Such a fun read that I powered through in 2 days. Miscommunication isn't a driving force here and it's refreshing to see the relationship develop in a believable and beautiful way. It's a romance, a belated coming-of-age, a story of found family, and more. Somehow, this series only got better.

Crazy Stupid Bromance
By Lyssa Kay Adams

Crazy Stupid Bromance is book three of the Bromance series and it just keeps getting better and better. In this latest addition we are focused on Noah Logan – hacker extraordinaire and Alexis Carlisle ToeBeans owner of a delightful cat café who have been friends since forever. How can the Bromance Club get geeky Noah and Gorgeous Alexis to move beyond this friendly safe zone to igniting some sparks into some hot romance.

I really enjoyed this funny and swoony romcom. A fantastic afternoon read I lost myself in.

I am loving the guys from the Bromance Bookclub. This book was so sweet, I love a good friends to lovers romance. Crazy Stupid Bromance cheeked all the boxes. Noah and Alexis are so perfect for each other. This was a fast fun read. I can’t wait for the next book.

The smell of rich coffee permeates the air. The sun filters through the front windows, creating a serene warmth as you sip the hot brew. A cat mirroring the image of Grumpy Cat lounges on the cat tree in the corner and you take in the soft chatter of the other patrons in the cafe. Your heart beats erratically as you try to process everything that’s happening in your life right now. Things have gotten turned completely upside down and everything seems to be spinning wildly out of control.

Crazy Stupid Bromance was another fantastic book continuing this wonderful series. A romance that gave you all the fluttery heart eyes, but also some heavy topics that made you feel. A deep, gutting emotional connection. I love when a romance incorporates real life scenarios, things that really make you feel and relate to the characters in a deeper way. This book delivered that.

I absolutely adored Alexis and Noah. I love a good friends to lovers romance and this one did not disappoint. While book one of this series is still my favorite, I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend this one, too.

This is a solidly entertaining series! Having enjoyed the other books, I was excited for Undercover Bromance. I loved Noah, and I though he and Alexis were so sweet. However, something about the pacing of this novel felt a little off to me. There might have been one twist and turn of drama too much? Work drama, family drama, couple drama-- it was a lot. I lost track of our leading couple for a little bit because there was so much extra happening in both of their lives. And I can always always use more of the Book Club! Definitely still worth reading if you were a fan of the other Bromance Book Club titles, but not as cohesive as the first two books in the series.

Predictable but enjoyable. Not sure I will read the next in the series, if there is one. It is just so bad at portraying Nashville...

The series reminds me of the refrain me of a Sheryl crow song: “are you strong enough to be my man?” because the premise of the bromance book club revolves around a specific type of strength—the internal fortitude it takes to push aside pride in the name of love and become a good partner. As the book shows, that kind of strength sometimes goes against the typical conventions of masculinity. As the book shows, that kind of strength sometimes goes against the typical conventions of masculinity.

The logic of the book club is straightforward: if romance novels reflect women’s fantasies, then couldn’t a man use them to learn what women really want and adjust his wayward behavior accordingly? It’s a kind of social learning experiment—the men learn by observing and then emulating or avoiding the behaviors that work for or against the men in these stories.

Crazy Stupid Bromance is the third go around. The other guys are now veterans and they try to rather forecefully impose their insights on the reluctant and skeptical friend Noah, a former computer hacker turned cyber security expert introduced in book 2. Noah still harbors anger from his father’s untimely death in the military. That volatility and his fear of ruining his relationship with his best friend and potential love of his life are the major hurdles in this book on his side. But his love interest Alexis is dealing with major family drama.

I got the sense that all the external drama was designed to disguise the fact that Noah and Alexis are already essentially in a committed romantic relationship. They just aren’t having sex and haven’t admitted it. They already prioritize each other and rely on each other and their attraction is mutual. Fear and lack of communication get in the way of him finding lasting love with his best friend. But that’s resolved pretty easily.

So your enjoyment will hinge on your tolerance for family plots that don’t have anything to do with the couple.
I was mixed on that. Noah’s anger and volatility feel a little artificial and at one point he’s the victim of an act of violence by a man his mother is involved with and there’s an implication that the aggression towards Noah is ultimately not that big of a deal, that his mother might have a future with that man even though he’s caused Noah a lot of emotional pain over the years in addition to the physical incident. His mom admits she should have intervened years ago in the mistreatment, but Noah also says that maybe she should reconcile and forgive the guy because he loves her. It’s murky. Noah is imperfect, but I’m not a fan of both sidesing emotional abuse and physical violence from a man who was a father figure. I’m really uncomfortable with that subplot, and it detracted a bit from my enjoyment of the book.

Overall, Crazy Stupid Bromance is a fun, engaging escape with a few original touches and sweet characters who really care for each other. Noah and Alexis are lovely. I just wish the book focused more on them.

As always, Lyssa Kay Adams does not disappoint Crazy Stupid Bromance. Another great book in this series. The only thing I could do without? An evil cat. I have enough fear of cats already :)

CRAZY STUPID BROMANCE is the third book in the Bromance Book Club novels. This is a series of stand-alone RomComs. I do have to say that this one is a lot steamier and less comedic than the previous two books. One of the things I loved most about this series was the banter between the men during "book club" and some of the scenes actually made me laugh out loud. I didn't find those scenes as abundant in this one.

Although it was missing some of my favorite parts about the other Bromance Book Club novels, I enjoyed the story overall and the romance was very sweet. Alexis and Noah's romance is an endearing best friends to lovers story. When their romance finally ignites, things heat up in a hurry! Woowee *fans self*.... these scenes are not for public reading. LOL!

Overall this was another great installment and I can't wait to read "The Russian's" romance! He's most definitely one of my favorite characters in this series and I imagine we will get some more comedy in his story.

This was a lot of fun! I enjoyed this continuation of Adams's phenomenal first book in the series, and the food world-setting was engagingly done. I was a wee bit uncomfortable with turning the "me too" movement into a caper story, but it sure was easy to read.

MINOR SPOILERS:

Crazy Stupid Bromance was one of the best romance books I've read in my recent memory. I instantly fell in love with this world and the characters, This novel is apart of a bigger universe that revolves around a book club where men read romance books to inform their own love lives. The book does so many things right, we have men actively working against toxic masculinity, women coming forward and healing from sexual assault and harassment as a community and a really lovable romance. I really enjoyed how much meaning and substance this book had and I am looking forward to purchasing the rest of the series and loving them!

Another home run in the fabulous Bromance series. Lyssa Kay Adams is the real MVP! She writes such engaging stories the perfect blend of swoon and humor. this time we get a heartwarming friends to lovers story with all the feels. Alexis and Noah are the best of friends. They share the same nerdy interests and can complete one another’s sentences. But Noah is ready to take things to the next level - enter the Bromance Book Club. A Group of men determined to win the hearts of their soulmates and keep them happy. This is done through reading Romance books and supporting one another. So with the help of this motley Crue will Noah find his way out of the friend zone?

So much fun! Loved both Alexis and Noah and seriously cannot imagine either of them with anyone else. Their nerd status was high and I mean that in the best possible way! Noah was just such a rock as Alexis was going through some pretty crazy stuff. I thought the entire long lost sister/father needing a kidney was a great addition to the story. As usual the BBC added so much humor to the story. I especially loved when the men went to a spa four the bachelor party and had no idea what to do about the massage. I would be remiss if I did not mention Beefcake the protective cat, one major obstacle in Noah and Alexis‘s relationship. another fantastic installment in this fabulous series! Looking forward to the next book, I heard a rumor it’s about the Russian and I cannot wait!

*** Big thank you to Berkley for my gifted copy of this book. All opinions are my own. ***

I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't this, in a good way! I mean it has everything from lovely to serious: cats, best friends to lovers, difficult decisions, a bromance bookclub, dismantling of toxic masculinity, and support for survivors of sexual harassment. There is depth to the characters and their stories, but also all the warm feelings of a good romance.

Alexis' world has already been turned upside down because of harassment at an old job when she gets involved in family problems for a family she didn't know she had. While her best friend Noah tries to be there for Alexis, his friends in the bromance book club try to help him.

Definitely recommend for a feel-good romance that will make you feel a bit better about the world we live in.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for providing me with an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review. My opinions are all my own.

Crazy Stupid Bromance 🐱

Welp..... we all know I LOVE this series, and let me tell you this third installment did not disappoint one bit!

We pick up with Alexis and Noah, battling the bad guys and finding family in the most unexpected places.

This book is a slow build of friends to lovers and it keeps your rooting for Noah the entire time! Through every struggle, every trial and tribulation, every break down and pushing away, the man is an absolute rock in his feelings and being there for the one he loves, but also most importantly being there for his best friend. With the help of the Bromance Bookclub, Noah is certain to finally bust out of the friend zone!
Alexis is a freaking bad ass fighter that on top of dealing with her own shit is dealt a hand that no one could be prepared for and she has to decide if she can make room in her heart for a family that was never there before.

If you haven’t added this series to your shelves yet, you are seriously missing out on some of the best romance reads of 2020!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Bromance Book Club (the first book in the series) was so good! But sadly, book 2 and now book 3 fell flat. The characters were so boring and the storyline was just too much.

Noah was a bit frustrating for me but I think I enjoyed this one the most so far. The humor was spot on, I laughed out loud A LOT. I'm really looking forward to more in this series!

This was another fun, fast read in the Bromance Book Club series and one I read at the perfect time. I read this during the presidential election, and this took my mind off the anxiety that I was feeling.

This series is so fun, and I find myself laughing while reading. I loved the two characters, and seeing their relationship develop from friendship to romance. I loved how supportive Noah is of Alexis. I also really enjoyed the family aspect of the novel, and seeing Alexis come to terms with family stuff that overwhelmed her.

Overall this was a cute book and a great addition to the series. I cannot wait for the next book.

Not my favorite instalment in the series (that was book 2). Let's break it down.

I appreciated
- That the book inside the book is less present in the story. I never really cared for them and I don't think they put the point across (maybe a bit on the first book)
- I really appreciated Alexis as a character, more than any other character's we've met since the beginning of the series. She's got a heart on her sleeve, but she's fierce and very self-aware.
- One of the drama scenes in this is the biggest (very entertaining) shit-show I've ever read. I was thoroughly entertained.
- I also really connected with the characters when they talked about grieving a parent. I believe the writer must have gone through that too to put it into the right perfect words. I really did not expect to find that in this book but I really appreciated it.
- I like family stories, so I appreciated how family was important in this.

Some complaints :
- Noah has some important issues and that's not making me root for him. I feel like he wants to protect Alexis so much that he gets in the way of her making her own decisions (not that she let him affect her, because she's stronger than that). His toxic (and violent) behavior was never addressed and it deeply rebukes me.
- There was less time spent with the guys from the bromance book club. It's both a bad and good thing. Bad because I appreciate these scenes, but good because they feel so staged. Their conversations are never naturals in the way things are said and it's a bit cringe to read even though I appreciate a lot what's being said.
- At this point in the series the characters feels way too much like each other. Their personality are not clear enough and it's become potâto-potato.
- I feel like the ending was really rushed. Everything happens really quickly and things that were problems all throughout the books get resolve too easily. We really see a lack of development and details compared to the beginning of the book.

The next installment in the series is about "The Russian" and I won't be reading it. I never really liked his comic-relief-fart-joke-cutsie role in the series. The fact that he is a completely ridiculous character called only "The Russian" (no name) leaves a sour taste in my mouth and it reminds me of all the immigrants whose names people don't even bother trying to say because "they're too hard"... I think we saw more of him in this one, probably in preparation for the next book, but I'm still not interested. The books are just starting to feel too similar for my interest to still be peeked.
