Each of these stories is a feel good Christmas story of second chances and finding family. They are all different variations of country as well - two westerns, and two coastal southern small towns. Overall each story was lovely - all of them building off of the author's larger series.

I was especially excited to read Carolyn Brown's entry into the anthology - her story centers on Landon and Dixie - two characters who have appeared in her other books that totally deserved a special happy ending. I also loved everything about about Rochelle Alers story too.

I think the thing I liked the best about this anthology was the diversity and differences between all of the characters - from age to race - it was refreshing to read so many perspectives on what makes a country Christmas.

Overall - this is a great holiday read!

I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley, but these opinions are all my own.

This book has four well written novellas by four different authors. Each novella is the perfect length to relax with after a long day. They are all heartwarming stories to put you in the Christmas spirit. Thank you Forever (Grand Central Publishing) via NetGalley for the ARC copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

Four author's give readers a delightful blend of cowboys and their ladies at the merriest time of the year. Each cowboy is appealing and the women the best choices to rope them in. An anthology like this is four stories for the price of one. The cover is so inviting you could just step into the scene, headed for the barn, after playing the dog, of course. I hate to see Brown end the Longcanyon series but hopefully there will be more stories of new communities. A great way to anticipate the holiday season.

A Little Country Christmas is a collection of novellas by some excellent authors guaranteed to fill readers with Christmas spirit.
The Perfect Christmas, the concluding book in Carolyn Brown’s Longhorn Ranch series is about a jaded single mom whose pre-Christmas dealings with a sexy cowboy renews her faith in men as the pair set out to make Christmas memories. The adventures Landon, Dixie, and precious baby Sally have as they fall in love are sure to delight Ms. Brown’s legend of fans.

A Cowboy Christmas At Heart by A. J. Pine pits cost cutting Mayor “Grinch” against Deputy Police Chief, Dani when Peyton Cooper refuses to put Christmas lights up on city hall. The banter between these two is delightful as they finally acknowledge mutual high school crushes and reveal personal secrets, but will Cooper want to stay in town or be lured back to Chicago where he used to work?

In Home For The Holidays author Rochelle Akers tells the story of a career military man home for the holidays and a former military brat who is besties with his sister. This is a more serious relationship story than the previous two. Collier is suffering from nightmares since his last deployment. Iris is a survivor of an abusive relationship. It’s crucial that these two learn to trust in the power of new relationships...plus there are some great recipes included.

Joy to the World is Hope Ramsay’s contribution. Magnolia Harbor needs a director for the Christmas chorale that funds the free medical clinic. Brenda is highly qualified but she hates Christmas. Jim, who gave up a promising musical career to become a doctor, convinces her to take the job. Ms. Ramsay has written an engaging silver fox story as these two lonely characters come to find they are very compatible musically and otherwise.

I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley. Most highly recommend.
