I really liked this devotional that I bought an actual copy for my son. If is definitely geared for things young bits deal with. I was a bit surprised at the size however it is a nice hand held size.

This is a great book for instructing and encouraging young boys. I like that it gives a good devotion to read and discuss with them as well as a verse and then prayer. It is a good way for them to start or end their day and grow in their faith. It hits on important topics that help them in their walk with God. I highly recommend it.

An excellent resource for helping boys feel uplifted and build strong moral characteristics! Each day has a theme, a Bible verse that pertains to the theme, a Bible story or example from a young person's life, and a question to ponder for the day. At the back of the book, there is a list of more resources to read and a scripture index for easy reference. This would make a great Christmas gift for the boys in your life!

Daily Devotions for Brave Boys by the Barbour Staff is a wonderful book for young boys. I was looking for a resource to help my son deal with fear. I turned to this book and it was a perfect fit. With a Scripture, a short encouraging read, and a prayer, this is the perfect devotional for young boys with a short attention span. I cannot wait until this book comes out in print form so that I can order a copy. I especially loved how clear the book begins with a declaration of what it means to be brave and how that is what God intends for us. I highly recommend it. What I really liked about this devotional is how simply it was laid out. You have a verse of the day or night (depending on when you're doing your devotions with your kiddos), you've got your devotion & which has a great conversation starter or question at the end of it & then you've got a short prayer that you can say together. It is on the simpler side illustration wise but as a mom i didn't mind it especially if we're reading it together daily. Overall its a nice little devotional to have on hand for sure.

Daily Devotions for Brave Boys: 365 Short, simple, but powerful devotions. A verse, a few paragraphs, and a brief prayer. It takes less than 2 minutes to read each day’s devotion, making it great for breakfast or bedtime, or anytime. I read a few of the devotions from my NetGalley review copy, and am really liking it. It’s designed for boys ages 8-12, so it’s not quite applicable yet for my oldest, but I really look forward to diving in with him in a couple of years!

I loved sharing this book with my son. It gives a title for each lesson and explains how situations in his life can be used to become closer to God. It provides scripture for each lesson and provides a prayer to help him ask God for help in applying his new lesson to his everyday life. I found that it seemed to help him learn to pray and look at how he can go about a different situation in his life that he struggles with. I absolutely recommend this book to anyone with a young son.

This devotion has some great discussions for boys in today's world. Geared more to upper elementary aged readers. If you are searching for discussion points for some important topics, these are great ways to quickly address and discuss with kids.

As a mom of 2 boys I love having a book of devotions geared towards them that I enjoyed and they understood.

I am the mother of two small boys, ages 4 and 6. In this difficult world, I feel that it is so important to remember to put focus on God, or a higher power of some sort. I appreciated that this devotional was able to appeal to my sons, and was able to hold their attention. I am very grateful I was able to share this with my boys. I will absolutely recommend this in my Mommy's group, and will handsell it at work.

My 9 yr old really enjoyed this devotional book for the few days we used it so that we could review it. I would definitely purchase it for him to be able to use all 365 days.
