Twin sisters, Elma and Thelma Hochstetle inherited their Grandparents home and shop in Indiana. When they go there they find the house needing many repairs. As they work to make the repairs they meet Joseph and Deibert which are good friends. This is there story of finding love and romance. Will the both find true love. There is two stories in this book. The lopsided Christmas cake and the Farmers Market Mishap. The lopsided Christmas cake is the story of Thelma and Joseph romance and how Elma tries to push her sister with Deibert. The Farmers Market Mishap is the story of Thelma and how she runs the store and finds her own love.

This is two segments in the story of twins, Elma and Thelma Hochstetler. The twins are in their 30s and are unmarried. When their grandparents die in an accident they are surprised to find out that they left their house and business to them instead of their father (her grandparents’ only son). Their father and mother also run a general store. The twins decide to move to the small town where their grandparents lived and look over their new property. The house and the store are run down but they forge ahead to make a living on their own. In the first story Thelma, the outgoing twin, meets her match and in the second one Elma, the more businesslike twin finds hers. Any more about that would ruin the stories.

This was highly enjoyable and I would highly recommend it to those who enjoy this genre and especially are fans of the Brunstetters (Wanda and her daughter-in-law Jean).

I have voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from NetGalley. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

This was a wonderful book comprised of two stories that had been previously released separately. I enjoyed both stories a lot. This was such a cozy, pleasant book!

The story of twin sisters Elma and Thelma is truly twice as nice. It was so enjoyable to journey with both of the sisters and see if they find romance. I always look forward to seeing the recipes at the end of each book too!

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc!

These are two previously released books that have been repackaged as one...because you really have to read them both! Each features a different twin sister - Elma and Thelma - as they journey to their happy-ever-after. The twins are complete opposites, which makes for a nice bit of antagonism between them, not even including the addition of the requisite love interests, Joseph and Delbert. There's one very lopsided cake that kind of kicks things off, a lot of laughter, and some healing along the way. In the first book, Elma falls in love. The second story is about Thelma's feelings of abandonment and eventually finding her own happy ending as well.
