This book is so good! This is a new-to-me author and I'm so glad I found this series. I loved it. The book is well written, will make you laugh out loud and will keep you guessing until the end. Now I want to read the beginning of this series. Thank you Beyond the Page Publishing via NetGalley for the ARC copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

This was another good book in the black cat series. There is a popular country singer in town for a concert and all sorts of mysterious things are happening around that. There are plenty of twists to keep you wondering how everything is connected or if it is just a coincidence. Sabrina is a likeable character and many of the other supporting characters are well rounded. My favorite is Hitchcock because he is a bit naughty but does it with flair like only cats do. My only disappointment is that despite there being a lot of build up; the ending seemed a bit abrupt and to not quite tie up all of the strings.

I received this ARC via Netgalley and Beyond the Page Publishing, in return for an honest review. This is the latest in an on-going series and easily read as a stand-alone book. Sabrina Tate, author, lives in one of the cottages on her aunt’s business, Around-The-World Cottages. Accompanied by her infamous black cat, Hitchcock, Sabrina’s delighted to speak at the local book club about her first book. Things don’t go so well when one of the book club attendees leaves and assaults a man on the street. When he turns up dead and found by Sabrina’s nephew, she knows that finding the killer is more important than the next chapter of her new book.
This is a fun series and I recommend it. Hitchcock is known around town for being a ‘bad luck’ black cat; Sabrina finds him invaluable for finding clues when she’s confronted with mysteries and dead bodies. The multiple characters are clearly written and the story is well told. I’m looking forward to the next book from Ms. Finch in this series.

I’m so happy this series is going to continue! Sabrina and Hitchcock are back for another whodunit with lots of twists and turns with excellent characters and a mystery which kept me guessing.

Definitely a good series to pick up if you like cat cozies!

The dynamic duo of Sabrina and Hitchcock are back in this exciting addition to the series.

Things are heating up in Lavender, especially with country singer Colt Jamison in town for a concert.

All heck breaks out when Sabrina’s brother and nephews come to town and one of them get mixed up in a crazy murder investigation.
It’s up to Sabrina and Hitchcock to solve the investigation and set things right in her little town.
I love this series and a new book always brings a smile to my face.

Summer is hotter in Texas and when country music star Colt Jamison comes to Lavender to perform, things get even hotter! Not long after Colt’s entourage rolls into town, his public relations manager is murdered. Turns out the man was a hometown Lavender boy and was not well liked, leaving a trail of suspects in his wake. But no worries as Sabrina Tate and her black cat Hitchcock are on the case!

I can’t help buy find myself smiling as I read this series…and wishing for my very own black cat! Hitchcock seems to communicate with Sabrina and she with him. They are a pair of sleuths that seem to get to the bottom of what matters most and Hitchcock always has Sabrina’s back. A fun, fast read since you cannot put it down. I look forward to every visit to Lavender!
