Love reading books from this author. It's Christmas time. Everly (daisy) is taking a much needed vacation and the whole month off of December. When she gets to the ship for her cruise. Its not what she thought. Her assistant booked her on a surprising adventure and everly was not prepared for. To hear more read the book.
Ahhhhh... Debbie Macomber you did it again. Wonderful story in a wonderful setting. Perfect way to get in the mood for the holidays. A cozy blanket, a cup of eggnog, and this book are all you need.
This is a light hearted Christmas read with lovable main characters. Everly and Asher meet on an Amazon cruise where Everly is out of her element and so not prepared. The story is funny and charming, typical of a Debbie Macomber holiday story. Perfect to read during the holidays when life gets even more hectic. If you enjoy Debbie's books, you'll like this one as well. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Jingle All the Way pulled me in all the way! Are you following your life’s passion or taking the safe road so you don’t get hurt? The main characters in this novel have to figure that out for themselves. With some loving family and exasperating friends moving the couple along the paths of self discovery. Thanks to NetGalley and the author and her publisher for letting me read an advanced copy of her book.
I always love Debbie Macomber’s books, particularly the Christmas ones, and this one is no different.
Very likable characters make this a delightful book that covers many of life’s emotions – exhaustion, trip plans not going as planned, illness, very unlikely and dangerous adventures, possible love, holiday spirit, and realization of what is important in life.
You will find yourself drawn into this holiday story, unable to put it down until you have finished the book. I highly recommend it.

Debbie Macomber introduces us to Everly Lancaster who is part owner of Easy Home with her partner Jack. What starts out as a disaster with Jack's niece Annette being a continuous disaster, Everly is being informed that a cruise had been booked so that she could unwind and de-stress. Everly is hesitant about this vacation which also allows her to visit her family for the holidays. Because Annette got her a last minute cruise, Everly has to quickly pack and try getting to her connections on time to get to the port in Brazil on time. Boarding the ship, Everly realizes that her cruise is not the one that involved hot beaches, icy drinks, and lazy days. Instead, she was booked on a cruise going down the Amazon River. Being unprepared and uninformed, Everly is at a disadvantage in all the activities such as the appropriate clothing, insects of the Amazon, and the lack of communication. Luckily, there are her shipmates who help her along the way and there is Asher Adams, the naturalist on board. Whatever can go wrong does go wrong for her.
It was nice to see the humor of Everly's misadventures as the maneuvers around the various obstacles presented to her during this trip. We see Everly who is the overworked and overstressed business woman who is confident in herself and her skills become someone different on this trip. We also see the growing attraction between Everly and Asher and how their lives get in the way of what they want. Will they be able to get past it and fight for each other? How will Everly get through the days without any internet or phone service while on the cruise?
Debbie Macomber brings us a story of second chances and the magic of the Christmas season. I enjoyed Everly and Asher's story. I look forward to the next adventure from this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I would like to thank NetGalley and Randon House Publishing Group - Ballantine Books for this privilege.
A story of a woman forced to take a vacation that ends up changing her life. Daisy has worked hard to make her company a success so she is at a lost when she is forced to take a vacation and ends up on a cruise on the Amazon with no internet or wifi. She is forced to reconsider the choices she has made and to consider what she really wants. and her decision surprises even her.
Debbie Macomber's Christmas romances are some of my favorite treats. Jingle All the Way is fantastic. Just what you want to read by the tree with some hot chocolate. Loved this one!
Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for my ARC. All opinions are my own.
This was a sweet story. I also loved that the heroine was from Chicago like me. However, for me, the story was a bit predictable as it followed the general guidelines of a romance novel even down to the problems they faced and their reuniting was also predictable. I will say that I totally appreciated that there was no overt sex scenes and that they built a relationship that wasn’t built on sexual attraction.
Debbie Macomber is almost as iconic as Santa when it comes to Christmas stories. No holiday season would be complete without a heartwarming romance like this. Her books are so much better than a Hallmark movie. Take some time away from holiday shopping, meal planning, and the utter chaos of the holiday season and settle down with a cozy blanket, a warm drink and Macomber!
I sat out in the heat of a Louisiana summer because I was not going to put this down to take the time and go inside. I read this on my Kindle without realizing it was Debbie Macomber. I should have known because I was instantly in love from the first page. I easily read it in one day!
The characters, main and side, were well fleshed out and believable. I instantly was inspired by Everly's work ethic, although I knew it was going to get her into trouble. I was just as annoyed with her assistant as she was and couldn't wait to see how it was all going to work out! She is more than believable though, my little sister is just like her, so I was invested in finding out how this was going to end for her. While maybe also hoping she would learn lessons that would help her.
The first big mistake from her assistant was tiny compared to the one Everly finds herself in. This was deliciously terrible and had me turning pages on my kindle like it was on fire! Love, love, love and I want to write up more but I'm so worried about spoiling that I'll just leave it there. Fabulous, wonderful character.
Asher was much the same. Since there are a few men in this book, I wasn't sure who was going to be the love interest, especially since I hate to re-read a synopsis and spoil it. So, I was able to suss out not only who the romance was going to be with, but how I felt about him without any extra input. I enjoyed their easy talks and fun relationship, and the way he always seems to look out for her. Which is especially nice considering where they are!
In short, I could write pages and pages about how lovely this is and how wonderful this made me feel while reading. More Christmas at the end than throughout, but that didn't stop me from being happy the whole way through. I can't wait to buy this for friends and family this Christmas!
Jingle All the Way is a spectacular romance. Debbie McComber has written another winner. Loved this book. I received an advance ebook from the publisher and this is my unbiased review.

I have several readers in our library who will love this book! Overworked Everly is mistakenly booked on an Adventure cruise and falls in love with the naturalist. Loved it!
Thanks to NetGalley and Ballantine Books for this light-hearted read.

This is a quick read for a rainy afternoon. Holiday reading...although not one of my all time favorites, it was a fun read. This is one of my favorite aiuthors who writes several series and other stand alone books. Try this one.
Overworked Everly goes on what she thinks is a luxury vacation. She soon finds herself on a trip into the Amazon with naturalist Asher. They fall in love and must decide how to mesh their very different lives. I received an ARC from NetGalley and Ballantine Books for my honest review.
I would call this book more of an insta-love book. As I am reading this in August I felt the first part of the book was made for a beach read. The second part made me feel like it was a Christmas book. It's cute to see Daisy and Asher relationship develop during the Brazil adventure. The love might be quick for them but it takes a lot for both of them to come to terms with making this happen for real. I say this book ends up being a Christmas miracle. Asher brings out a side to Daisy that she has forgotten about. Daisy brings out Asher's protective, loving side. These are two people who seem like opposites but are very much made for each other. I loved how the last chapter gives you a glimpse of the future.

Everly is a driven real estate executive. When she threatens to fire his incompetent, entitled niece, her business partner insists she take off the month of December to de-stress, and asks his niece, Annette, to book Everly on a cruise. Not until she arrives at the dock in Brazil does Everly realize that the vindictive young woman has booked an eco-cruise through the Amazon rain forest instead of the luxury cruise she expected—no Internet, phone, or TV available. Everly cannot imagine how she will survive for 2 weeks, but then she meets the ship’s naturalist, Asher. Can a city girl who is driven to succeed in business even consider a relationship with a laid-back traveling naturalist? Jingle All the Way is a good choice for readers looking for a happily-ever-after holiday romance with a different twist. Thanks to the publisher and to Netgalley for providing me with an ARC.
“Jingle all the Way” is a cute easy to read story that leaves you feeling good. As usual Debbie Macomber develops interesting characters and the story will make you laugh out loud in parts. A simple tale about choosing what really matters.
I LOVE Christmas books, they are the perfect sweet reads for the holidays. I'm usually a fan of Debbie Macomber's holiday books, which I know are sticky sweet, but they're fun and there's usually a Hallmark movie made of them.
So I was thrilled to get to read Jingle All the Way! Unfortunately, this ended up a DNF for me and I usually stick them out, but I just couldn't get past the 80% mark.
The story had great potential, but was a total fail for me. Being captured by "natives" in the rainforest? Ugh, so offensive. Stilted dialogue about how much they care for each other, yet they can't manage to communicate that to each other?
Thank you to Net Galley for the ARC for an honest review.
Jingle All the Way by Debbi Macomber 5 stars
You can never go wrong with a #DebbieMacomber book. I have read and enjoyed many of her books through the years and this one didn’t disappoint me. It’s a light, fast and fun read. I like Everly’s character though I prefer to call her Daisy. Like Asher said, Daisy suits her more.
Daisy’s trip to the Amazon rainforest was unexpected. I didn’t expect it either but I enjoyed reading all about the adventure on the Amazon Explorer. It sounds fun and educational. I’d like to join an explorer trip someday but hopefully avoid falling in the murky Amazon river. Daisy and Asher’s time together was short. It’s somewhat unrealistic to have deep feelings for each other that fast but it was cute to read. I couldn't put it down.
I enjoyed the character developments. Just like the author's other books, you will always learn a lesson or two at the end. It’s also a clean read. I like the romance part as well as the family gatherings in the story. Daisy’s family is adorable and sweet. Christmas was amazing with her family and I’m glad Daisy finds her way home.
