I absolutely loved this book, just how I also loved the other two in this respective trilogy. I loved the use of the sign language, the art, the friendships, all the characters

Such a shame it's ended now because I would've kept asking for more

Obviously as soon as I saw this beautiful cover and that it was a sequel to The Tea Dragon Society I had to request it from NetGalley.
The fact that this graphic novel was so easy to read through and the illustrations were so gorgeous was really nice.
This part of the series is more about the past of some of the characters that we were introduced to in the Tea Dragon Society and also where we see our main character and the others as well figuring out / overcoming certain fears about who they want to be in the future. It also features themes of grief and loss of either a loved one or a part of yourself.
Of course the addition of the Tea Dragons was utmost wonderful.
Especially since I had been going through a rough patch qua reading slumps and all that jazz, this graphic novel definitely got me out of it, by drawing me into this magical world with amazing characters. I just kept on wishing I could step into this world and had a little Tea Dragon to care for.
The little extract of The History of Tea Dragons was also really good.
I also can't wait for more of this series!

The wonderful Kay O'Neill has once again provided a beautiful graphic novel that feels like a warm, soft embrace.

I don't think I can ever truly explain how much I love this series, it's so feel-good, the colours are just beautiful and it really does make you think about the magic around us!

The third instalment in the Tea Dragons deals with a sensitive topic; grief. But it does it in such a way that it feels healing and not at all patronising!

The found families storyline is dear to my heart, and it's so wonderful to see a diverse and intersectional cast of characters portrayed in a wholesome light.

Kay's style is so impressive; the soft colours, the landscape drawings, I just wish I could display each page in my room! Futhermore, the thought Kay puts into the tea-dragon world and folklore around the tea dragons makes my heart ache for more.

The Tea Dragon Tapestry is, by far, my favourite graphic novel in this series. I was so completely blown away by this and it made me so emotional because I could directly relate to some of the topics explored in this instalment. We once again follow Greta and her friends as she prepares for her test to become a blacksmith’s apprentice.

The book talks a lot about passion, losing it and finding it again. It really made me reflect on my own passion, reading, and how I’ve come to interact with reading and books online. Passion isn’t just this constant all encompassing feeling that never goes away. It can be strong one day and not so present the next. Sometime you need to take a break from doing what you’re passionate about to rediscover your love for it.

The graphic novel also talks a lot about changing your life’s trajectory. One of the main characters, Minette, has to come to terms with the fact that she isn’t following the path in life that she thought she would but connects with another character in such a heartwarming way. Sometimes things don’t go the way we planned and it takes time to make peace with that. You grieve for the life you thought you would have.

I would highly recommend these graphic novels to anyone who needs a hug in book form. They just make you feel happy and warm inside and will lift your mood instantly! Once again thank you to Oni Press for allowing me to review the latest book in the Tea Dragon series!

I absolutely love this, as I do all of Katie O'Neill's work. Her artwork is bright and colourful and delightfully cute, and the storylines are clearly designed to make you feel warm inside. I recommend her work to everyone I can, and this is a brilliant end to a lovely trilogy. Love it!

<strong>Reading a Tea Dragon book again was just what I needed</strong>! I read Tea Dragon Society last year and it was definitely wholesome and had such an awesome concept of the tea dragons and in general a great, diverse fantasy world. I have to say that <strong>I liked the Tea Dragon Tapestry even more than the first book</strong> as it had a better plotline and dived deeper into the mental journey of each of the characters. All in all, it was such a delightful read! 🥰

<b>It was lovely seeing all the characters again and following their journeys </b> ➽ I've always loved the concept of the tea dragons and they are just as cute as in the previous book 💗 (I definitely want my own tea dragon) In this sequel, we <strong>follow the members of the newly founded Tea Dragon Society</strong> again and check in with their lives. Every one of them is dealing with something different and I honestly <strong>loved the found family vibes </strong>that they gave off: there is so much support between them and I loved seeing some of the deep chats between Greta and Minette or Minette and Erik. Every one of them has a different journey. <strong>Greta's trying to become apprenticed to a famous blacksmith</strong> and make something that will impress him. At the same time she's trying to take care of Ginseng, a tea dragon mourning its previous owner. I loved how the story discussed grief and how Greta comes to realize that being there for her new dragon whenever they are ready to accept her help is the most important thing. <strong>Minette is still dealing with her mysterious past and finding herself</strong>, as she feels a bit lost right now. They were so many great messages about wholeness and how you can find yourself again, it really warmed my heart! 💞

<b>The art style is gorgeous and so comforting</b> ➽ The illustrations are right up my alley and I find them to be so calming. The color schemes are amazing and are so appealing, it perfectly conveys the mood of the story and to be honest,<strong> I love to simply stop and admire the beautiful world the author has created</strong>. She really makes me want to live in the world of the tea dragons and moving to a secluded cottage to take care of them and just live my best life 🥰 If you're in the need for a visually stunning and wholesome graphic novel, this is the perfect one to reach for 💕

As I expected, this third installment of the Tea Dragon series by Katie O’Neill is such a lovely breath of air. Without fail, these books bring in a sweet warmth that will spread throughout my day. I know there’s a certain safety between these pages and these characters. It’s truly lovely to see Katie O’Neill bring in such a diverse cast of characters, with apparent ease, and bring their stories into the lives of readers. I feel for these characters and root for their successes. This book is filled with storytelling in the most basic sense, making the reader connect with characters, no matter if they have anything in common. I recommend this book to anyone with a heart, all of us can use a sweet story in our lives.

This is the third and final installment in the Tea Dragon Society series. In this last volume, the art is as beautiful as ever, the creativity of story is just as strong, and it continues to feature diverse characters. This book has so many emotions: heart-warming family, care of pets and their loyalty, and the journey coping with loss-both physical loss of a loved one and loss at the person you used to be as you grow and move on to other things. I’ll be sad to see this series end, but look forward to many more graphic adventures with Katie O’Neill’s beautiful art and stories.

Greta, the newest member of the Tea Dragon Society, continues to care for Ginsing (a dragon who grieves the loss of his previous companion) while contemplating her proposed apprenticeship with a master blacksmith. Minette, meanwhile, receives a memory of her former life and struggles to reconcile that time spent in her forgotten past with the new life she has built.

I love this world so much. The art is beautiful and wonderful to be in. I don't know what more to add that I haven't already said about the Tea Dragon Society world. The stories always bring me a great sense of peace and wonder. If you love tiny dragons, tea, and heartfelt stories, this one is for you!

I love this whole series! They are so incredibly charming and heartwarming! I really hope there is gonna be more because I will read them all!

The Tea Dragon Tapestry by K. O'Neill is yet another gorgeous book in the Tea Dragon series. I have read the previous two books and I marvelled at the illustrations as I did for this book. I love this style of gentle storytelling. A perfect book to cozy up with on cold winter days with a cup of tea!

I enjoy Katie O’Neill’s work on many levels, but especially for their creation of non-sexualized queer content. The Tea Dragon books in particular offer a window into a world where queer love is completely normalized, is present on almost every page, and is not the point of the story! They are “growing up” stories but not “coming out” stories. They’re also multigenerational, which is part of the truly all-ages appeal to me. I appreciate that Hesekiel and Erik are present as loving queer elders to provide support – and also that they have their own lives and struggles, completely independent of Rinn, Greta, and Minette!

I also appreciate the way the Tea Dragon books reassure their protagonists – and their readers – that it is not necessary to be extraordinary or make great sacrifices in order to deserve happiness and love. Greta, Rinn, and Minette all worry about whether they are choosing the right path or doing enough with their potential. Ultimately, they learn that it is all right to find fulfillment in doing what makes them happy, and that it’s also all right to change their minds. I would love to show Minette’s character arc and growth across The Tea Dragon Society and The Tea Dragon Tapestry in particular to anyone who has burnt out or is in danger of it. The tea dragons themselves, portrayed as high-maintenance but ultimately rewarding companions, also serve as a beautiful metaphor—needing help does not make you a burden. The whole series is a gentle validation of the importance of handicrafts, care work, and community.

Chic @ s, first of all I have to tell you that I read this graphic novel as part of the choice of advanced copies to read, that is, every month I choose a book to review and these are advances that are about to go on sale now. Whether in a short or long period such as this, it is estimated that it will go on sale on June 1, 2021 so if you want it for your next readings, do not hesitate to write it down.
Being a graphic novel this is very short and it is read in one sitting, I mean that in one day this book will have already finished. One point in favor of this book is that it uses the use of a super basic English which will not give you any complications if you decide to read it on the date of publication, another piece of information that I will share with you is that this is the third book of a series but they can still read it without having read the previous ones and this is because this book tells a very different story from the previous ones, the only thing they add are the characters, that is, the characters from the previous books appear in this third book .

In this graphic novel we meet some characters full of innocence and hope but not only for themselves but also for the little tea dragons that are almost extinct. Personally, enjoy each of the pages from beginning to end and I am not saying it for the art but for the story that despite being simple this has its charm besides being too soft will make the reader marvel at the world created by Katie O´ Neill. It is emotional, very sweet and clearly magical.

I was sorry to hear that the release date for this was pushed back to 2021. It’s so worth the wait though. Even if 2020 could have benefited from the happiness that is the tea dragons.
Like everything Katie O'Neill, the artwork is perfection. I love how the story ended but I’m sad that we can’t keep visiting this world. I would have loved to come back every year and see what the tea dragons and family have been up to. It’s such a safe and inclusive world.

A heartwarming addition to an imaginative series.

In this latest installment to the Tea Drag Society, Greta and Minette work to help a lost dragon and find meaning for themselves. The illustrations capture the emotions and tone of the scene. The text is insightful, drawing emotions out of the characters and readers. The detailed illustrations are stunning and the colors reflect the text. The themes of friendship, acceptance, and love are prominent in this story.

An enjoyable read and great for browsing the illustrations.

I loved every second of reading this book, honestly couldn't put it down. This was just the kind of entertaining read I needed.

As expected, the third part in the Tea Dragon series is perfect.
The art is beautiful, the story is sweet, even tho it touches on heavier subjects like loss, and the representation is amazing.

I loved that the first two parts are set in different places, at different times, and with different main characters, but still this third book manages to connect both of those seperate stories, which makes a great conclusion.

I am very happy this whole series exists.

The Tea Dragon Society comics series is beautiful and delightful and Tapestry continues that. With gorgeous and cute art, Katie O'Neill manages to weave fantastic stories of friendship and community.

The story didn't appear in my netgalley app so I wasn't able to access it, but from the description I could tell it would be a highly enjoyable read!
