Kiss My Cupcake is typical Helena Hunting, which is a good thing!! In just the few chapters I read I was laughing half of time. I love how she brings humor and quirkiness to her writing. Her books are always to fun to read. I will definitely be buying the full copy to finish.

I was graciously given a preview of Kiss My Cupcake that included the first four chapters of the book. This book appeared to be an easy read with an obvious lead into a romance between two restaurant competitors. This book includes quite a bit of dialog than I'm use to. It is nice to have a mix between dialog and the rest of the story. If you like to read about romance, competition, and overcoming expectations from others, this is the story for you. I'm not very familiar with Helena Hunting, but from the obvious chemistry between the two characters, I imagine it leads up to a steamy romance. This story left me intrigued to see how it ends, yet it didn't completely capture me into a complete desire to finish the book right away. This might be due to only having read the first four chapters. I have this book on hold at the library and look forward to seeing how the book ends. I'm a sucker for romance novels so I'm sure I'll love this book once I finish it.

This is a really good book that caught my attention from the very beginning! I can't wait to read the rest of the book!

Kiss My Cupcake is definitely sweet and I’m always here for an enemies to lovers romance, but I was a little underwhelmed by this one. The characters weren’t very memorable and with their back stories and families, it felt a little like the author was grasping for ways to make them interesting. Some of those aspects didn’t really work for me, along with the fact that there was never really any real conflict as their relationship progressed. That said, I still liked it overall.

ugh i was so excited to read this book and then i read this preview. and it just was so disappointing and i did not enjoy it at all. the main characters were just boring and there's nothing different about them than any other romance novel. over it.

A sweet and humourous romantic story guaranteed to fall in love with the characters.
Blaire, the only daughter to a renowned restaurant owner but totally not interested in family business. After coming back from Paris, she was sure she wanted her own cocktail and cupcake café. And with her best friend, Daphne by her side, her dream was just a week away from it's grand opening. But with the hot lumberjack having an axe-throwing enclosure right next door at his own Knight Pub, Blaire now not only has a competition but also an untold chemistry that she highly denies.
How do you think Blaire will manage through all these for her grand opening? Besides, when an even bigger opportunity comes with both having to work together how will they manage?

Overall, I would say this book is as sweet as any cupcake can ever be. From page one, you'll be hooked on to the book. Really looking forward for the entire book.

WHAT an adorable fun premise to a romance, as two neighboring business owners are clearly headed for an amazing enemies to lovers trope that I am totally here for.

Serve up Ronan's studly plaids and a side of Blaire's sass, with a cupcake for dessert & this story will have the perfect characters you'll want to sink your teeth into.

Great excerpt, really looking forward to reading the book even more now!

I'm a HUGE fan of Helena Hunting and her writing, so it's no surprise that I was completely drawn into Kiss My Cupcake from the first chapter. I love these preview chapters, but they always end much too soon. Off to read the full novel now!

A perfect enemies to lovers' romance. Funny, cute and full of chemistry.
Blaire has just opened her cupcake ‘bar’, which has always been her dream, but the bar next door also opened on the same day and promises to put his business at risk. The owner of the Bar is unbearable and frustratingly beautiful and does not miss an opportunity to play a trick on her. The two will compete in the competition for the best bar in the city and there will be tons of fights between them, and unexpectedly they will have to unite to bankrupt and then you know the sparks of the fights will turn into something more and together and they will dominate the city's bar scene.

I received a free preview of Kiss My Cupcake (Thank you NetGalley). From what I've read so far, it seems like an easy, fun book. I can't wait for the book to come out so I can see how the relationship plays out and how the chemistry between the two develops!

Kiss My Cupcake made me laugh out loud more times than I can count. This is the type of book that I have been dying for because not only is it hilarious but it's food-themed and we have a nice little enemies-lovers theme as well as a workplace romance. It's slow-burn but not enough to make it boring, it's witty and shocking, and, most importantly, Blaire and Ronan's chemistry flew off the pages for me, something I absolutely love in books!

If you're looking for a funny, easy read, then I highly recommend this!

What do you get when you mix cupcakes, booze, beautiful retro dresses, a determined hard-working woman, a handsome fun-loving man, a loveable grandpa, and a bar with a lot of history?? A very sweet story, pun intended.

Blaire is a delight and her dedication to make her cupcakery a success is admired. Ronan has a heart of gold and is so much fun! Together they are one of my favorite romantic duos.

The story is an adventure in running your own business, dealing with a crazy family, and learning to compromise and work together to move ahead. The witty banter added to the playful atmosphere and the steamy parts were just right.

This was the perfect read to take on our camping trip and I loved every minute of it. And now I need a cupcake...

In this 4 chapter preview, we see interesting mash-up with two very different personalities. It is just POV from Blair so Ronnan is a bit of mystery. I hope that the book continues in good humor and steamy scenes it picked my interest.

Diving right in with fast dialogue and playfulness, Kiss My Cupcake hit my palate sweet and light in true classic RomCom fashion. The metaphors felt a bit forced and kept pulling me out of the story, but I recognize this heavier hand with play-on-words and puns from her book Pucked, so it's just a stylistic preference of Ms. Hunting's that's not my favorite yet nothing subjectively bad. I'm curious how the rest of the story goes with these two next-door enemies and their business ventures. Thanks to Forever & NetGalley for the Read Now sample!

I only received the preview of Helena Huntings, Kiss my Cupcake from NetGalley, but from only they few chapters given to me you are almost instantly thrown into a heated battle between two people throwing grand openings for their new Cupcake/Cocktail Cafe and a Pub where you can enjoy a beer and some pub food while throwing the odd axe. What about that doesn't peak your interest? I can tell this book will be a book that everyones reading and passing around. It has witty humor and a hot lumberjack pub owner with tattooes, glasses and flannel plaid button ups. Need I say more? A must buy! Helena Hunting has me hooked.

Definitely a great little preview and I just can't get over how delicious the title is ;-)
