Barbour Publishing put together six lovely stories about love coming at Christmas time. These are historical fictional stories with a bit of humor thrown in for good measure. All of these authors are great writers and the challenge to put a whole story in a novella is a hard one to do when you are used to writing full length novels, but these authors are up to the task.

Each of these tales have flawed but likable people populating the narratives, and they all find what they are looking for, eventually. Some of the yarns had me in tears because of the unfairness of the situations, some had me laughing out loud, some had me so frustrated I wanted to grab the characters and give them a good shake.

This is a five star collection, with two thumbs up, and a Christmas miracle of love.

This collection of historical short stories was so wonderful. It was heartwarming and cozy and I enjoyed every story. This was definitely a feel-good Christmas book!

This book was super cute and lifted my spirits. I loved these short stories and found myself at the end wanting more from some of them. I found some new authors to enjoy thanks to this book. This is a title you will want to add for your Holiday reading list. Enjoy with a plate of cookies and hot cider.

A collection of short romantic stories which are also historical. I had never read any of these authors so this is a great manner in which to sample their writings. I enjoyed each of the stories as I love reading about different periods in history and also about how Christmas was celebrated in these historical times. I particularly enjoyed the story which was set in Missouri since that is my home state. I would recommend this book as a cozy enjoyable and informative read.
