Dr. Rellick is a local dental surgeon who is sued. When a bad outcome happens to a patient, he is targeted by the family and suddenly his life is plunged into a nightmare. This is an intriguing psychological thriller that keeps you turning the pages. At first, my impression was more horror than thriller, based on the cover and title. I was pleasantly surprised by the thriller instead.
Definitely worth the read.

Ron is a dental surgeon who years after treating a young man is sued by the widow for everything that happened to the young man after seeing Ron. The widow's lawyer sets up the jury and the witness to get a large settlement. Ron becomes so mad at all he loses from this misuse of justice that he kills the lawyer. Then he goes on to kill others for the same type of approach to law. He leaves his wife and goes out to be another person. This is a thriller in the true sense of the word.

This book was an #ARC from #NetGalley provided to me by the author and publisher - free of charge for an honest review.

Dr. Rellick is a predominate oral surgeon. He is living THE life. That is until a malpractice suit wrongfully derails his career and life. Dr. Rellick decides the best form of revenge is targeting those that he feels are the problem of the American justice system - lawyers (and greedy, slimy ones at that). This dark thriller shows just how far one man is willing to go when backed into a corner with no way out.

This book is dark and kept me on the edge of my seat. The idea of a good guy gone bad is one that always grabs your attention and forces you to think - who is actually the bad guy here? Who do we root for? The author did a great job depicting a man who had it all, lost it all and took extreme steps to right wrongs. But, is he righting them or creating an never-ending cycle of revenge?

Surpringly good. Reading for me is emotional and I really enjoyed this story about a doctor who loses everything including his mind. It was really easy to see what would send someone to the dark side when justice let's you down. A definite must read. Happy reading!

Thank you to NetGalley and Black Rose Writing for the arc of The American Strangler by Robert M. Fleisher.

Thanks Robert M. Fleisher for writing this very interesting psychological thriller.

We've all heard lawyer jokes. Whether we be sued or not... most of us have an opinion about certain lawsuits and cases as well as the lack of justice in some parts that are within the legal system, and many who in which would abuse the system. The author takes goes beyond this and really gives us a serial killer.... Ron Rellick isn't just any serial killer i want to add He is a guy in which who definitely gets a deal, but he doesn't react the way in which the society would expect him to. Ron ends up becoming the hunter, and his prey/victims is far from ordinary in any way shape or form. It is disturbing, shocking, captivating, gripping, gritty.

What a great read, i thoroughly enjoyed it and it was a quick read for me I read it pretty quickly.
