“Blacklisted” by Jay Crownover was a quick, easy read. I wanted to read about Presley and Shot since reading the previous book in the series, “Unforgiven.” We get a little background from events that happened in the previous books, and you can read this as a standalone, but I definitely recommend reading the first two books.

I wasn’t a big fan of the POV style in this book; it made it really hard for me to connect with the characters. There was too much internal dialogue and recapping of events instead of showing what’s happening in the story. I’ve loved Jay Crownover’s books for years so I’m not sure why I had such a tough time with this one. Overall, I enjoyed the story but I found myself skimming more than anything.

Ohhhhhh my!!! Jay Crownover’s Loveless, Texas series is an automatic 1-click for me and the third installment Blacklisted could quite possibly be my favorite one yet! This fast paced novel centers around Presley and Shot who we know from previous installments so I was excited to get my hands on their story and it absolutely did not disappoint! I adore romance novels that involve Motorcycles Clubs so being that Shot is the president I was in for a treat! I love when romance books have bada$$, smart, determined, and capable leading ladies and Dr. Presley 100% fits that bill! Fantastic main characters plus action packed, sassy, and steamy storyline equals a solid 5 star MUST READ! I highly recommend Blacklisted and if you haven’t started the Loveless, Texas series yet start at the beginning (you will thank me later lol)!

I always know I'll enjoy Jay Crownovers work and Blacklisted was no exception. I eagerly awaited Presley and Shots story after the conclusion of Unforgiven. While the story started a bit slow for me, I really enjoyed Shot and Presleys relationship and watching them each open up to each other. Both are a bit relationship shy for their own reason, but watching them grow and realize they were totally in love was fun. Jay always throws in some crazy thriller aspect and this was no exception. I enjoyed the suspense but wish there had been more of a confrontation between Ashby and Presley rather than what actually happened. I enjoyed this read and look forward to more from Jay!

This was such a great story, but I shouldn’t be surprised because it was written by one of my favorite authors, Jay Crownover, she never disappoints. This is the third book in the Lovless series. I loved all the characters and how they interacted with each other and how they came together as a family. This book had plenty of suspense, drama, and romance. Thank you Netgalley and Forever(Grand Central Publishing) for this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

I have been waiting for this book! I am a huge fan of this series and have been fascinated with Shot Caldwell since the start. Shot is the president of a motorcycle club and is not what you would describe as a good guy. He makes no apologies for that or for living his life outside the lines. His club doesn't operate on the proceeds of drugs or prostitution, but more on going into difficult areas for search and rescue operations and gambling. He definitely operates on a different code and definitively outside the law. He hasn't had any real relationships beyond "spending time" with a few different women. Including Presley Baskin's sister Kody Lawton.

Presley has been through some sh*t. Her former best friend Ashby is a psychopath and literally made it her mission to take anything and everything away from Preseley. Ashby murdered both of Presley's parents, tried to ruin her career, and slept with every man Presley was ever interested in. Presley has been trying to lure her out into the open so that she can stop living her life in fear. While she is doing that she crosses path's with Shot when she saves his life after he is shot.

Presley and Shot are complete opposites - on every level. She is calm and his is a hurricane. He is a fierce protector for her and someone to lean on, something she has never had before. She is a soft place for him to land and break away from his crazy life. I would have loved to see an epilogue several years down the road to see how things are going for them.

Overall, this book didn't disappoint as a third part of the series. I loved seeing the other characters again and especially learning more about shot. I am hopeful that Jay Crownover might write more about the motorcycle club - that can be hit or miss for me, but I have a feeling in Crownover's hands it would be a serious win.

I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley, but these opinions are all my own.

I tried several time times to read this and I had issues each time I started it. Presley seemed all over the map emotionally. She fearful one moment then she's using her training to go after a bad as s biker. She's terrified but she removes herself from protective custody. I'm not sure how she made it through medical school.
I also had a hard time with Shot. He was with her half sister prior to falling for Presley.

The other part I thought was too much was the names. Kody, Presley, Crew, Ashby etc.
It seemed like the author went out of her way to give everyone a unique name

Can the compassionate doctor fall in love with the biker gang leader?
I've been eagerly awaiting Shot's story since he was introduced in Kody's book. I devoured this story in one sitting. It was amazing. I loved how the author weaved the family into the story. The reader can see how the lives of past characters have changed since their stories ended. I really enjoyed Presley and Shot's story.

So excited to get this book- thank you NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing).

This book will leave you mad, upset and heartbroken............that it's over. I so did not want to finish this book because I was so in love with these characters. Nothing sexier than the way Shot was written as the bad ass biker knocked to his knees over Presley.

Blacklisted picks up with the amazing Lawton family and Presley's new discovery that she is a member of the gang. She is being terrorized by a former friend/co-worker and this suspense and drama was greatly written and made for an amazing way to see Presley grow into a strong and fierce woman. She is vulnerable enough at times to allow Shot in but strong enough to tell him she doesn't need him. This is impressive to Shot and he finds Presley irresistible. These two are definitely one of my favorite book couples.

Jay Crownover done an amazing job keeping he secondary characters woven in the story and this family finally getting it together after a rocky start. I highly recommend this book- and definitely the entire series!

But I read in the back of the book that she's not! 😢 I could have sworn at one of the signings I met her at that she talked about doing an mc series?! maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part lol I think she would write an awesome Mc romance without a doubt! Definitely don't miss out on this book and series!! They can be read separate also ! Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me! Thank you to Jay for your wonderful words and another amazing read!
