This story was fun and I enjoyed the assassin's summer camp The writing is pretty graphic, so if you have a weak stomach, you may struggle with this one a bit. These teens are literally learning how to properly dispose of bodies, which can range from digging deep trenches to liquefying bones. The writing of this story is incredibly vivid and immersive, and I honestly think some teens will really appreciate the writing.
The characters from this story are incredible, and they are the epitome of a rag tag team. Considering there’s a sizeable cast, each of the characters are really well-developed and perfectly play out their respective roles. I never thought I’d come to love some of these teens, but I did.
The pacing of the book was good and held my attention. As you learn why each of the teenagers have been sent to this camp and the crimes that they committed. Furthermore, learning about the inner workings of the camp itself was both highly disturbing and fascinating. I was invested and look forward to the next book.

Signal has been accused and framed for her best friend's murder and is sent to a Class A (worst of the worst) prison. Instead of prison, she takes an offer to join a camp where they train teens to become killers/assassins. There she forms friendships and relationships and with the help of a budding love interest, she attempts to solve who really killed her best friend.

Yes! This was exactly what I needed after my last bad read and as soon as I read chapter 1, i knew i was going to enjoy it so much. From the synopsis and reading it, it have me One Of Us Is Lying and Two Can Keep A Secret kind of vibes, just a little more fictional and fantastical. The whole premise of the novel was super unique and interesting and the structure within the novel was thought out very well. It was super unpredictable and I genuinely did not know what would happen next as the characters were capable of anything.

I really enjoyed all the characters and immediately felt connected to them. Everyone was so unique and twisted, but endearing and the friendship evolution was really nice to see. Signal was really cool and I enjoyed her as a main character and felt bad for all she had suffered. I dont enjoy love triangles but this one was done really well because there was two bad boys and it was like whichever one was worse was ultimately going to win. And he did and I'm actually happy with how it ended, it was really nice and wholesome.  

The camper backstories and learning about them throughout the book was so interesting and the mystery surrounding the death was super engaging, which was seen through the author's writing style. The group dynamic was the best part of the book and what I enjoyed the most. They made the best out of a crap situations nd the friendship building was just really nice to see. Also I did not expect the twist at the end one bit, it was so crazy and surprised the hell out of me and that's what made this book so good. The book was incredibly dark and morbid (e.g. learning to dismember and hide bodies) but it wa shuts hilarious as well.

All in all, I would definitely recommend this to absolutely anyone and everyone and would tell everyone to keep an eye out for this next, new, big YA thriller/mystery that comes out on the 10th of November!

Teen Killers Club by Lily Sparks - 5/5 🌟

4.25// This story was a ton of fun and not what I expected going into it. Lily Sparks does a great job of creating an engaging story that is easy to follow and had a few twists that I did not see coming. I will definitely be reading the other books in the series.

I gave this a one out of five stars I had a hard time getting into this. It didn’t keep my attention and was hard to finish.

Very cool premise - a 'camp' for teenagers that have committed murder/killed somebody.....or have they?!
To be honest I didn't stick around to find out.
The novel started out pretty well, I was engaged with our main character and some of her interactions with her fellow campmates, but I just found myself losing interest very quickly and couldn't hang on to find out if she was innocent or not.
I don't think this is a bad book by any means, just not for me!

Figured this book would be right up my alley, but I couldn't stick with it. As an adult reading it, the MC's voice was a bit too immature, and I didn't feel connected to the characters.

I really did try to read this and like this book, but after 2 years I need to face it and sadly DNF this book. It just wasn't for me. Signal was bland, I didn't care for any if the characters or the plot.
The love triangle really wasn't for me either.

I might try to pick this up again in the future, but for now this is a DNF

Taking teenagers who have been convicted of murder from prison and training them to be assassins is a really fun idea and I also loved the fact that it was essentially reimagining the justice system. The fact that these teenagers are not solely defined by their crimes and each of the characters was truly complex was utterly masterful.

I think the concept of this story definitely had a lot of potential and I will almost definitely be picking up the sequel when it comes out later this year because I do want to know where it goes next.

What I didn't enjoy so much about this book was the fact that there was just so much going on. In this book we have the teenagers training as assassins, we have the mystery of who actually murdered Signal's friend, we have a strange guy stalking the kids in the woods, AND we have a love triangle. It's a lot. I felt as though a lot of the story was devoted to the romance and the love triangle and unfortunately I am really not a fan of love triangles.

As I said, I am almost definitely going to be picking up the sequel and will probably have a more enjoyable time with it because I will know going in that it is going to be romance heavy.

It's Suicide Squad for young adults (minus the superpowers) when a group of delinquents destined for prison are secretly whisked away to a summer camp to become trained assassins for the government. There, the campers killer instincts are tested and honed, all while fighting their hormones and each other, and trying not to set off the kill switches implanted in their bodies. You know, typical teen things.

One of the most entertaining books I've read in a while. The author somehow made me actually care about a group of teen psycho killers. The plot was fast-paced, the characters were fully developed, and the ending left me anxiously waiting for book 2!

I liked the premise of the book, and the characters were compelling. A fast, fun read that I will recommend to teens if I get it in my collection.

Who knew that murder could be so much fun?

Being Class A means being the worst. You murder someone in cold blood with a smile on your face. But what happens when a group of Class A teenagers are forced to live their day's training to take people out without being caught? Explosive drama is about to go down. Just remember to show dominance.

This was a fast-paced read. It was one where you didn't know where to look next and was shocked as the story progressed. When more and more clues make their way to the surface, prepared to lose your damn mind. And the characters. Wow! They were all special and quirky in their own little way. You instantly connect with all them and feel their stories. My absolute favorite is Nobody. What a badass!

Teen Killers Clubs was a fun mystery and I loved it. It was one of those reads that was sad and good at the same time. I mean, we all, go a little mad sometimes and this was fantastic insanity. I can not wait for book two! This was too damn good to forget

This book was phenomenal! I loved every moment of it. Was some of it predictable? Of course it was. the mystery itself was, confusing at times, but it was still a well written book. I loved the ride, the character development, and the plot.

Wow! What a ride. This is a fast paced suspenseful YA book. It blew my expectations away.

The characters, the world, the mystery and the unexpected crazy twists and turns it takes are all superb.I don't usually read this genre but this one was recommended. It really pulled me into its world. Can't wait to read more from Sparks.

This book was super interesting in the beginning! It starts off with Signal being blamed for a crime she didn't commit, and being shipped off to a camp for teen killers. There is definitely something fishy, as the teens are being taught how to get away with murder.

I loved all the characters in the book. Signal was well-written, and all of the other teens were also complex characters with engaging back stories. The best part for me was the friendship that is formed between all the teens- I do love the found family trope.

The love triangle was also enjoyable and well-written, and Signal's chemistry with both boys was very obvious.

The conclusion was very unsatisfying for me, as it wasn't very logical. Why were they training teen killers to murder previous teen killers?? They could just put them in prison to end the cycle? Why was the program started in the first place, since the first batch of teen killer wouldn't have a target.

Anyhow, the book was a fun read, and I really liked the twist of who killed Rose.

This book was a blast. I have never read anything quite like it before, the closest I could think of what an episode of Buffy where a student gets enlisted into a CIA programme. Anyway I read it in a oner. It’s pitched perfectly for a teenage audience, it’s dark and the loose ends are tied up. I’m hoping there is a sequel because I want to find who these characters grow to be. Thanks to the publisher and netgalley for and egalley.
