This was a cute book delving into what an archaeologist does and how they help us learn about the past. The drawings are sweet, but not overly detailed, they are just enough to help children understand the story more. The questions at the beginning of the book are good to use as discussion question before reading the story, and the information in the book is good as a first learners story. It is not too much at once which makes it easy for children to understand better.

Cute book! I read a lot of children’s literature because I am raising a toddler and loved this book and would definitely recommend it to people. I love that the archaeologist is a female. I thought this book was adorable and now made me want to be an archaeologist.

The pictures in this book were adorable. I read it to my niece and she loved it and she learned a lot.

I really enjoyed this storybook that is informative and easy to follow. It summarizes the cool things archeologist do and the tools they use to find artifacts in the ground and ocean. The only thing I would improve on are the illustrations. The pictures do not do justice to what archeologist find.
