I give props to Michael Malone, but this wasn't the book for me.

That book was sometimes sad, sometimes funny, sometimes messy, but always authentic.

Thanks to NetGalley and Michael Malone for this ARC!

Dearest Michael Malone.

Dead Serious is an amazing tribute to family, growth, honesty, transparency, and most of all, the truth that lies behind depression. Michael Malone is real. He chooses to share such intimate moments of his life without hesitation. He has used his platform to shine a spotlight on depression and suicide. Both heavy topics to address. He has done a wonderful job.

And, always remember, it will get better....keep swimming.

Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and Michael Malone for an ARC in return for an honest review.

My thanks to Michael Malone and Netgalley.
This was another crap shoot for me. I lost. I give mad props to Mr. Malone. But, for me this didn't work. Loved the cover and the concept.
But this was not a bit for me. Many reasons why. But, I don't care to explain.
Best wishes to Mr. Malone. Just not my thing.

Dead serious- Michael Malone

Interesting style of this kindle book I have not read one in this format before and it was not always the easiest to read because of this.
It was from the authors perspective of his feelings and how he was dealing with feelings/emotions of depression and his experiences while grieving. It was a dark humour book and easy to read how he designed it, but nevertheless I found it quite a likeable book. Many thanks to both netgalley and the author for allowing me to read this book.

From life with depression to grieving deaths of loved ones, and thoughts of suicide, this book covers it all. The Kindle version was a bit choppy but still readable. The dark humor made me want to laugh and cry at the same time.

A big thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book.

It's been a while since I last read an epistolary novel like this one. I like the story. I find his entries funny because they're realistic. The Kindle copy of this one was a bit difficult to read but still, it was worth it. Depression has been a problem for years and it gets worse as time goes by. I know somehow understood what he's been through and came up with the same conclusion. It was a good and easy read that can make people understand what's going on in the mind of a depressed person.
