I'm puzzled why this book doesn't have more requests/reviews at this time. I really loved everything about this book including the storyline which flowed easily, the two leading characters, Daphne and Nina, and their friendship turned romance.

The story kicks off with Daphne, a weekend antiques collector, taking a lamp which was left with a household moving delivery out on the curb of Nina's new home. Daphne thinks the lamp is being disposed of since the curb is where the residents place their trash. However, the lamp has family sentimental value for Nina and she reports it missing. Later Daphne is watching a local newscast about the missing lamp and sees a still photo of her vehicle and her license plate number. She knows that she needs to return the lamp. That is how she meets Nina. Daphne and Nina actually become fast friends who have a good dynamic and great conversation.

But Nina's ex-girlfriend, Lacey, returns to the scene and Lacey wants Nina back. Lacey left Nina when Nina was divorcing her husband to "give her space". Now Nina is officially divorced. Lacey is a flirty, type A personality who always seems to get her way.

Around that time Daphne begins to date a woman that she has meet. However, Nina and Daphne grow closer over time. I won't spoil the story by sharing anything further, but the chemistry between Nina and Daphne is sparkling and they have the solid friendship foundation.

I would recommend that other readers give this book a try. I would rate it as a solid 4 stars.

I received an ARC from Bold Strokes Books and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Daphne, cute and quirky, lacks in self confidence, works in a call centre, gets abused daily and hates her job. She has a chance encounter with the gorgeous Nina who has the nice house and executive job and has given Daphne the confidence to follow her dreams. They instantly become best friends. Nina has all the attributes of the perfect girlfriend but for Daphne, Nina seems way out of her league. Both start to develop feelings towards each other but despite their growing attraction they both have girlfriends and anyway they're 'best friends'.
I really enjoyed this book. It was such a nice slow burn with great chemistry between Dapne and Nina. I loved the quirkiness of Daphne and enjoyed the witty narrative between the two.  Also the character of Sophie was a delight as well. Overall a great read.

Entertaining read with two likeable characters. Daphne Carson, does not feel good about herself after her divorce, has low self-esteem, and a job she doe not enjoy. Nina Colombo, newly out, recent divorcee, with a 10-year old son, Noah. This is one of the more interesting and fun meet cutes I have read. Nina and Daphne are so good for each other and Noah is adorable while providing feedback in such a matter of fact way. There is also Lacy, Nina's ex, who wants and gets her back.

While reading, I continued to think about Nina and Daphne's self-talk as related to their ages (late 30s-early 40s). What kept coming to mind was that relationships can cause a person to pause and process what is going on and where to go from here. I smile when of think of Daphne's social awkwardness and how Nina played off that...so well done.

I enjoyed this read. Both main characters, Daphne and Nina, were very likable, real, and even easy to relate to. I connected with Daphne more and thought her quirks and personality were great. Nina and her fit well together and the fact that the obstacles were more than just "she is in a relationship" made it fun to read. I would have liked the ex-husband to maybe have played a bigger role or even Noah but that would habe only added to an already good story. While there is a little drama, I felt both characters acted their age in dealing with it. I enjoyed this book and I am sure many will too.

Daphne Carsen was not fully over her ex-wife when she tried to crash her wedding. Then she accidentally stole an antique lamp from Nina Colombo's driveway. Nina, single, divorced, and newly out after her sexual epiphany with Lacey, was just settling down with her son when she found her lamp missing. Luckily, Daphne quickly returned it to Nina, and the pair bonded over their love of antiques and need of new friends. Soon, their friendship shifted into something more. But Nina got back with Lacey, and neither Nina nor Daphne wanted to risk their friendship for romance. Or should they?

"One Woman's Treasure" is not a fluffy romance. Tension rumbles throughout the story but it ends with a sappy note that was almost perfect. Though a first-time reader of Copeland's works, I am sure I would enjoy her other books as well.

While there were minor hiccups such as random facts showing up, I liked how nothing big was too contrived. Even though the characters were not perfectly mature women around forty years old, their occasional capriciousness actually made them more relatable and real. Sure, they said spiteful things every now and then that were irking but directly reflected their understandable jealousy and anger. As we embark on Daphne’s and Nina’s journeys of finding themselves and one another, we soon see that they truly lifted each other up and became better people as the story progressed. Though uncomfortable to watch them struggle to get together, they were honestly a good fit with shared values and mutual respect. Although there were infidelities involved, I do not think they were inappropriate plot devices but rather unavoidable unfortunates due to circumstances.

Another thing I liked about the story was that every scene was kind of awkward but never overly so. The angst was a low hum throughout the book and never one that built up to a heart attack. I guess that was one of the reasons I enjoyed it because I did not experience any panic throughout the read. This is highly unusual for a not-so-sweet yet intriguing romance.

There were also wonderful secondary characters of wide age range. Sophie, Daphne's eighty-two-year-old neighbor, was Daphne's support system and a fun, naughty old lady. And Nina's son Noah, whom I find more grownup than his ten years of age, was lovely and very understanding. I also appreciated that though the two main characters were around their forties, they each had only one prior relationship with women. Because they were not very experienced, I bet many readers would rejoice at finally seeing themselves reflected.

"One Woman’s Treasure" is a very aptly named book and not a light reading. It is about pursuing what you love in life, and I highly recommend this romance.

Daphne meets Nina by mistake. She is looking for curbside treasure that people have tossed out because they have no use for them. She comes across a lamp outside of Nina's house and thinking it's trash, she scoops it up. Turns out it's not trash and after seeing her car on the news for being a suspect in the heist she willingly turns it back over to Nina. Their friendship comes with ease over antiquing.

I actually enjoyed One Woman's Treasure. I liked the slow burn of this one. Besides the slow burn there is dating of others and not just a dance that the mains do in a typical slow burn. These two mains have divorce in common along with antiques, but I would say that is were the common things stop. From each point of view, you see the attraction, but they have decided they need a friendship right now. In all honestly, Daphne really isn't ready for a relationship. Her character often bugged me with her self-deprecating attitude. BUT, in the grand scheme of things I can understand why she would be so down on herself. Her ex-wife did a number on her. I liked that Nina was so positive and helpful building Daphne up. I also enjoyed the supporting characters Sophie and Nina's son.

Over I just liked the overall lightness of this. I like the growth of both characters. 4 stars

Daphne feeling down on herself after watching her ex Ann Marie as she likes to be called Savannah get married to cheer herself up she decides to troll on roadsides to see if she find any treasure.

Nina just gotten divorce after she realize she a lesbian her and ten year old son Noah moves to a new house. When someone steals a family heirloom she offers award. Daphne realize she accidentally took the heirloom thinking someone put in the trash.

Although their meeting was a misunderstanding Daphne and Nina starts a friendship and bond over their love of antiques. While their friendship is growing they starts have feelings for each other but things become more complicated when the woman who help Nina realize who she is want a second chance Nina feels she should give Lacey a chance and Daphne have someone interests in her. As they start relationships with other people Nina helps build Daphne confidence when she starts to want to open a antiques shop called Trash to Treasure Antiques and Collectibles. Daphne and Nina must decide wether to admit their feelings at act on in or deny having them at all.

This was a good read. I love the friendship Daphne had with her neighbor Sophie and how she didn’t sugarcoat anything when Daphne talk to her.
