I requested and received an electronic copy of this book from Rory Feek and Thomas Nelson: CHILDREN’S through NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

The Day God Made You by Rory Feek helps kids be in awe of God's omniscience (He knows everything) and God's Sovereignty (He controls everything) in a heart-fell, poetic and loving manner.

This book, read by parents to their kids, will warm hearts and put both parties closer to each other, both marveling at God's character and work while also admiring the beautiful illustrations.

I would gladly sell this book and read it with my sons.

This is one of the sweetest kid books I've come across in a long time! It's utterly beautiful - from the pictures to the message! It's truly a wonderful way to love on your children and make them feel loved by you as their parent and God.
The illustrations are colorful and meaningful throughout the story and I love that so many cultures and children are included in each picture. In a time when all should feel included and loved, this book and its message are so meaningful and loving.
Thank you to NetGalley and Thomas Nelson Publishing for offering me an e-copy of this book for review.

This is a beautiful story book with the illustrations to match. A sweet story to share with your child. It lets them know they are special and loved. The illustrations include everyone with colorful and attractive work children will enjoy. The encouraging book shows us that God had a hand in creating us. Everything about us is special and has a purpose through God’s love. Differences, including different cultures and abilities, are celebrated in this book. It shows being our own unique self is important and we are loved.

Little ones will enjoy the colorful and well done illustrations as well as the rhyme of the story. Parents, teachers and other caregivers will enjoy the confidence children will learn about being themselves and welcoming the differences in others. This is a book great for home, as well as churches, libraries and classrooms. It is a good gift idea to give to new parents too perhaps.

My little guy and I both loved this story about what makes us who we are and how much that God really knows and loves us. This would be one of those special books that could be a keepsake that could be read generation after generation. What a beautiful reminder of God's love.

I received an early electronic copy and this is my review.

This is one of the sweetest children’s books I have read to date. It is such an uplifting story. It affirms that God knows everything about us before we are even created. It also tells children thar even when they are experiencing tough times that God knew about these moments the day they were created. It helps to affirm that God is always with us and will never leave us. We must put our faith and trust in Him. This will definitely be a staple baby shower and children’s birthday gift from our family!

I read this book with my 4 and 8 year old daughters and both loved the story and illustrations. It's a great reminder in these times that God did know what we would face when He made us and He created us the way He did for a purpose. The illustrations are perfect for all ages. The pace of the story is great to keep younger kids engaged and teaches important truths.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book for my honest opinion.

I read this right after reading another children's book that touches on the same subject so to me they felt really similar with slight differences. This is a really short and sweet children's book.

This was a cute book that has Indiana’s dad explaining all the things God did to create Indiana. I loved the beautiful illustrations; the colours are so vibrant and the illustrator included all races, sexes, and abilities.
This book would be great for gifting as it also includes a beautiful inscription space on the inside page.

The Day God Made You authored by Rory Feek and illustrated by Malgosia Piatkowska has a beautiful cover with children holding pets, stuffed animals and three children reading books. The illustrations are colourful and show a diverse group of children with different ethnic backgrounds and hair colours.
Delightful rhymes and a powerful message of love make this the perfect bedtime storybook, or anytime-book and may easily become a favourite book. Children and their parents will enjoy cuddling up together to discover how God delighted over each and every detail of their lives and personalities as He created them --from the shape of their eyes to the sound of their laughter. I highly recommend this book and plan to buy it for my young niece and nephew.

Well, I wanted to like this one. I like the title and the art is fine. It's just that the message is sort of generic and not different than other books like this. Sort of....vanilla in the rhymes used. God knew this. He knows that. Well, yes, but I wanted something more personal and connecting with the reader. Just didn't work for me.

Such an encouraging book! THE DAY GOD MADE YOU comforts young readers and adults too, with the message that God created every detail about them for a purpose and with love. Diversity and differing abilities are celebrated! Beautiful illustrations and tender text assure that we are all in God’s caring hands. Author and country singer Rory Feek dedicates this newest book to daughter Indiana, born with Down syndrome, whose mother died of cancer when Indiana was just two. 5 of 5 Stars
