that this is a Bromance Book Club story? Yes, please!

It was nice to see this friendship really consider what it means to go beyond just being friends. I appreciated the time it took for both Noah and Alexis to realistically figure things out, and not just have an instant love like other stories do.

As always, Adams' writing is perfection, filled with witty banter, sexy tension, and just a sweet romance perfect for a reader's escape. I really enjoyed that this specific story spent time talking about unresolved issues stemming from the past, and working towards a resolution. It paralleled well with their own friendship, and I really related to it.

Amazing read, and I think I'm on a third reread already!
