You know what? This was classic Brayden and there is nothing wrong with that. I was invested in Joey and Becca's relationship, not surprised by the book's climax, but very happy with the resolution. I cannot wait to read the other books in the series!

Another great book by Meliss Brayden! From the scenery and environment to the rich characters and personalities, this book delivers. I really enjoy the enemies to lovers trope and it is well done here. The secondary characters were great and I'm hoping we can expect to see them more in the other books in this trilogy. I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Loved this book, Great drama and a wonderful rollacoaster of emotion, The main characters are well developed and i found it difficult to not be invested in the outcome. Melissa Brayden never disappoints.

Another great book from Melissa Brayden. Likeable characters, a strong supporting cast, believable conflict and a sweet romance. A tad formulaic, but overall an enjoyable read.

Actually one of the best Brayden novels I've read in a while.

The main characters, Joey (mostly) and Becca, have plenty of sass, spunk and humour. Brayden blends the laughs in a delightful way and makes the enemies to lovers formula great fun to read. Becca seems like she's perfect in every way, which can annoy me but in this case had me wrapped around her finger.

The story opens up all sorts of options for the series which I think will be great as well.

A phenomenal enemies to lovers small town romance set in the heart of Oregon Wine country.
Joey and Becca hit it off immediately and have a great connection, but that is quickly squashed by Joey once she realizes Becca is the GM of the new resort being built. Becca has always dreamed of moving to a small town just like this one and can’t wait to make friends, her hopes of a smooth integration are dashed when she finds the town residents don’t want the luxury resort to move in and the most adamant voice against just happens to be her new crush Joey.
I love the characters so much. Becca is earnest and kind. Joey is passionate and so strong. I love how tight-knit Joey, Maddison, and Gabriella become and am so excited to see both Gabriella's and Madison's future love stories unfold. Even Kevin now has a place in my heart. I love the depth and likeability of all of the characters in this story. I left book with these characters feeling like new friends and that is a truly special thing.
This story is so fun and hopeful despite several dark clouds that try to mire this romance. I love the Tangle Valley Vineyard and how Brayden made it feel like home.
The romance is outstanding. Joey and Becca clearly have a spark right from the start, but Joey's guard goes up and it is up to Becca to break down those walls. They have great chemistry and I love their banter. They have a splendid push pull tension between them and the opposition added to their dynamic. Their love story is dreamy and steamy and I loved every second of it.
Brayden has once again delivered a remarkable romance that is only the first in the Tangle Valley trilogy. An absolute must read.

Melissa Brayden did it again! Entangled is a great sapphic romance and the first book in Brayden’s new Tangle Valley series! I have always loved Brayden’s books. They’re sweet, cozy and her characters are always loveable.

When Joey and Becca meet, it’s pretty much love at first sight… But Joey hates the new elite resort they’re building in town and Becca just happens to be the head of said new resort. Afraid, the new hotel will take away the rustic charm of Tangle Valley, Joey refuses to see how beneficial the tourists could be to her vineyard. Good thing Becca (and her newly adopted pup, Skywalker) doesn’t give up easily on what she wants.

If you’re looking for a heartwarming, small-town romance between two ladies with chemistry and a wonderful cast of side characters Entangled is for you. 😊

Melissa Brayden back with another great title and I really hope she writes more in the same place as this one because I can't wait to come back to it.

I had a hard time with this one although I already loved so many books of this author. And it's not that it's bad in any way. I just couldn't get into the story or connect with the MCs. It was all just kind of... plain. And especially if you have read books like 'Strawberry Summer'. But again it was not bad, just not that much for me. Still looking forward to the next one!

This is the 1st book in a 3 part series and it was fabulous. The story takes place in Oregon wine country Tangle Valley Winery. Joey Wilder loses her father to a sudden heart attack and now the vineyard is hers.. This broke my heart. She enlists the help of her best friend Madison who is a winemaker out of New York..Joey tells her of her vision for the winery. Having a restaurant and another tasting room. Madison’s EX is a chef and she and Gabriella set out for Oregon. They are all very likeable Characters. But there is a heavy cloud over their head when a new BIG RESORT comes to town and all the townspeople hate it.
Becca Crawford is beautiful, likeable and looking for a home in town. She is also the manager of the Jade Resort. Becca meets Joey when she goes wine tasting and they flirt a bit until Joey finds out she manages the demon hotel.
The book is full of great conversation, which I think is Melissa Brayden best quality in her work. I read the book and listened to audio and both just knocked my socks off fabulous. I also know that Melissa hides Easter eggs in her books. I found 4 in this book. For those who don’t know what Easter eggs are, they are a reference to another of her books. Fun fact!! I eagerly look forward to the next 2 books.

Entangled turned out to be exactly what I expected. A wonderful love story between two strong women cast in a gorgeous vineyard bolstered by a crew of equally interesting friends that we hope will find true romance in upcoming novels. I truly enjoy that this author loves her characters so much that she can’t help but create stories for all of them, and unique to each and every one. With exceptional care and creativity, Joey and Becca’s enemies to lovers affair draws you in with the lure of the 3rd main character, the lush country of Joey’s vineyard. Even though this author has done the same formula with Soho Loft and Seven Shores, the uniqueness shines through and you can’t help getting pulled into their world and being thoroughly entertained. I received a copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Who doesn’t jump for joy at the prospect of a new Melissa Brayden series? I was delighted to find out I could wallow in some new stories and new characters from one of my favourite romance writers. ‘Entangled’ is the first in the Tangle Valley Romance Series and is set amongst the vineyards run and owned by Joey Wilder. She knows where she wants to go with her business and it doesn’t involve intrusion by corporate America, in the form of the new Jade hotel. She likes the local town, Whisper Wall, just the way it is. And she’s determined not to cave to the charms of the gorgeous hotel manager, Becca Crawford. But the best laid plans……

This novel has a group of friends, women and men, who are going to become part of my reading life for the next few years. I can see wonderful things coming. The setting is cosy and friendly and makes me wish I could visit. In this story we meet Joey, who has had a difficult time and is not open to relationships. But when you meet someone who takes your breath away, it’s not easy to resist. Becca was ambitious and smart, but it was her kindness and caring nature that appealed to me most about her. They were meant to be together. I loved seeing their feelings for each other grow. The people around them were instrumental in helping it happen. It was a feel-good story, with the perfect setting, adorable characters and Ms Brayden’s beautiful writing. I can’t wait for the next in the series.

I was given this ARC for review.

I guess that I wish that I had read this the same way that it seems so many others had. It's the story of Joey and Becca. Joey takes over running her family's Vineyard, Tangle Valley, near around the same time that there is a big honkin' hotel (very commercial) going in nearly next door. She does not like that, and feels that it's going to take away the rustic feel that her vineyard needs to bring in their customers.

Becca, not surprisingly, is the one who is set to run that hotel. They meet a couple of times, and then they find out who the other one is. I will say that I mostly liked how that was done. How Brayden sort of had the characters agree to disagree on the tense part of the whole situation and learn about one another.

I did think that most of the book was like that, done well. For, 80% of a book there was a good balance between the two main characters and the story drew me in. Then came the 'problem' in the novel. The 'problem' part seemed very realistic too. But, the last 20% of the book. The resolution. I just couldn't get into it, and nearly didn't make my way through it. Again... the balance between the two characters was thrown off (did Becca actually ever apologize? Never in those words, I know that Joey seemed to quite a lot... *sigh*).

Anyway, if people actually read more than one of my reviews, they know this is a big pet peeve of mine. I wish that that last 20% had been different, or not there, or something. Because, I really really loved all the characters (even Becca). And, it was fun to read the beginning of the book and in my head guess what the next book in the series will concern (relationship wise).

Will I try and read the next book in this Tangle Valley series? Probably. I just hope that there's less unbalanced HEA, and more balance between the characters at the end.

This is pretty much vintage Brayden. There’s a super cute couple, Joey, who runs a vineyard, and Becca, who is managing the new hotel that’s about to open in town. Joey does not want said hotel in her town, so is disappointed to discover that her new crush is also the woman in charge of the hotel she doesn’t like. Becca and Joey have instant chemistry, and Becca manages to win Joey over in short order. There’s lots of meet cutes and banter, as you’d expect. This also features Madison, Joey’s long time BFF and Gabrielle, Madison’s ex and good friend. These two come to work at the vineyard with Koey, and will also feature in the other books in the series.

When reading this I kept thinking how much it was like Kiss the Girl and it gets more so as you go along. The requisite drama at the 70% mark was almost an exact replay. This also features the issue I’ve had with Brayden’s books before, the banter wears after awhile and most of the characters talk in the same voice, which is annoying. Brayden also manages some tie ins with other books, and I did like her tongue in cheek reference to the mixed reviews for Back to September.

Joey and Becca as very sweet together and I enjoyed watching them flirt and move through their relationship, even though the last 30% or so kind of dragged. Fans of Brayden will enjoy this, for the most part it’s a nice sweet romance. It’s probably 3.5 stars, but I’m rounding up.

I'm a fan off Melissa Brayden and have found you can never go wrong with her novels. She is great with developing characters and making you want to care about them. She continues her good work with Entangled. I could actually picture the author as the character Becca in the story, the blonde beauty who is so nice and grounded, who doesn't take the town's criticism of where she works as a knock against her personally.

I had a hard time liking Joey at all. Through the story you learn of all of the hardships she has gone through, but when she doesn't get the contract with the Jace, she pushes Becca away, the one good thing she had in her life. I didn't feel like she ever apologized fully for this or explained why she did it. Becca was a real saint in forgiving her so easily.

The story was so enjoyable and I hope this setting will include more stories with other characters. I highly recommend this one.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for a fair and unbiased review.

Adorable feel-good romance.
I have read my share of Melissa Brayden before, so I was quite looking forwards to this book. While Entangled didn't blow my expectations out of the water, it certainly didn't disappoint.
The beginning of the story was nicely done. We see a hint of Joey's dad before he gets ripped out of her life. A sprinkling of backstory here and there, a call to an old bestie to recruit her as supportive side character, it has an adventurous, heroic feel about it. Joey's starting a fresh life and we're all invited to watch.
The characters have good chemistry. I liked the initial tension about the ritzy new hotel, although it didn't end up amounting to the animosity that I expected. Which was fine, because I'm not the biggest fan of enemies to lovers. Becca seems too charismatic to be the subject of anyone's hatred.
When it came to the scary, relationship-breaking obstacle, I was a tad bored. Maybe it's because I've been reading a lot more lesfic this year, and I'm getting comfortable with the usual formula. I've feel like I've seen Brayden do "one character gets cold feet" a lot better than this, even though there wasn't anything particularly wrong here. I can't really explain why I didn't get into it.
Joey's attempts to re-start the relationship were fine if a little dull, with her "take it slow" reasoning. Later she discards that strategy, and I did enjoy the ice wine scene. I had forgotten about the box of wise one-liners, and it was nice to have Joey turn to it in her time of need.
In spite of the criticism, it was a thoroughly enjoyable story. It seems that our chef might be next in line for her crack at love... looking forwards to the next instalment in Tangle Valley. Four and a half stars.

Melissa Brayden can write a good book! And this is no exception.

I loved the setting. I loved the characters, all of them, and I can't wait to read more about the secondary characters in their own stories.

I liked Joey's joy in life. I thought the conflict that occurred was believable (if also predictable) and I thought it resolved in a believable way.

My biggest beef with the book, and it actually pulled me out of the story a few times, was the unbelievable timeline of renovations that happened. They renovated a cabin for a new employee in less than a month!! Including new appliances and floors. They bought a used food truck and were selling food out of it within a week?

I’m typically a big fan of Melissa Brayden and tend to revisit her books over and over again.

I’d probably drop this to the bottom of my list of Melissa Brayden books but in all fairness, that’s still a solid field to be in.

I truly enjoyed the story but while I devoured her other books, I had to take this one in pieces.

The first reason is the opening scene that sets you up with this very endearing father daughter dynamic,, turns around and breaks your heart before you can blink. The loss resonated close to home for me personally.

The other reason it was tough was primarily the overuse of the zippy banter between all the characters. While I normally love the banter in her other books; it was a little thick in this one.

I think what this writer does really well consistently is tell a story with color and dimension. She creates warm flawed characters that are relatable. Entangled was a good intro into the Tangle Valley series.
