This was the first J Ryan Stradal book that I've read, and I very much enjoyed the experience. This is a great recommendation for reader's who enjoy complex but likeable characters in an immersive setting

Sisters. Grudges. Dreams. Beer. I loved the complicated relationship between Helen and Edith. When we feel we are right or have a righteous cause, we can get pretty stubborn.  I loved the humor and drama and love because it rings true.  Just really enjoyed this book!!!

Heartwarming family drama around a Minnesota brewery.  Decent writing, interesting characters, multi-generational.

This is a novel that is a wonderful intertwining about a bit of modern American family life, communities and, of course, beer making. It all hangs together very nicely and is well plotted and well paced.
