Thank you Netgalley for allowing me to read and review Jingle All the Way. I look forward each year to reading Debbie Macomber’s holiday romance novels. This year I was disappointed, it just was lacking the magic that her previous holiday stories had. I usually can’t put her bookS down, this one I had difficulty getting through. Perhaps I was expecting a story like Mrs. Miracle or her Angel books, Jingle All the Way was nothing like either of those previous titles. However, She is still one of my favorite authors.

I'm a big fan of Debbie Macomber, but this wasn't one of my favorites. Maybe it's because I was expecting a Christmas story and this didn't seem Christmasy. Christmas is only mentioned in the first 80% of the book, the last part is about Christmas, but it's mostly about Daisy going home. It was an ok read.

No need to wait until Christmas to read Jingle all the Way by Debbie Macomber. It's an uplifting book that is right on the mark any time.

Fast and furious romance with a sweet holiday theme.

In many ways, I can understand what the big deal is about forcing a vacation. This year I really feel the need! So when I saw this story was about that very topic, I knew it was the perfect kickoff to some fun holiday reads!

Macomber sets the stage with a perfect workplace scenario that really sets your teeth on edge! I can feel for Everly and her desire to find the right assistant who doesn’t want revenge for working with you! An Amazon cruise? Oh, I would die!

With plenty of embarrassing and humorous situations, poor Everly has her work cut out for her on this unexpected vacation and Macomber creates the perfect offset to Everly’s workaholic ways in Asher. A wee bit of a nerd but strong, tender, handsome, and capable, they manage to find a bit of insta-love in the Amazon.

With beautiful settings, a blossoming love affair, and a tiny bit of family intervention comes a sweet story that gives hope and sweetness a new look. A perfect holiday story that you can enjoy in an afternoon and leave you with a smile on your face! Macomber is the go-to author for happily ever after women’s fiction and sweet romance!

Debbie Macomber does it again! This book was everything and more that I love about her writing style. It was easy to read, full of quirky characters, and so sweet and heartwarming. Even though this looks like a Christmas book, it just takes place in December and only has a few pages of Christmas dialogue. I’m so happy I didn’t wait to read this until December. Read any time of the year. It was an easy five star read. Also, now I really want to go to the Amazon.

"Jingle All the Way" by Debbie Macomber
Oh, my, yes, I loved this story. What is not to like? It is a fun light clean sweet contemporary romance. But who would expect this author to select an Amazon River cruise? That took a bit of an adjustment on this readers' part. Ah, but a luxury cruise would not have been what our female lead needed nor would her … well I may have already said too much. Let's just say, you really do want to check out this story. It is a winner and just what I expect from this author. Happy Reading ! !
Note: I received an ARC from the publisher with the expectation I would post my honest review.

When workaholic Everly/Daisy is mistakenly sent on an Amazon Jungle Christmas cruise by her inept assistant, her life drastically changes when she meets Asher. Asher is the ship’s tour guide/wildlife expert.

I enjoyed reading the Amazon Jungle scenes. Everly is not outdoorsy. She’s the complete opposite of Asher and it’s a nice surprise when we initially see both of them get along so well. Everly manages to land into a lot of trouble and Asher is there to help her.

Everly feels somewhat estranged from her family. She hopes this holiday season will help to solidify her familial relationships. She also reflects about her workaholic life style. How can she balance her family, her workload, and her feelings for Asher?

This is a delightful, light, Christmas read that all will enjoy!

This is a fun book. Everly (Daisy) is a partner in an up and coming real estate agency in Chicago. When her partner’s niece, who is working at the agency, sets Everly up for a cruise to take some time off, instead of the luxury cruise Everly was expecting she found her self on a tour down the Amazon river exploring the rain forest with a naturalist (Asher) in charge of the tours. Everly falls head over heels for Asher and he falls head over heels for her but they cannot see their lives meshing over time due to the fact that she loves the fast paced city life and he loves his job in the Amazon. It’s fun watching them work it all out and finding a happy solution.

This is one of those feel good stories that has some fun twists and turns included. And a Christmas theme makes its way in as well.

I have voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from NetGalley. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

I wish to thank NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group – Ballantine Books for allowing me to read an advanced copy of this book. I have voluntarily read and reviewed this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I have long been a fan of Debbie Macomber and was thrilled when I was offered a chance to read and review this one. I did not think the cover or the book title reflected the story line. There was just not enough of a Christmas story there. This is more of a Hallmark movie theme.

I think the beginning of the book was good but toward the end it felt like a rush to finish and not the usual theme we get from Debbie Macomber. Much of the book is set in the Brazilian rain forest where some of the heroine’s escapades did not seem reasonable. She created a very strong, successful woman turning into someone who is accident prone and needs to be rescued. It just did not ring true.

Sorry but this book was just not for me.

I just finished Jingle All the Way by Debbie Macomber and I have to admit, I was very disappointed by this book. The story was rushed, the characters not very developed and the style was so not the author's usual style that I was really put off by it. The whole story seemed trite and uninspired, as though it was drudged out in boredom. As a real fan of her previous work, I hope that the quality of this Christmas book doesn't indicate the direction her books are going.

Thank you to the author, Random House Publishing - Ballantine and NetGalley for an ARC of this novel for an honest review. I just wish it could have been better.

I love a good Christmas story year round. From getting into the spirit of the season around the holidays or just a mental break from the heat if the summer, stories like this always puts me in a good place. Debbie Macomber is one of the best!

I love her stories and the Christmas ones are some of the best. I needed a story with a happy ending and Debbies never disappoint.

Everly and Jack are business partners and he brings his niece into the office to work. His sister wants him to and he does whatever it takes to make his sister happy. Everly is not happy about having Annette as her Assistant and tries to get her fired. So Jack decides that Everly needs a vacation and gives her the whole month of December off.

Annette books her on a Brazilian vacation. Or so she says she does but she books her on the Amazon Explorer. No wifi and in the middle of nowhere for two whole weeks. Everly has an exciting trip I guess you could call it.

One thing it does is get her to thinking about what she needs to do when she returns home. A really interesting book that will play on all your emotions. I really enjoyed it but less face it when do we have a bad Debbie Macomber book.

I look forward to Debbie Macomber's Christmas book each year. I felt this one didn't hit the mark of a Christmas story. I wanted more Christmas throughout, not just towards the end. The romance was too quick and not very realistic. I enjoyed the characters and could relate to Everly's frustration with her assistant. The story was cute, a little predictable and just wasn't my favorite. Maybe next Christmas...

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an eARC / of this book. Typical Debbie Macomber light hearted holiday chick lit. Does not strain the brain or the heart since all is well that ends well. Loved the brief escape from a world gone crazy

Debbie Macomber’s books are the comfort food of women’s literature. I have thoroughly enjoyed many of her past offerings. This one not so much.

My biggest problem is that, for a holiday novelette, it takes almost 2/3 into the book to focus on Christmas, and even then it seems a bit thin in its treatment. The title and cover art convey a story that seems missing in action when you read the book.

The story itself is rather engaging. Everly (aka Daisy) is a high-powered real estate executive that has sacrificed her personal life for professional success. When her business partner insists she take the month of December off to decompress, she embarks on a “luxury cruise” to Brazil only to discover that her vengeful assistant has booked her on a cruise down the Amazon. Everly’s adventures include a variety of amusing mishaps and the possibility of finding love with the cruise’s naturalist. While the outcome is fairly predictable, it makes for a light, entertaining read.

My thanks to the author, Ballantine Books and NetGalley for providing the opportunity to review a digital ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Everly is a workaholic. Due to an incompetent assistant who is the niece of her partner, Everly is now on a cruise that she was not expecting. No phone, internet or TV. Everly discovers a different side of her self that had been laying dormant, she realizes that family and a future she can be happy in are all that matters. This is a feel good Christmas story that will make you feel warm and fuzzy and even laugh!! Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and author for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. 5 stars!!

I received an ebook copy of Jingle All the Way from Net Galley. I am a Debbie Macomber fan. This story kept me reading late into the night. Everly (Daisy) and Asher are relatable characters. I did find the ease of Daisy taking a month off of work a bit unbelievable. A high powered owner of a Chicago business, to agree to leave for a month just didn’t seem realistic. What are the odds that Asher’s only brother lives in Chicago? Set those aside, and become a traveler with Everly (Daisy). Fall in love. Escape from your pressures, relax and enjoy!

Many thanks to the Netgalley and the publisher for providing me a free ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoy Debbie Macomber's stories. They include likable characters, gentle humor, romance, heartwarming scenes of forgiveness and reconciliation, with an underlying strong moral compass without being preachy.

"Jingle All the Way" is no exception to this. It's a lovely story about two people, who appear on the surface to be very different, coming together under unusual circumstances. I don't want to give any of the story away but, there's a bit of an adventure story prior to the Christmassy part of the story.

It's not at the level of "The Turn in the Road" (Blossom Street #8) which I totally love and have re-read multiple times but just a nice, sweet story with a HEA ending. So, brew up a nice cup of tea, curl up in your favorite armchair, and give yourself a nice treat by reading this novella.
