This was an alright book. The steamy scenes were not written well and I got tired of reading the word "manhood" over and over again. However, I cared about the characters and I wanted to see how long it took them to figure things out.

Nice cover and I love the enemies-to-lovers trope. Overall it was just OK for me.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the chance to read this book!

Obvious plot. Love scenes weren't written very well, and the wording felt awkward. Didn't like how the ex's character ends up being portrayed.

1.5 stars, rounded up to 2 as I waffled between not liking it and thinking it was okay.

Kindly received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely loved this novel. It was very intense and had such steamy chemistry between our hero and heroine. It had the concept of the girl next door and the bad boy that had been them years ago. The romance in this novel was so interesting to read throughout the entire book, and there were so many sweet scenes.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves enemies to lovers romance.
