Trap N Trace, the fourth book in the Federal K-9 series by Tee O’Fallon, keeps the momentum going with this latest intriguing and captivating installment. From the first paragraph, the suspense and tension grab hold and keep the pages turning until the end.
With a ”Who Done It” storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat and with an unexpected culprit revealed at the end of a very gratifying rollercoaster ride of uncertainty, this could not have been a more absorbing story.
This ARC book was complimentary…provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

I just absolutely had so much fun and I was so sad to turn the last page. I can’t wait to read more wonderful stories from this author.

I started this series with book four and I wish I had read the first three first. Not that this can't be read as a stand alone, but because I enjoyed it a lot and want more.
I loved the mystery and suspense, the romance and the dog. I think that is what made this book unique is the K-9 aspect.
Looking forward to reading the full series as I immediately added them to my TBR list.

I love this series. Can’t get enough of this authors work. She writes some of the best romantic Suspense books. She definitely knows how to write great characters, plot, setting, and romance. I will definitely be reading more of her work. If you liked the other books in series, then you will most definitely like this one.

Someone is trying to kill one of the richest women in the city. When Kat finds not one but 2 bodies, one of them being a friend. It is up to Dayne to figure out who it is, and keep her safe while doing it. This book is filled with action, romance, suspense, and 2 of the cute dogs.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley, The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own

Another enjoyable book by Tee O’Fallon! Trap N Trace is the story of a mega-rich woman who finds a dead woman when she tries to return the woman’s dog. Now she is the one in danger! And naturally, there is a hunky FBI agent you watch over her.
The story was good, and the characters made it that way. Both were nice people, and that makes a book so much better. The action is paced so that the reader never knows when something dangerous is about to happen. Five stars for such a good book!

An entertaining and well written romantic suspense. A well crafted plot and believable characters. I received an advance ebook from the publisher and this is my unbiased review.

4.5 - I really enjoyed this book and will definitely check the previous books in this series. I loved the chemistry between Dayne and Kat. I also loved the romantic suspense aspect of the book. It is always nice having a side story that is happening at the side of a story especially when it is a mystery. I really like how they made the murderer unpredictable. It was nice being in the investigation alongside them instead of it being the central story. There was the classic break up because Dayne felt that he couldn't fit into her life because of her wealth and because of the compromises they would have to make to be together. The break up was really short though which I appreciated. I will definitely read this again if I need a good romance.
*Thank you Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for a copy of this for an honest review.*

A great heartwarming story between an FBI agent and wealthy socialite Katrina. I loved the book the action, suspense, mystery, the dogs, and how love blossoms between a hard-hearted agent and a woman who just wants to be loved. Both Kat and Dayne are really great persons and easy to love. Together they make a likable beach read.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

What a suspenseful storyline that keeps you guessing! Finding a lost puppy at her shelter, wealthy Katrina researches the owner and on her way home returns it to their owner. This is where things go badly – instead of returning the puppy she finds the owner, a former FBI agent, dead. Taking the puppy home, she realizes she needs supplies from the shelter and later that night when she goes to pick some up, finds another murder except this one is in process! Attacked but not dead, Dayne decides to keep watch of Katrina while they try to find out why both women were killed and what the motive was. As they find out more information, they initially think the killer is after Katrina, which would make somewhat sense because of her wealthy status, but the truth will shock you! I loved the different twists and turns throughout this storyline that kept me guessing not only who the murderer was but also the motive behind it all. And throughout the suspense, Katrina finds the love she always wished for with Dayne, although not without the back and forth and doubts that typically happen. This was my first book from Tee but I absolutely loved it and I will definitely be going back and reading the books previous in the series.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

There something about a pet companion in romance novels, especially when the pet is a talented and is able to help their character. K-9 canines are talented and Rene was no exception . She broke the ice and did what we were hoping we could do in situations that we didn’t like
Her human Dayne was the perfect protector for our heroine Kat. Katrina wasn’t a pushover though. She was one of those people who went above their calling. She used her money for the purpose of good and was doing fine until danger enter her life.
And their paths collided. Dayne was a someone who made lemonade out of lemons. He rose above his beginnings and became a FBI handler. However he hasn’t found the one who made his heart beat until Katrina came into his life .
Their chemistry was obvious and the fast past helped as the two went on their day to day changed by what Kat saw. However there a was big but in this relationship that was hampered by the murderer out there. Their vastly different upbringings and style of life which met they saw life differently. It helped that Kat was such an sweetheart about helping others and wanted to help.
It helped smooth over the hang ups that Dayne had and made this protector fall hard though through this case which was tidy up nicely through some action and suspense. O’Fallen brought this story to life well. There was the right mix of romantic moments and the mystery which allowed for the bond to really be cemented and make sense.
Kat and Dayne were made for each other and it took it sweet time but the rewards were sweet. Rene was the perfect introduction and help to bring them together even if made for some awkward moments. It was easy read and this Federal K – 9 series. is a interesting take on this world
If you haven’t picked up one of O’Fallen books you may be missing out and won’t discover this talented author. With a great hook and reversal of fortune, this story was a thrill from start to finish .

Trap ‘N’ Trace is the fourth book in Tee O’Fallon’s fast-paced and exciting Federal K-9 series, and while I highly recommend reading the entire series from the very beginning; this instalment proves that you can easily enjoy the stories as standalones. Ms Fallon has a smooth ebb and flow to her writing style which enables the reader to follow along nicely and relate to the characters and the storyline too. Great character development, an intriguing plot, furry friends and heart pounding chemistry; what more can a reader want? I’m thoroughly enjoying this romantic suspense series and hope there is much more to come.

To anyone that doesn’t know Kat she may appear to be a privileged princess but that couldn’t be further from the truth. She has a huge heart when it comes to her dog rescue shelter but she has been hurt in the past by people who want her for what she can do for them rather than who she is so she is cautious about those she allows close.
Dayne is an FBI agent whose lifestyle couldn’t be any different from Kat’s and he has no interest in getting involved with someone who is rich and famous. When Kat comes across the murder scene of his friend and former colleague it brings them together especially when it brings peril to her door.
Dayne and his canine partner Remy are tasked with not only solving the case but keeping Kat safe as well. Full of intrigue, surprises and adventure Kat and Dayne may just realize that they aren’t that different after all.

Most of you guys already know I’m a romantic suspense junkie (thank you, Nora Roberts, for spawning my addiction!). So, of course, I was going to read Trap ‘N Trace. I’ve read all of the Federal K-9 series books and have absolutely enjoyed my time in this world that Tee O’Fallon has dreamt up for us. They are all standalone titles, but in addition to being a romantic suspense junkie, I’m a series junkie, so I always recommend all of the books in a series. Even with standalone books, I still think you get a better reading experience when you read them all. But truthfully, that is JUST me and my humble opinion.
NICUnurse’s Rating: I always play this game when I read romantic suspense. I try to figure out the twists and turns and who is the bad guy in each book. The ones that I really enjoy the most are the ones that I can’t figure it out until the climax of the story. Trap ‘N Trace totally won this game as I did NOT see that final twist coming. The breadcrumbs dropped along the way were small enough to keep me following the trail without being able to pinpoint where this story was going to end. Needless to say, it kept me turning the pages and not wanting to put my iPad down, even when I needed to. I loved the conflict between the hero and heroine’s worlds. One is firmly planted in the upper echelon of society (Katrina) and one is firmly rooted in the middle class (Dayne). With such a huge gap in their lives and life experiences, having a relationship work between these two is a huge challenge. If you want to know if they are up to the challenge, you’ll need to read the book! Romantic suspense fans, it’s hard to be disappointed in a book by Tee O’Fallon, so I wholeheartedly recommend this book and all of her Federal K-9 series books…and any of her other books!
I give Trap ‘N Trace by Tee O’Fallon 4 out of 5 stars!

Excellent book! I love this entire series and this one just makes it all the better. Excellent writing gives the story a nice easy flow and the characters are well developed and intriguing. The perfect recipe for a relaxing read. Through in a great dog like Remy and you have a sure winner. Put this one at the top of the tbr pile. I highly recommend it.

I loved this romantic suspense - both the story line and the characters. Kat and Dayne are strong individuals and I fell in love with both of their dogs. Kat is a mega rich socialite who seems totally out of reach when Dayne first meets her and, now that he’s taken up the job of protecting her from harm while trying to solve the murder of his former FBI teammate, he sees into her very private soul. Both Kat and Dayne find that they’ve made assumptions about the other and are able to look deeper and see what really matters to them. Tee O’Fallon has written a very exciting series in this K-9 Series and she finds topics that combine real life situations with interesting characters that make for great suspense.
I received a free ARC in exchange for my honest opinion of this book. I’m glad to read a story that has great characters and interesting twists and turns.

I've really enjoyed this tale. Action packed from the beginning. I've never read this author before, but was in the mood for romantic suspense. The author delivers a captivating tale that you won't want to put down.
I received a copy for review, but my opinions are my own.

Hot FBI Agent, socialite philanthropist, and cuteness personified doggies! This just hit all my buttons. This triggers all the feels and I defy you not to tear up in places.
Dayne & his K-9 partner are a dynamite team! Katrina could have been a 2D, wealthy socialite with no personality. But not in this series! Kat is strong, independent with a big dollop of naive. She is as shy as she is generous. I've always believed money brings its own problems and Kat? Well, she has more money than Midas.
These two leads worked fantastically together, the chemistry leaped off the page. Kat's little canine rescue pup is just adorable. I loved sorting through all the intricate threads of the story.

This is the 4th book in the Federal K-9 series and can absolutely be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the previous books first as they are interconnected and enjoyable reads as well. In this one we get Katrina and Dayne's story. Kat is a wealthy socialite who runs a rescue shelter. Dayne is tracking a killer and the trail leads straight to her rescue and her. They are the only thing in common with the murders, and he believes she will be the next target. Now it's a race to not only solve the crime but to keep her safe.
This book starts off with a bang and keeps that going throughout the whole book. These two are from completely different worlds but they compliment each other like you wouldn't believe possible. Dayne is what you would expect someone in his position to be-alpha, protective but with a sweet side. Kat may come from money but she isn't afraid to do the things that need to be done. She is smart, business savvy, but also completely lovable which really surprised me. I wasn't sure I would like her and I absolutely did. The story is definitely fast paced and keeps you reading from start to finish, or at least it did for me!

‘Trap ‘N’ Trace’ is the fourth title in the ‘Federal K-9‘ series, and although I haven’t read the previous titles (I have them, simply ran out of time before this review was due) I wasn’t the least bit lost as anything I’d need to know was in the dialogue or narrative.
While first impressions matter, they can also be very, very wrong. Such is the case for Dayne when he runs into Kat again under far different circumstances. This time around the very rich woman has discovered two dead bodies in one day and the only thing that seems to connect those two murders… is her. As Dayne and his K-9 partner, Remy, go into protection mode he will discover that Kat is very different from what he first assumed. No stuck-up socialite who looks down on the world from her ivory tower, Kat is devoted to the animals at her rescue shelter and completely at ease with all of her employees who also adore her. So, what is the connection? That’s what Dayne is determined to discover, along with keeping Kat safe… and maybe falling under her spell along the way.
It’s hard for me to say which I loved more – one rambunctious little puppy named Angus or one devoted working dog, Remy, who took a little one under their paw, so to speak, in watching over a little bundle of fur… or the humans who were trying so hard to solve a dangerous puzzle and definitely falling in love as they followed clues down twisting pathways. It’s probably a tie between them in reality. Dayne and Kat are such a good pairing, both have hidden qualities, both are a bit stubborn, and each completes the other in all the ways that matter without changing a thing about themselves. Of course, there are potholes along the way to a happy ending, but that just makes arriving at the destination all the sweeter.
‘Trap ‘N’ Trace‘ is full of twists, turns, and unexpected discoveries. And some painful realizations for Kat. Being wealthy and powerful isn’t always all it’s thought to be. Dayne has to not only protect Kat but change his thinking about a woman who is so devoted to the lost or forgotten animals she shelters. Each has layers, and it was fascinating to watch their true selves be revealed. A really good puzzle to solve, some sizzling moments, adorable pups, and heroic working dogs and a couple to make you believe in romance once again – all combined made this story one I was easily swept up in and will be re-reading again. If you love a really good Romantic Suspense with dogs tossed in for good measure, then you’ll want to pick up Dayne and Kat’s story real soon.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from Entangled Publishing via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
